Logitech h340′s headset does not install correctly. "Unknown device".

I use Windows 7 and comes from my brand new Logitech h340′s headset to connect to the PC via the USB port. Unfortunately, the device is not recognized and the driver so do not install automatically, so I can't use my headset.

Here is the message I get:

"Unknown device".

"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) »

Then when I try the convenience of Windows it tells me that 'the best driver for your device software is already installed. Windows has determined the driver for your device software is up-to-date. »

Device type: Bus USB controllers
Manufacturer: (host controller USB Standard)

I tried to restart, but it still does not work.

All Windows updates have been installed.

I really don't know what to do to be able to use my newly purchased helmet.

Before I can give you some suggestions to solve this problem, I want to collect the following information from you:

  • What is the brand and model of your computer?
  • Significant changes have been made on the computer before this problem?

I would like to inform you that, "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)" may occur if the peripheral equipment fails or if the device driver fails.

Step 1.

Step 2.

As all devices have same also have USB device associated drivers. Appropriate sometimes drivers not detected after initial installation so reinstalling the drivers can fix the problems.

You can check after uninstalling and reinstalling USB drivers if you are able to connect. You can disconnect all USB devices and then perform the following steps:

  • Click Startand then click Control Panel.
  • Click system and Maintenance, click System, and then click Device Manager.

 

Note: If the control panel is in Classic view, double-click System and then click on Device Manager.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.

  • In Device Manager, double-click to expand the 'Bus USB controllers', right click on the controller host, click "Uninstall" and click "OK".

Check that if at all, there is an exclamation point on the pilot, it suggests problems with the installed driver.

  • Repeat step 2 to uninstall all items under 'USB Bus controllers'.

Then, restart your computer and Windows 7 will automatically reinstall all USB controllers.

    The question could arise if the redistributable is not installed correctly or corrupted package installed. If you get the number again, you can follow the steps provided below:

    Method 1:

    a. click Start, right-click computerand then click Properties.

    b. in the name computer, domain, and workgroup settings , click change settings.

    (If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click continue.)

    c. click change settings , and then select the Advanced tab click the environment variables button.

    d. the user variables area, click on TEMPand then click change.

    e. in the Variable value box, type C:\Temp, and then click OK twice.

    f. click applyand then click OK.

    g. follow steps 4 to 6 for the variable of environment TMP as well.

    h. confirm this folder C:\Temp exist, otherwise create a.

    i. restart the computer.

    j. attempt to install the application again.

    If the steps do not help, try the next method.

    Method 2:

    If you are comfortable in changing some registry settings, then follow the steps provided below.

    1. Click Start and type run in start search box, and then press enter.
    2. Type regedit and click OK.

    7. Restart the computer.
    8. Check if you are able to install the application.

    If the method does not resolve the problem, continue to the next method.

    Method 3:

    You can also reinstall Visual C++ Library Runtime components to solve the problem.

    You can uninstall all existing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package and install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package 2013 and check if it helps.

    Step 1: To uninstall the package:

    1. Open programs and features, click Start > Control Panel >programs and features.
    2. In the list, find the Package redistributable Microsoft Visual C++ and click on it.
    3. Right-click on it and select Uninstall.

  • Logitech Setpoint does not install correctly, the installation window does not appear fully, why?

    Bought a new solar keyboard Logitech a week to match my Logitech anywhere mouse mx, the keyboard would not unify so uninstalled setpoint (Logitech site instructions) restarted and downloaded setpoint from Logitech, now when I try to install setpoint as the window opens, but only a picture of a mouse appears in the top left corner and 2 points show I can click on the dots to switch between them. I left the window open, thinking it takes a long time to load, but it remains the same even after 20 minutes.
    I did some research on my pc (Windows 7) and we came to this setpint is not compatible... How is this possible if it has already been installed and working fine with the mouse, but not now with the new keyboard (keyboard work without instructions, but miss me the features this set would be to install).

    I'm so frustrated.

    To "unify" devices based in Logitech Unifying receiver, you must at least of Logitech Unifying software.   In addition, the setpoint is compatible with Windows 7.  You may need to download the latest version on the Logitech website.  Please make sure that you get the 'proper' for the 'bit' of your Windows 7 version.

  • Silverlight does not install correctly and be unistal not at all what should I?

