  I use a new i5 16GB laptop running Windows at day 10. I have the latest Lightroom and Photoshop updates installed but am unable to load (from Lightroom) a copy with Lightroom adjustments in Photoshop.   I suggest you uninstall PS, then reinstall. something is wrong with the current installation.

  This could mean that Lightroom CC is not supported on your machine.

  The operating system you have?
  Is - this machine is 64 bit or 32 bit?

  This morning, I bought Lightroom 6.  It was very difficult to find the standalone version.  Everything indicates that joining CC but I can't for various reasons.  I bought a new Sony camera and LR did not accept my RAW images that's why upgrade.  I figured out and got the upgrade on my iMac, but I can't find out how to install it on my laptop.  Before I could just go to my account and download a second copy.  I can't do it.  Adobe makes everything so difficult if you do join cc.  Can anyone help please?

  No, this does not work John.  This is all very confusing.  I finally thought to it (I don't know how) but found a place to download the update, but then to accept my RAW images I also had the Application Download Manager and update that too.  Everything is very confused.  If I had not had a copy of Lightroom ever since first, he went out and had an account with Adobe, I would have probably given upward.  They do everything they can to hide the fact that you can buy stand alone and just keep harping on the cc.  If all goes well with my Nikon and Sony equipment I'm going to upgrade in the near future.  Thanks for your idea if.

  Suggest you convert CR2 raw DNG (Adobe) or purchase LR6. You can get the latest DNG converter for Windows or Mac 9.1 from following link. DNG files will then work with your current software (keep your originals as backups and for use in the software of the camera factory)

  No need to install older versions. Just go directly to Lightroom 3.6.

  I don't know if Lightroom 3 will work correctly on OS X Yosemite. You'll just have to try and see. Or upgrade.

  You can use your operating system to search for all JPG and TIF all RAW, etc.

  Then import you them into Lightroom. Once you have located the files (as explained in the previous paragraph), just select the files in your operating system and drag them into Lightroom. • I can't get my new Nikon D 810 raw file to load in Lightroom. I did this same thing for more than a year using a Nikon D800.

  When I go to add my raw files, as I have always said that it cannot read the raw files. I called Nikon one told me that in the D810 raw files are the same as the D800. Something is in place.

  Raw files are not the same as the willing D810 with a different sensor than the D800. The layout of the file may be the same, but this does not mean any software that supports the D800 will support the D810. Adobe has the new camera profile and add calibration profiles and then release an update to Lightroom. ACR 8.6 RC supports the D810, LR 5.6 will support the D810 probably too. For now, you can convert the nef files to DNG using the dng converter that comes with 8.6 ACR: Adobe Photoshop Camera Raw 8.6 RC CC and CC 2014 Release Candidate: support files raw digital camera - Adobe Labs

  Have a Mac Book Air with Lightroom 4 full download on board. Just got an iMac. Wanted to load 4 Lightroom on iMac. Took the Adobe download file off the Mac Air and tried to load it on the iMac. He succeeded but open the message ' year error occurred when attempting to change modules "appeared. I removed 4 Lightroom and went to the orders of Adobe and re-uploaded my initial order to the iMac. Same effect. Bought full 5 Lightroom in hopes of difficulty but the same message appears. That is what it is! Any help?
