  I found the problem. I opened 'File' then saw 'save as template' grayed. Having not worked with models, I didn't know this isn't how it's done.

  What I should have done was file > save as > then clicked the drop-down 'Save as template' menu option. It was a simple mistake. Thanks to you all.

• Handful of sequence data contains incorrect values when loading the saved project

  I ran into a problem where my values of sequence data are not correct when you open a project with an instance of my effect plugin.

  The values look good if I manually inspect when they are flattened and written in a fine when handle memory and restore AE sends PF_Cmd_SEQUENCE_RESETUP once the backup is complete.  But when I open / load the saved project, the values are not correct.  In other words, my logic flattening/unflattening works within the same session, but during the loading of a saved project, the flattened data is incomplete or has bad values.

  I write several objects to the handful of flat sequence data, and I was wondering if this could be the cause.

  The flattened sequence data manage memory looks like this:

  [[type struct A] [type struct b] [b] of type struct] [struct type b] <.. .arbitrary number of struct type BS... >]

  NB of struct type B varies, so when I ask AE for a handle of memory, I have this:

  When I access the handful of sequence data loading stage, the first struct in the flattened handle has correct values, but all following structs have false values.  I check if the handle is always the right size (I save the size of the handle inside the first structure) and it is indeed the correct size.  I wonder if AE doesn't like how I write from the structB to the handle.

  I'm doing something wrong here?  Is there a better way to store data of arbitrary sizes?

  Ah, I missed actually a significant error in your pointer arithmetic! You're actually in the land of UB ("undefined behavior") with your code!

  You add byte offsets to a pointer type, which is doomed to failure if you don't know what you're doing.

  If you have

  structTypeB * structB_P = reinterpret_cast(flat_seq_dataP);

  and do you

  structB_P += sizeof (structTypeA);

  most of compiler that turn into something like this:

  structB_P = (structTypeB *) ((unsigned char*) + sizeof (structTypeA) * sizeof (structTypeB));

  Wrong in your case (in most cases actually).

  Or more simple put:

  If you have a pointer

  structTypeB * structB_P =...

  and you do:

  structB_P += 3;

  It actually means

  structB_P = strucB_P + 3 * sizeof (structTypeB);

  already!

  Try running your pointer to an unsigned char * or another type of 1 byte basis and then make the increment, and then recast.

  PML instructions are precise and concise.

  My instructions for this issue are similar but more verbose - perhaps they will help you get your system fixed to the top (just read them first, then apply them).

  A "Cannot find...". ', ' Failed to start..., "Could not load..." ». "Might not work... "" Cannot run ""error loading... ". "or"specific module could not be found"message at startup is usually related to the malware that has been configured to run at startup, but the referenced file has been removed after a malware scan, leaving behind him a startup item or the registry entry pointing to a file that does not exist.
  It might be a removal of malicious software or an application not installed.  The entry may have a curious looking name since it was probably generated at random when the malware was installed. If you search your system for the referenced file, you may not find.

  All of the default themes in Windows 7 are located in the folder C:\Windows\Resources\Themes . It is also where all the system files that allow themes and other display components are stored.

  All the other topics that a user downloads and installs is placed in the
  File C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes .

  Hello, it makes me crazy! I have a HP desktop, W7, 64-bit, 2.8 Ghz, 8 G ram I just bought and it has all new updated hardware to update: new motherboard, new 2 TB HDD, cool W-7 w/essentials running all the upgrades. It was just tuned and purged of all the bloatware, spyware, spam etc... give me the best possible performance/Visual display. But now, for some unknown reason, I'm stuck on the Office page one photo w/all the icons are functional, I tried to download new themes, re - install the ones that already exist, that I saved. I have enabled the Aero/off, calibrated my screen by M.S W/7 customer and yet I am unable to activate any kind of theme on a slide frame, nor he can move on but only a picture of a long ago I forgot to theme. The only option that seems to work is to select a non-aero to of display type by choosing a background unlimited solids that do not chg, a different solid color of the same program. ??? FYI: It used to work perfectly right after a major update. I already ran all shooters of boredom and they all came back negative, I did so that all upgrades were current up-to-date (excuse the pun!) I did put a disc of recovery plant, nor do I want to do a factory restore. I'm almost embarrassed to bring it back to best buy Geek Squad, who have worked at least 12 times on my 3 PC devices since registering in their free unlimited support of 2 years for up to 3 devices less than 3 months ago!