    Silverlight has never installed correctly and when I bilel uninstall under programs it shows and white sheet of paper as an icon and no memory used, when I try to uninstall to do a fresh install, because udates won't take it says it cannot uninstall due to the fact that it is not able to match or find the file adiquit.  I can not it turned off my computer so I can put it right and now I can't watch netflix.  Please help :)

    Please see the center of support of Silverlight here: http://support.microsoft.com/ph/12929#tab0 where there are different ways to get help (self-help, assisted support, community & forums, resources, or contact technical support (but the latter is probably costs money unless you meet certain specific criteria)), if you can't find what you need to get their resources , and then search the forum and if you still don't have an answer, post a question in the forums where experts on this program will provide assistance best we can because that's their specialty.  While we try to cover some Silverlight questions here in the answers (even if it's the wrong forum even for that), we do not have the dedicated experts that they do in their own forums.

    As alternative, if this does not help, and I'm not 100% sure since while I used it successfully for hundreds of other programs and the only ones where I had problems and kidnapping special tools were also some deep-seated AV Suites, I never really tried with Silverlight, but you can try Revo: http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html in Advanced Mode and see if that helps.  It often does the trick when the normal uninstall process fails for some reason any.  And because it does a better job, that's how I always uninstall anything I install to keep my cleaner system and do a better job preventing the remnants of disenfranchised (and my experience says that virtually every uninstalled program leaves in the normal way of things behind this Revo intercepts and removes).

  • 6110 driver update does not install correctly

    I had XP drivers for 6110 all-in-one printer installed and running - 09/03/2003 - V 2.4.1.8.

    I went to the page "HP Officejet 6110 all-in-one printer drivers", HP Officejet basic driver, under "Driver - software product (3) installation" saw that - 2009-09-12, Version 4.2.1 (34.23 M) was the last version recommended, so I downloaded to a folder on my C: drive.

    I ran / run the file downloaded in this folder, but the wizzard installation only got during most of the first two of the four elements-ball before he stopped. Apparently, it uninstalled my original driver as the new hardware detected msg appears and calling "Print" of an application has not found the 6110 options of the printer. So I rebooted the system and run the installation file downloaded driver in the same folder again. This time, it appeared to get through most of the four bullets-Articles of the wizzard, and when I tried to print from an application, he finds the 6110 printer, but with a completely different interface. However, when I went to Control Panel / administrative tools/Device Manager and checked the current version of the driver for the 6110, it showed 14/10/2002---2.0.0.134, an older version of what I had previously.

    Since there is no instruction 'on-screen', I got aware of the printer and the USB connected all the time.

    What happens and how can I get the latest version of the driver to install properly? My motive in update was for further selection options to correct paper for the newest Premium HP Photo papers which I couldn't on my original driver version, or (obviously), I see on the old version 2.0.0.134.

    As I did not have an immediate response, I've resorted to trial and error and came up with the same solution you suggest - i. e., downloading and installing the long SW and pilot w/cables etc seconded. He was soft - installing the cables being detached probably being the cure for my original problem in the installation...

    Which leaves me with the same driver I had initially - i. e., 09/03/2003-V 2.4.1.8 (and what seems to be a large number of additional baggage - files in C:\temp, which I don't remember in my original version of work) that is better than going backwards.

    I'll just keep trying by trial and error to get the best quality using ink HP and HP Premium Plus Photo Paper photo prints, as advice from HP for this product of revised on printers before 2009 document is to use a selection that does not appear with the V 2.4.1.8. driver/sw - i. e., select 'Advanced Mode '. But I am familiar with all the things HP has said about this document updated the and I will work.

    I will say that the download page for 6110 drivers need to edit to avoid confusion even for others. It offers three choices for the updated drivers - i. e., 1) HP Officejet basic driver (34MO), 2) HP multi-function products driver Bundle - Corporate only (69 MB) and 3) HP Officejet and PSC full feature software and driver (166 MB). However, after getting the first to install, I found that it installed the old driver and all documents supporting documents and references for the company, small footprint, version - not what is implied in the description and date/version of the first and reasonably inferred from the comment on the second object the corporate package. It seems that the incorrect file name is attached to the first choice, but I did not load the second to see what happen (but maybe I'll do that on a lazy day). Someone should check all three and make descriptions in line with pilots produced on download...

    Anyway, thanks again and I'll mark the issue as resolved.

    All of a sudden my media keys stopped working.
    I did not any changes made to the system installation of VMware exept. I tried to uninstall value added package, erased reg with CCleaner, then reinstalled VAP.
    Have made several times!

    Still does not work! My PC is Qosmio X 300-12 H and it works on Windows 7 64-bit.

    PS so far worked flawlessly (mute, lights, camera, dolby) I don't know what happened!

    I have installed and uninstalled 3 or 4 times. Started and restarted several times. Setup places a shortcut to a program on my desktop. Nothing happens when I click on this shortcut. The printer will print and scan to computer works. What kind of program the shortcut is pointing to and how to operate / or do I need?

    BTW the shortcut in the start menu that points to the same program does not work.

