I recently bought a usb network adapter for my pc, well hung and he worked for 3-6 hours. Suddenly, he breaks the connection to only OUR router. If I can catch neighbouring signals but not ours. the router settings seem to be my mac address blocked, if im not a expert in such things, but see nothing obvious in the inspection.

Also, I can connect a live wire and it works so the router seems to be not blocking me and the adapter seems to work... Yet, I can not catch the signal.

I am running Windows 7 build 7601 with network linksys ac1200 adapter. The network inSSIDer tool found my network, but after I unplugged my ethernet that it disappeared from the list of wifi available, now I can't seem to find him...

Notes: I tried to reboot everything and reinstall the connection in the connections stored in the Panel but also reinstalled the NIC driver.

I tried to connect on a different os (Linux), but it looks that this network adapter is not supported with drivers linux so no luck there.

None of these tests have nothing. I returned the linksys adapter and got a belkin one to match the router and have not had problems since. Maybe it was a problem of brand compatibility

  • WiFi in home network problem

Just recently (30/05/15) installed my wifi router Linksys AC1200 wireless with home network.  Everytime I turn on my HP Tablet, running Windows 8, it causes a touchscreen HP Pavilion 23 start to print a manual on my modem cable to my main printer to my main PC.  The printer (connected wireless) HP Envy 4500, part of my network (wireless) and I can't seem to understand what to do about it.  The option online (192.168.1.1 - Smart WiFi Guide) troubleshooting Linksys seems not be able to detect a problem or fix.  Don't know what else to do.  Technical support phone can't seem to find a solution to the problem either.  Any ideas?

You may have something set up in the print queue? Is printing your Tablet configured for the wireless?

  • My internet quality drops every 5 seconds - 3 minutes for 1 to 5 seconds while playing games.

    * Original title: quality Internet stutters?

    The problem:

My internet quality drops all the 5 seconds - 3 minutes for 1 to 5 seconds and I have no idea if this is my system, my router, my card or my internet provider. It is to play games almost impossible.

You can see dips in connection on the chart on the attached photo.

    Complete test results: http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3591022597

    Info:

My current provider is Xfininty (Comcast Cable) and we have a bunch of 25Mbps (it's what I think it is.).

My current router is the "double AC1900 - router Linksys band SMART Wi - Fi" and the card to go with it is the Linksys AC1200-free wire-USB AC adapter ("Linkysys WUSB6300" in the Device Manager) and "Rocketfish USB 3.0 PCI Express Card" for the adapter to be used for my computer. I need the adapter so I can access the two Wi - Fi signals, the router clears.

    |-------------------------------------|

My System Specs are as follows:

    Processor: Intel (r) Core S 860 @ 2.53 GHz 2.53 GHz

    Installed memory (RAM): 8.00 GB

    System type: 64-bit Operating System

    Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GT440

    Other info:

I used to have an old router a NetGear, and there was the same problem, but with a slow connection constantly. We have since then replaced by the current one and that did not help, wait for the best connection. I found a new router would fix it, but it didn't. This is why I think it's my system or my internet provider.

My router is in the basement and I am on the 2nd floor of my house, but that has not affected all the world, so I don't think it affected me. Other dips in the connection, the quality was great and constant.

    What I tried:

I contacted Xfinity and chatted with an agent and described the problem I did here, and they said that nothing was wrong, on their side, as they watched it. A friend suggested may have my system. In this case, I made sure everything is up to date, and I believe that it is.

All the cables that are used for the router are correctly connected.

    Reasons:

-Why I think this is my System: offset varies in different games. For some games, my ping will increase and it will be a "big shift" and the shift happens from time to time, rarely, while for the other games it will lag very frequently, it will be a "small shift", while there will be no change in the ping.

-Why I think it's my internet provider: even if I got a new router and adapter, there are always these tips little lag as it did before.

    ----------

For me, it's quite confusing, because there are reasons pointing in all sorts of directions and I don't have no idea what direction to go. I tried as much as I can, although apparently not liked very much.

    ----------

Thanks for reading and thanks for helping if you do.

    Hello

Thanks for the reply. I was talking about the pre-installed games that I was online with like Team Fortress 2 and League of Legends. But due to another question earlier about another problem, I deleted Norton Security Suite and who seemed to have it fixed. I just hope that is not temporary.

If you update on this, I'll post it here.

    Thanks for the help.

  • The network connection issues of comments with EA6300 (Linksys Smart wifi router AC1200)

I have a friend who runs a Bed and Breakfast, and it is problems with guests to be able to connect to the Guest network.  She bought this router on the recommendation of Best Buy Geek Squad, after that she had a few problems with his predecessor.

