  I saw your picture and read your thread. The cable is not a replaceable part. You might have to replace the whole motherboard if the HARD drive does not work.

  Follow these steps and check:

  To take ownership of a folder

  a. click on the USB key you want to learnand then click on Properties.

  b. click on the Security tab, click Advanced and then click on the tab owner.

  c. click on change. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  d. click on the name of the person you want to give to the property.

  e. If you want that person to be the owner of the files and subfolders in this folder, select the owner of subcontainers and objects replace check.

  For a long time, they are now thinner disk HARD, 3mm, it's just a great rate of 12.5 mm to 9.5 mm BUT 4 (or 8 screws) must maintain the HARD drive in place. People can put SSDS to DV7 machine then should be allowed to use the 9.5 mm on a DV7.

  I have a HP Pavilion dv4-2049us laptop, I need to replace the hard drive. The hard drive is a 250 MB drive.  However, I found a replacement on EBay. The drive hard ebay is a 320 MB hard drive. Can I use this 320 MB hard drive in my laptop that originally had a 250 MB hard drive? It (the 320 MB hard drive) will affect the performance of my computer? As do faster or slower?   The vhd in programfiles basis cannot be moved or renamed, if done, xp mode stops at the start.

  To move the files under c, first to boot xp, instead of save mode the machine virtual., turn it off. (settings to prompt the user for action narrow close). Close the machine virtual., and then choose stop. This will remove the vsv file. Do not delete the .vsv file because it contains data if you have not registered in the virtual machine.

  Now, move it "C:\Users\CHRIS.domainname\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows virtual PC\Virtual Machines\Windows XP Mode.vhd" to a desired location.

  Parameters of xp mode open, go to the hard drive 1 setting and reposition the hard drive to the new location of the vhd. You should now be able to start the virtual machine.

  I see what you mean

  If media recovery is all benefits for you, depends in large part of the operating system that you use and whether you have any other way to reinstall the operating system in case of accident - for example if you are using Windows 7, you can easily create your own installation media and use the key of 25 characters of your coa label to activate it.   LR is not a file Explorer. He knows only the disks that you imported photos of.

  If you have previously imported these photos, then later moved into the external hard drive, go to the library files and "update location" Panel on the files that you moved.

  If you have never imported these images on the external hard drive, perform an import by using the option 'Add' (not ' copy') to keep the images on the external hard drive during import.