    Hello and hope you can help me. I tried looking for the answer to my problem in the previous posts of the forum but could not find anything useful for me.

    I bought the printer about a month ago, I installed it without any problem (wireless), but at some point, I couldn't use the scan function. I had to use the USB connection to make. I thought about uninstalling resettlement of amd, but several problems have emerged. Now, I can not install all the features, scan function does not work wireless, not to mention eprint.     I understand that you have already uninstall it and tried to install it, but the following steps may resolve the software questions have expressed you;

    1. Hold down the Windows Logo key () on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run, type %temp%

    2. Delete all files and folders in the temp folder. Choose Skip if all pop ups seem to say all files cannot be deleted

    3. The new software - uninstall the printer software Instructions

    4. Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the computer

    5. Follow these steps to reset the registry settings and options for Windows Installer.

      • Hold down the key of the Windows Logo on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run

      • In the Open box, type msiexec /Unregister, and then click OK.

      • Hold down the key of the Windows Logo on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run

      • In the Open box, type msiexec/regserver, and then click OK

         * Note: there is a space between the c and the /.

    Until solve us the problem we need more information on the issue.

    ·        When and where exactly you see this error message?

    ·        Which is the device that is causing this problem?

    ·        The device works much earlier on this computer?

    ·        You did changes to the computer before this problem started?

    Error code 1 mean that the system was not the ability to configure the device.

    However, you can verify which is the device that is causing this problem and post back the result.

    You can also try to update the drivers for the device in Device Manager and check if that helps you solve the problem. Access the link below and follow the steps to update the drivers.

  • 11.0.2 MSI does not install correctly

    So I downloaded the latest version of the software Adobe Reader 11.0.2. I have extraced content and edited the MSI file by using the Adobe Customization Wizard.

    My question is this. When I install it using the command msiexec /i file.msi /qn TRANSFORMS = file.mst it will install Adobe Reader 11.0.0 with all the customizations that were created in the .mst file. Why is it not install 11.0.2? If I run the .exe file it installs 11.0.2 but if I run the .msi file it installs only version 11.0.0. Any help would be great. Thank you.

    The way I apply the transforms and install 11.0.02 after AdbeRdr11002_en_US.exe ,.

    1. apply the following extraction, to extract all the deliverables in AdbeRdr11002_en_US.exe,

    "AdbeRdr11002_en_US.exe - sfx_o""-sfx_ne "

    -do not forget to no space between the path of the folder _sfx_o and extraction, quote is required if--

    for example if the extraction folder path is "c:\abc", then command would look like this,

    AdbeRdr11002_en_US.exe - sfx_o "c:\abc" - sfx_ne

    2. This will extract the following files in "c:\abc."

    ABCPY. INI

    AcroRead.msi

    AdbeRdrSecUpd11002.msp

    AdbeRdrUpd11001.msp

    Data1.cab

    Setup.exe

    Setup.ini

    3 use A11 Customization Wizard to customize Setup according to your need, then save the package to get the AcroRead.mst file

    4. Once you have ready transformations, use the following command to install 11.0.02,

    "msiexec /i AcroRead.msi PATCH =";" Transforms = "AcroRead.MST" "

  • Downloaded Driver does not install correctly

    Print HP 2410 died, but everything on my pc and the set up worked well.   I got the used 2610xi.  I removed the 2410 and tried the disc to instal 2610... She has no cause not windows 7... closed it... went to HP.com and download the driver and 5 updates and then install the driver that seems to be okay and then I did the updates... few of whom said there was no driver for updates to update.   Then I got a message for my PC. I did and then she was installing drivers for, while... and there was a box filled showsing but the last line that says driver failed... but printer showed that he and ready.  I did a scan and it scanned for connection was good... but it would ' t print!  Whenever I hit print it says that I should open a "note" to use this feature...   On the line and went to find this post http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Scanning-Faxing-and-Copying/can-t-install-software-for-all-in-one-photo...   so I followed what was said exactly... I removed the 2610, I unplugged the USB printer cable, I have reboted PC, I extracted the file of the pilot... and he showed extraction... then more NOTHING... hard drive is swirling as something that happens, but he was 15 minutes now... show nothing.    I have a fast modern PC... nothing takes this time who is going to work.    I confirmed from the properties of my computer I have Windows 7 64 bit... my PC and printe rset up has worked well with the 2410 until he broke.    Never had so many problem setting up a printer.  HELP Please

    I downloaded the latest version of Adobe flash player. Otherwise my mac (version 10.9.2.) will not play videos etc on the internet.

    I tried a lot of things. I followed everything and done Adobe guidelines so that I didn't have any version of Adobe flash player on my macbook more. After that I run a clean install of the latest Adobe flash player, but it always stops at 75%, saying: "unable to install".