Everything is configured correctly, the router seems to work very well, especially with the normal network.  Network comments can be seen, with a decent amount of signal strength, but when people try and connect to the network and try to use it, they are never invited for comments login screen.

I was able to verify that it works in fact - I helped set it up, but apparently there are several people who use Android phones and tablets and iPads that do not receive a prompt to enter the password of comments and continue.

Is there any manual addresses can be entered in a browser to access the web connection screen invited?

OR even better, is there a way to assign the password to the guest SSID as a normal wireless access point rather than allowing customers to connect to a password-promptless guest SSID and must try to finagle screen comments for pop up password?

It's very frustrating for both my friend who runs a business and myself who are in favour.  The router is defective?  Y at - it a new firmware?  Any help would be appreciated.

Hi troybenedict. For Android tablets and phones, there is an option there to forget the network.  Let them do first and connect again.

In addition, they should asked for the password only when they begin to access Web sites.  They do not have that?

You can also check the number of comments allowed Guest Access tab. There are limits the number of authorized clients.

  • MU-MIMO AC1200 soon?

Anyone know if linksys will soon release a version AC1200-MU-MIMO a Wireless USB adapt? They have AC600 of MU-MIMO but not a 1200. Only AC1200 is not MUMIMO. I have the EA8500 and I would like to take advantage of MUMIMO technology. Don't want to get the AC600 if there is a time would help to frame that is early for an AC1200 news! Thank you!

Use the adapter AC600 Mu-Mimo, and I said that the experience is swell. Much better than the experience on the non-mu mimo AC1200 (WUSB6300), which i also have.

  • Problems of configuration of IPTV, WRT1900ACS.

Hello. I have big problems getting my IPTV to work with my WRT1900ACS. I'm failry certain that it has something to do with something in the router configuration, but what and where is the question. VLAN? Port forwarding? If I go with my cable ISP directly on the uses of the socket of the TV, it works, but as soon as I go through my router, it doesn't. Everything else works, and after reading about this a little bit on the net, it seems almost obvious that I have to click or configure something in my Smart Wifi of Linksys. I'm a lot of people thought have had these problems and in the hope that they were able to solve them.

Someone has good directions on where to start? I'll also call support for IPTV, but since signals will be mainly done in the router, my guess is that they will not be able to solve. I'm really grateful for any help I can get. I had so many technical problems the last few months, I don't even start taking place with them here...

I live and the Sweden and the IPTV provider's Viasat. The box is a Samsung.

    Kind regards

  • E4200 - Wireless die channels 2,4 / 5 GHz when I watch IPTV.

The E4200 work very well, iphone 3gs / s galaxy on channels 2,4 ghz and the Sony Vaio on the 5 GHz channel.  I have a satellite/iptv receiver connected to the E4200.  Whenever I have switch from satellite to IPTV channel, stream of the channel of the TV is fine but I lose channels wireless on the E4200, until I have restart the router.

I placed a 5 port gigabit switch between my Internet (100 MB Fast Ethernet) and the E4200 and plugged the E4200 and IPTV receiver directly in the gigabit 5 switch ports.  When I'm connected like that IPTV and E4200 wireless are fine and don't give up.

I am running the latest firmware 1.0.02 and I do not use media/usb port.

    Thanks for the link.

I replaced the switch Gigabit 5 port Netgear that I had previously suspended behind the E4200 with a Linksys SE2800 switch and it seems to be very good at the moment.   I have the pc, iptv, the nas connected to the SE2800 and the SE2800 plugged into the E4200.  IPTV and the wireless is working, no abandonment so far.

I don't know what was really going on, perhaps the netgear switch is going bad and causing problems with the E4200.  Has either been thanks for your help reloving this problem.

  • With the help of TC as a bridge between the Linksys router.  TC will be connected by a cable ethernet to another building.  Will this work? Help.

Need to get wireless to my workshop about 70 feet from the House.  Linksys router connect to the Hughes Net modem uses.  I have a new time Capsule I would like to set up in the workshop.  I have an ethernet cable from my house to the workshop.  (Had bad lighting storm last week and knocked out two Linksys routers.  TVs all otherwise not serious!  Need help, TC inlays.

Connect the ethernet to the WAN port on the TC and just run the configuration wizard utility airport... it should automatically configure the TC correctly... Have you already tried that and it didn't... If so the TC attached as well during the storm because it can damage the ethernet ports.
