  I have two PCs connected wireless. A laptop (Vista Business) was the drives mapped to actions on the other PC (XP). Whenever the Vista PC is started or out of hibernation, or after only a short period of time these discs are not available.   If I click on 'Network' within Solution Explorer, the XP PC is not visible. The only way that I can "reconnect" these disks is to go into my anti-virus (Trend) and open the network map. This shows the XP PC and then the shares are available through Explorer - XP PC is still not visible by clicking network however.

  It started only happens in the last two months - cannot locate exactly when, but quite recently. I use connections to store small files and backup critical files a few before nailing the laptop away and it is quite annoying to have to go through this routine every time.

  Any ideas?

  Just in case it helps others - I found that if I make sure that my XP PC has a fixed IP address, and then set up the shares so that they are defined using the IP address and not share names, then I do have more problems - seems like it's something to do with Windows solve the share names rather than something to do with the personal firewall after all.

  2. did you of recent changes on the system?

  This seems to be related to any of the Google program that is installed on the system.

  Since you are getting this error at startup, you can try to perform a clean boot and check for the issue.

  A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.

  (3) select "kernel vmlinuz...". ' and press 'e '.

  (7) reboot the device 'reboot '.

  Often, I will update an application directly on my device (iPhone or iPad) instead of via iTunes on the computer. • The main user unable to connect to local devices, work of guest user

  I have problems that I believe are related to my local network communications, but they seem to occur only when you use my main user account.  When I go to my 'guest' account or another account with administrator privileges - the problems do not appear.    Here are the symptoms:

  -My laptop connects successfully to the internet via a gateway generated by my Apple Time Capsule.  This also works if I connect via an Ethernet cable connected via the time Capsule even (Apple 3 to Time Capsule).

  -My main user account will not connect to my printer (error: "printer not responding").

  -My main user account does not connect to my Apple Time Capsule for Time Machine backups, etc. (error: "no available backup drive - try to save again when Time Capsule 3 to is available").

  However my guest account and a newly created user account (Administrator rights) to connect to the printer and Time Capsule without problems.

  This connectivity of the single user account problem seems to persist if I use Wifi or connect to the Capsule of time directly via an Ethernet cable.  I am baffled by this problem.  I recently reset the printer system, restarted my router, checked the driver print and then through the process of restoring my laptop to a month using Time Machine backup copy (interesting that which helps the OSX restore the functionality of the laptop was able to see the Capsule of time...).  After this restoration, everything worked for about a day.  Then the problems of connectivity (only on my main user account) once again failed.

  I'm no one exert by definition, but I've been a Mac user for many years, so I'm not so much a new user.  I wonder if my network card has problems.

  I would like suggestions for measures to take.  Thank you!

  This procedure is a diagnostic test. It is unlikely to solve your problem. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

  The test is intended to determine if the problem is caused by a third-party software that loads automatically at startup or logon, by a device, by a police conflict or corruption of system files or some system caches.

  Disconnect all devices wired except those required to test and remove all the expansion cards from secondary market, as appropriate. Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.

  Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.

  Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.

  The login screen is displayed even if you usually connect automatically. You need your password to log on. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.

  Test in safe mode. Same problem?

  After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and make sure you always have the problem. View the results of the test.

When I view that with a constant, the number changes when running, but when I want to show graphically with an indicator that just show the starting point and final, it does not update when running.   Thanks for your reply, it wasn't a problem of timing. When I placed 2 indicators, a digital and graphic, I realized that the problem was a simple scale problem. The thing is that the stage can move only 25 mm and it's scale, that I wanted to use but the return by the device number microstep, 500 000 corresponds to 25 mm so by dividing the data into 20 000, I have what I wanted.

  The other issue the initial control wiring works and by the time isn't a big deal what is a single thread more.

• "NMH410 do not have access via the Explorer: name of local device already in use.

  I can't connect with my NMH410 through Explorer. It worked fine, but I must have done something wrong. Device name Local message already in use keeps popping up, even after the removal of the former as links indicated elsewhere. I changed the name of the device backward (which may be where it started). Also devices that were not previously connected Gets the same response. I tried on XP and Vista. I have also a router Linksys (WRT610N) that had me install Home Network Defender. It was a pain to get rid of it and I would not be surprised if this is part of the problem.

  I'm running out of options. I would consider same formatting for all start over, but prefer not because I have to get all my MP3 somewhere somehow... Help, please.

  I suggest you try to do a hard reset on your NMH410. To do a reset, while the device in operation - press the reset for 10 seconds-, and then unplug the cable (keep pressing the reset button) - wait 10 seconds - reconnect the power cable (by pressing the reset button) - wait 10 seconds before you release the reset button. Once the lights are solid, check out the "friendly name" of your NMH410 via the LCD screen. It should be to the default name "Mediahub. Try to use 'Mediahub' on your browser and check if you can access the user interface of your device.

  Seems that this is due to corrupt device packages. Try the following:

  > stop demon

  > remove NMSROOT\CSCOpx\www\classpath\com\cisco\nm\xms\psu\maps\rme*.maps (another copy somwhere)

  > run the command NMROOT\bin\psucli Pei rme - cpf

  > started the demons return

  see if the problem goes away.

  The problem is that HP stopped supporting this particular Windows XP device - in fact, in view of the date that the latest driver Windows XP is out (December 3, 2001), they have barely supported it under Windows XP.

  Upgrades are not absolutely necessary, but if you are like me, I always have the latest and best on my devices.

  I guess you did your upgrade of the device over the air?  I have yet to try an upgrade in this way.  I prefer the old way via the Desktop Manager or using BBSAK (BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife - a pure small utility app).

  You do regularly backups?  If not, it's something you should do, especially in a case like this where you have lost all your settings.  Any upgrade process should offer you the chance to save your device before installing the new OS.  As I said above, I have not yet tried the OTA Update method, so I don't know how this process works in what concerns the backup of your device.  Whence the back up to go, anyway?  And how get it back you if something is wrong?  These questions alone made me hesitate to use the method of the OTA.

  Anyway, as you have discovered, one of the disadvantages of upgrades of the OS is having to reset your third-party applications.  Unfortunately there is no way around that.

  In summary, if your device does what you want it to do and you're not having any problems, ignore the advice of update and leave well enough alone.

  as of June 16, 2011, services hosted in Cisco.com currently operated by LMS, to download the latest software updates and package of the device, as well as the PSIRT information and end of sale/life, have been migrated to a new framework and former services has been removed.

  The following features of LMS have been affected due to the change:

  1. automated software and devices package downloads

  2. the user driven by software and peripheral package downloads

  3 PSIRT and end of sale/life reports

  4 PSIRT and end of sale/life reports offline

  In order to have a patch, you must install the patch available on cisco.com. Please seek

  cwcs33x-win -CSCto46927- 0.zip (on Windows) or cwcs33x-floor -CSCto46927- 0.tar (Solaris).

  Once the hotfix installed, try to download the package once more and install them. Please let me know if it solves your problem.

  Hello.  Has anyone got their device to vCO is upgrade to the latest version (4.2.1)?  We run 4.2.0.1 and tell the vCO to update tab of the device "no update is available".  I also tried to look for update packages that work with Update Manager, but all that is available is the complete ovf.
