LiveBooks edit suite plugin won't install

Back in the old days, we used to download a plugin for our download folder, open the plugin Manager in LR and install the plugin. We have been in business in about 1 minute.

Fast forward to advanced computer today and the process is as follows:

-Download and install the free application of creative cloud from this location https://creative.Adobe.com/products/creative-cloud

-That ensure synchronization of files is selected in the preferences of creative cloud application

-On this page plugin, click on 'Free' / 'Install' for the plugin. The 'Free' button will change to 'Install' Once logged in

-In a few seconds, creative cloud is expected to publish a notice such as "add-on has been installed.

-This means not that the plug-in is installed with Lightroom but rather that the plugin has been downloaded from your Adobe account on your local disk in ZIP file

-Go to your download folder and locate this file "livebookslrplugin.zip".

-Extract the archive plugin in a known location on your local disk

-Launch Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and open Plugin Manager (file-> Plugin Manager)

-Under the heading of the list of plugins, click 'Add '.

-Inside the pop-up window navigate to the location of the extracted plugin and select the "liveBooks.lrplugin" package, and then click Add plugin

-When he was still in the Lightroom plug-in Manager, click 'Done '.

-The plugin is now installed and you can proceed to the configuration

Now, if you have a computer problem, and somehow this missing plugin then you end up with a new show. Adobe CC says it's already on your computer. A research says that it is not. LR says that it is not. Now, it doesn't seem to be a way to simply upload the finished plugin and install it the old-fashioned way. After spending hours trying to fix this, I give up.

Can someone tell me where I can get this file? EditSuite publish Service

I don't mean the page that says you can download Adobe with all of the above steps I mean just that little, tiny plugin. I know how put it in the proper folder and install it in LR, all I need is that the plugin.

Thank you

Patrick

Hi PatrickInBA,

    ·        Which edition of Windows 7 you are using?

Works Suite 2003 is not compatible with Windows 7. Click on the link below.

You can try the byAndre.Ziegler suggested in his previous post suggestions, but note that XP mode will only work if you have Windows 7 Professional / Enterprise / ultimate.

Apart from this, you can install the program in compatibility mode and check if it works or not.

  • 6.1 replication plugin do not install

I have a new Windows-based vCenter Server v6.0.0.3018524 that works very well.  This system, I tried to deploy vSphere 6.1 replication, and after some initial difficulties with dns that I seem to have managed to get set up, registered and running unit.

However, no icon for vSphere replication appears on the home screen, and the plugin is not listed under Administration > Solutions > Client Plugins.  At first, it seems to be the problem described at KB VMware: The VMware vSphere plugin replication may not work correctly in the Web of vSphere client however that article does not apply to the v6, the newspaper quoted error message does not appear in mine, and when I followed the procedure to check the certificates, all retired.  In fact, the only reference I can find to the ngcplugin in the journal of virgo is a message about "successfully downloaded.

If I point my browser to the plugin install url: https://[appliance ip]:5480/client/ngcplugin-60.zip the file download and I am able to unzip and manually put in the folder of plugins of web client.  After you restart the WebClient service, it then appears under Administration > Solutions > Plugins Client as version 6.1.0.603051487 but there is still no icon replication vSphere on the home screen.  What follows then appears in the journal of the Virgin:

Error in deployment of one of several plans for the package C:\PROGRA~1\VMware\VCENTE~1\WEBCLI~1\plugin-packages\ngcplugin-60 com.vmware.vise.core.model.CompositeException plugin: CompositeException

I have not saved, deleted and reinstalled the device three times with exactly the same result.  Other plugins, for example, Update Manager, installed on the vCenter without problem and work correctly.  Anyone can shed some light on this? Thank you.

Well I think I've fixed this.  The one and only customization I made my vCenter was to follow this guide to install the ESXtopngc plugin because I find the feature extremely useful.  However, it seems to be incompatible with the replication vSphere plugin and prevented it from loading.  As soon as I removed the plugin esxtop and then redeployed the unit of replication in exactly in the same way I did at least a dozen times before, hey presto!  It works!  I also confirmed this by reinstalling the plugin esxtop, and as soon as I did it disappeared from the replication interface.  I have no idea if it would also affect the device vCenter, for which esxtop plugin has been written, but he's certainly not happy on the Windows.

I note that even if the replication plugin is installed and running, nothing has been added in the plugins folder.  I don't know how or where the replication plugin is gone, but there is obviously something different about it.

Anyone else having this problem with replication, I would say check what other plugins you have installed, and you try to delete an afterlife of the default value until find you a combination that works.  Do not forget that you must restart the WebClient service each time so he can reload plugins so it could be a slow process.  I spent three solid days this troubleshooting.

  • Why is that plugins not to install?

Since the last raft of updates, where Adobe eliminated the need for the extension manager, I could not install the plug-ins for any application. I searched all the different fixed spoke in the forums but I still don't have a fix.
It becomes more urgent today that the projects are trolling. I even went so far to to remove all my Mac Adobe applications and delete any reference to them in the files of miners, then reinstall them all but plugins does not install. The 'Supplement' page still insists that it has installed the elements, which is all the more galling now, I jumped through hoop evert.

Since the last round of updates, the problem seems that Mohave solved itself. Thank you

I just bought the upgrade to Adobe DC Pro and downloaded, but it won't install - is always watch that I have Acrobat Standard DC?  Any suggestions?

Many people, (Brucgovn in particular), I appreciate the help... but nothing worked at all... but I FOUND THE SECRET!

What you do, it is go to the Adobe Web site, click on your product and specify that you want to return items - you want a FULL REFUND!

What is the first option, they give you?  The session ever elusive "cat."  Three times I tried with various silly responses that got me nowhere

On my 4th attempt, I'm someone who knew what they were doing - literally within 5 minutes, all problems solved, and things everything works perfectly.

So... my words of advice - forget trying to fix yourself - hitting where it hurts - in the wallet... the minute you say you want a refund - they struggle to get you fixed, hung, up and ready to go!

Thanks again for the help!  I hope you all have a Merry Christmas - or whatever holiday you and your celebration of the!
