  I configured Cisco IOS to authenticate via a server RADIUS (Cisco's ISE). By mistakely I put all authentication via RADIUS only.

  Now, I can not connect via RADIUS but unable to connect through credetials local Admin of Cisco IOS and for this reason I am not able to access the privileged commands.

  Is there a way back so this connection by admin (SMAP) would be possible and not on the SHELF?

  You can check that the ISE live authentication records if the user is authenticated by the radius server. Can you use the RADIUS credentials, go to LSE > operations > authentication > records messages.

  Did you write the changes? If this is not the case, the last resort would be to RELOAD.

• Win7/Satellite P200D - Admin Login - problem with keyboard - password is not displayed

  Hi all

  My Satellite P200D has Vista Premium o/s, was about 5 years old now

  Has worked well enough until the last of three months or more and developed a problem of restart.

  Hit restart button and it stops, then after several attempts get it at startup and on the screen that shows the internal PC Repair or Normal startup mode option. The only way that I can get to the login screen is to click on Normal mode as the automatic repair option does not work.

  Has decided to switch to Win7 to see if that would solve the problem.

  Now there is another problem, and it's the login admin password screen. The cursor flashes and any attempt to type password does not visibly show the words you type.

  Also tried and external usb keyboard does no difference

• How to fix the user admin corrupted in Windows 7 profile

  I have only a single user profile with administrator privileges.    I can't connect to it, I got the msg «user profile cannot be opened...» ».   I can boot into safe of all Modes.   After reading a few messages of support online, I started in safe mode and stored in the profile 'admin' and he wrote "the default profile loading" and then connect.    I then try to go to user accounts and 'Add a new user' add a new user with administrator privileges, but this option is not shown to me.  If I try to click on "manage user accounts", it does nothing.   It shows a "shield" of microsoft on the left side of this option.    I know that I can access my documents in SafeMode still, but the need to create a new user to move them.  Help!

  Woohoo!   I downloaded the Microsoft Fix It program, as described in method n ° 3 in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947215 and it ran!  He asked my password login Admin which I had removed and then click on back and he ran fast.  I then logged to my user account with success!

  I had moved my Directory/User original under a new name, then the new connection has come to the top without any of the old files, but I can move them there now with administrator privileges.

  I created the self-registration system that uses the APEX accounts. It contains a public page where users enter personal data, user name, and password. PL/SQL, I created the process page with point process on submit - after calculations and Validations
  The PL/SQL code looks like this:

  This works very well on APEX 4.0 and 4.1. User has been created and the disconnection procedure redirects to the login page. Unfortunately the apex_authentication.login procedure ADMIN connections and redirects to the homepage on APEX 4.1.1 and 4.2. New user of the APEX is created but disconnection never happens, so that the user ends on the home page with workspace administrator privileges. If the user clicks then on Logout logout link navigation works without problem.
  Is it possible to write a PL/SQL procedure or block connections as administrator of WS, creating disconnects, then the APEX user and redirects to the page to logon in the APEX 4.1.1 and 4.2?

Note that when you click on the button to create a user you are logged on as administrator. PL/SQL code in this post is actually the PL/SQL code in the submit page for page 1 processes.

  I can explain why execution logout in the same process as the connection does not work. The login procedure creates a new (random) value for the session cookie and writes it to the table of the session and via htp.p to the browser pick up. When logout()) is run, the HTTP cookie for the current request still has the old value, however. It simply rejects the combination of session id and the old value of cookie, because these do not match the ID of the table in the session. We have introduced this change in cookie value when connecting to improve safety in 4.1.1.

  For the scenario you describe, I'd probably also create a custom authentication and a user table. However, if you really want to use Apex accounts, you should be able to just use apex_custom_auth.set_user ('ADMIN') instead of connect. This option sets the internal username for the current request. If the ADMIN has the privilege to create/delete users, it should be better than the apex_authentication.login much more heavy weight (' 'ADMIN', ' hard coded password "). Just be careful not to create security problems. For example, your login process could be used to delete an account developer/administrator and re - create a user account.

I created two users, a USER1 planning application administrator and USER2 as interactive user. The question is can I connexiona planning with login admin but I couldn't connect to planning as an interactive user. It says * "the Application is in maintenance mode. New connections are not allowed. ' * if pls guide me where is the problem.

