But do have access to the Oracle login server to view the alert log... so I was wondering if there are procedures that are very practical or even watch the alert without loggin to the unix system log?

  I too have a MBP 2010.  I installed an SSD and that increased performance.  Consider that as an option.

  You may experience other problems that slows down your MBP.  Before commit you the important cash for a new MBP, examine the potential software problems that may be responsible for the poor performance.  With the SSD, my 2010 works better than the day he came out of the box.

• Satellite MX30: After water spill laptop without the display starts

  I have a portable mx30 satellite and the problem is at some point, someone had poured a liquid any on the keyboard, I think he could have water.

  I know it isn't going to be very useful for you now, because it looks like it's been a while in this condition. • Logging strange problem with PIX

  Since I upgraded to v7.0 on my PIX525 I noticed a weird problem that I have been unable to resolve in what concerns my PIX syslogging. A handful of times a week, I get messages stating that my email gateway trying to send about 4.2 GB e-mail messages to mail servers different.

  Problem is I don't see any indication of this in my mail server logs, my SMTP gateway logs, and my bandwidth monitor is not reported this. We move usually about 1.5 GB per day through our internet pipe so if there was a 4.2 GB extra traffic, I know. I tried to sniff the traffic of the mail server and I do not take into account everything that matches the entry in syslog. I can't find any info regarding no matter where this and I was wondering if anyone has seen this issue.

  I realized a series of images to PDF with full text (with Acrobat 9 Pro, Windows XP) search. I sent it to an American correspondent (I'm French). The problem is that it cannot open any page after choosing an instance in the search result text list. In other words, it gets a list of result, but surprisingly does not open the page corresponding to any selected instance. The index is loaded, after clicking on the pdx file, but the links with pages do not work. Here is the screenshot of what it gets:

  On my side, the pages are displayed without problems regardless of Acrobat Professional or Acrobat Reader version (including the latest). For its part, that they do not. How do you explain that?   I'm in India, but I have my regional framework like American English, so should be identical to your person.

  I think I'm fairly certain about everything that happens:

  -When I extracted your zip using winzip, one of the folder names was newsletter weekly Pathé-brothers

  -When I extracted the same zip using windows Explorer, the folder name was newsletter weekly PathT-brothers

  Notice the change in character - e to T. The extractor default zip in windows 7 is to spoil the name of the folder and therefore Acrobat can't find the file. You can either ask to use winzip or do the hard way in changing all your folders and file names do not use non-English characters.

  I try to use the Report Generation Toolkit for Office into my excel report.

  I have an excel template which I access via the generation of report vi in order to pass a double 2d array.

  The array is passed in the report, however, the vi seems to add a timestamp column.

  Is there a way to prevent the vi to add the timestamp.

  If anyone has the same problem, I just found that if you convert the 2d 2D array of strings table then the vi is more adds a timestamp.

  I keep running into a problem whenever I need a list of the files in order. Instead of 0,1,2,... 10,11, 12... 100, 101... Get list the files in the following order "alphabetical": 0,1,10,100,101... 11 110,..., 12, 120, 121,..., 2, 20, 200...

  I understand that a simple solution would be to list the files by date and I did in the past, but this solution is not available for me this time.

  The time stamp on the files is very sensitive: sometimes I need to manually mess with some of the files after them, thus reseting create the timestamp on them. Another problem happens when I create files too quickly, they end up sharing the same timestamp again in alphabetical order incorrectly. A solution to this is to create files with an artificial delay of a second between the creations. It is very time consuming and not feasible in real-time applications.

  Sorry to be verbose. I wonder if it is a simple way to list the files in a folder sequentially by just using their file name (ending on a #)?