  I think that you need to activate your app for all users. Login as admin and go to Administration - Application settings - enable use of this Application for (all users). By default, an application is only accessible for admin users.

• Satellite L355D-S7825 - hangs during the installation of recovery

  My laptop girls. She asked me to restore the computer to factory settings. It is running Vista Home Premium 32 bit. I tried the restore disks 4 times now to pretty much the same results. It will get all the way to the "application final Configuration where it installs the user manual and the office links and then it's there. After reading several posts here with the same problem, I decided to let it sit all night. This morning it had expired. I clicked on the button of the mouse to wake him up. It passes to the logon screen. It shows login Admin and says that the account has been locked, please contact your system administrator. How can this be? It won't let me! My only choice is to restart the system. After the reboot, it displays the screen of the AFC and reinstalls the two same files manual user and links and then it's there.

  I can minimize the screen of the AFC I did and then I changed the power settings to never expire. I have the WiFi off button as requested by AFC screen, as it will not be installed file links with WiFi turned on and the user manual. I don't know what else to do.

  Anyone has any ideas on this? What would you say if I was totally format the HD and then try to restore? Any help would be appreciated.

• Troubleshooting printer offline

  Printer offline can be resolved in 2 ways.

  Quick fix: reboot the router, restart the printer & computer

  -printer offline error can happen again if the router has a dynamic IP address (most consumer routers using dynamic IP)

  Permanent solution:

  1. print and evaluate a network configuration page (steps are to hp.com)

  2 make a note of your IP address of the printer from your print network configuration page

  3 assign your product HP one static IP address:

  Open a new Internet browser window, type the IP address of the HP product in the browser address bar and press ENTER. A web page is displayed, indicating the internal settings of the HP product

  Click the network tab, click the Wireless tab, and then click the IPv4 tab (the menu path may be slightly different, depending on your model of HP product. A new settings page.
   
  Set a manual IP address: your router assigns an IP address within a certain range (called the DHCP range). If you know what is the DHCP range, set an IP address in which the last set of numbers is outside this range, but no more than 254. Keep the first three sets of numbers even. If you do not know the DHCP range, select a high enough IP, like 250 (again, for the last series of numbers). For your router's DHCP range, contact your provider of Internet Service (ISP) or wireless router manufacturer. (USE THE ROUTER CHEAT LIST BELOW)

• Vista connection problems

  I have two logins admin password and login a "standard account", not the protected password.

  I can't enter any text in the admin account password box comes nothing, points etc.

  If I'm on the standard account, log and then enter the password in one of the accounts 'Admin' it works fine accept the password and connect me!

  To the best of my knowledge, the software is fully patched and a "Norton" scan did not detect.

  Could not connect to the admin password in safe mode.

  Ultimately, an engineer very persistent attended my house (I do wish to advertise but if requested I have will provide the names and the manufacturer).

  It has replaced the drive hard as diagnostic failed on the drive, the still apparent fault, replaced the motherboard and keyboard. That fixed it, but then the diagnostic disk has been corrupted and tomorrow will be another visit. Seems a key come back sticking some time and was removed and replaced. So many people on their support line confused by this and similar no software but a duff keyboard!

  Will let you know if it is not fixed.

• Browser Interface Alternative (Hosted Email Security)?

  Is there an alternative to the interface of the web browser for the Hosted Email Security?  Currently, it's a little hard to use interface of the browser for some of the following (but not limited too...)

  1. Very slow page load time
  2. The columns cannot be moved and/or width cannot be adjusted
     1. In areas of audit or junk mail box, the "from" field almost always needs more hovered to see the popout.  Long lists are much easier to post "in brief"... the popout is very inconvenient.
     2. In the boxes for approval all THE fields must be consulted via the popout by placing the cursor on the topic... once again, no other choice 'at a glance'.
  3. Too short login admin time.  (It's adjustable)?
     1. If I am active in the Junkbox, I always get connected.

  I do not yell as much as I'm looking for solutions.  The interface works, but it could be improved.

  On the 'reverse', I like the address book import/export.  It is very fast and automatically removes duplicates.  Well done!

  There is always room for improvement.
