• Creating a glow inside the letters

  Hello

  I've always been perplexed with how to do this so thought I would post it here.  I typed some text and then rasterized.  Then, I created an empty layer above it, has put in evidence the text below, then fact the active empty layer and repainted a bright light on the layer.  See below:

  

  However, when I move the glow layer, it is not just float above and inside the letters below.  Of course, I know why and that's because the glow layer is above the text layer:

  

  So basically I want to be able to do is when move this layer glow, I want the light to float on the logo, but stay in the letters, so it seems that the logo has a glow about her.  If I knew how to do this, I create animated GIFs, and even export the files first or anything.

  Can someone tell me the best way to do this in CS4 PSD?

  Just add a Gradient Overlay layer style...

  

  Then choose layer > layer Style > create layer.

• How to get that elusive yellow glow?

  I want to make a short animated logo in which part of the logo has a glow thrilling all in a melodramatic sound plays in the background. I took the following code in the file support and tweeked it. What I would like is a thrilling yellow glow... but all I get is an error, I can't fix.

  You know, if yellow was the outer glow color by default, I wouldn't this problem...

  Just take the word ' color: ' in the filter statement and you should be good:

  It would be cool, but I don't think it was an aspect of the design. The back of my screen to the wall. The size and the quality of the image and the glass, I think, speaks for itself. The black Apple logo on finely designed aluminum case is very well see when switching from an office. We'll let the glowing Apple logos to Mac Air and MacBooks.

• Recommend Blu - Ray burning software

  Hi all

  I can find a BLu - Ray burner, but the software that allows you to burn BLu - Ray still seems a bit sketchy.

  One below looks good, but many say that you must purchase additional software for blu - ray burning.

  I have toast, but an older version and do not want to pay just to be able to burn blu = ray.

  Is it safe to burn it to Blu - Ray in the FCX? This option requires no other software right? The iMac and FCX

  has everything what to do?

  What do you do with your DB? If you need to create sophisticated, you may need a Windows machine. If all you need is a reliable compiler and running something that reliable external combustion of FCPX, Toast gets my nod.

  Burn inside FCPX works very well but it is facing issues like burning DVDs, especially subtle graphics or menu glitches that are difficult to track down or weird user errors.

  From the FCPX help system:

  DVD and Blu - ray

  Use these destinations to burn your project or the clamp to standard definition (SD) DVD or Blu-ray-compatible disk, or to create a disc image (.img) file, you can copy on an external drive or burn to a disc later.

  Note: The destination of Blu - ray does not appear by default. To add it to the list of Destinations, see create and edit the destinations on the part of.

  The DVD and Blu - ray destinations include the following parameters:

  • Output device: Display output devices appropriate to your system including the optical drives and hard drive of the computer. You can use your hard drive to create a disc image (.img) file that you can copy to an external drive or burn it on a DVD media more later.
  • Layers: Displays the available layers on the destination media.
    • Auto: Automatically detects the type of disc you can use.

  I have a laptop HP Pavilion DV7-6B55DX, A1T53UA #ABA Windows 7 Pro computer. 64-bit, brown spots. the watch to have a Super Multi DVD burner TS L633R as the optical drive. He also appeared in my Drive Properties. BUT PHYSICALLY I HAVE A BLU RAY PLAYER. I checked by the disc cover of brand with Blu - Ray Disc and Logo and the Blue Laser light rather than red, see also a Lightscribe sensor. After hours of phone with HP they say I don't have Blu Ray (because tasks Brunettes. say it isn't so). Has had a case of Archbishop telling me that the laptop has been changed by someone, and it came not from the factory with her. I bought at BB sealed. He also went to repair HP for a related problem of the United Nations and they have checked that the laptop has never changed. Mgr. case wants to send me for English to look at and remove the Blu Ray and put in a DVD Super Multi burner, as the tasks of the plant requested.   No, it won't. Not if HP has already confirmed that the drive in your laptop must be a SuperMulti DVD, that's all I would do. So your player works, and it's the correct drive. Not much you can do here unfortunately.
  
  My only thought would be to go back to Best Buy and ask them how it happened. Maybe someone caught the laptop bad. They sell refurb and customer returns. They don't sell them as new of course, but they sell them. Maybe that's what you bought?  Sales were also known to slowly open mailboxes, Exchange parts and then return as new.  Best Buy has no idea because the box seems good and put it on the shelf.  Kind of looks like what could happen to you.  I used to work in detail and took people trying all the time.

  Look at the drive on the computer and check if it has a Blu - Ray logo image on it.  If this isn't the case, you will need to buy a new drive able to read Blu - ray.

• Windows 7 Startup logo does not completely load

  I know this is something relatively minor and without important, but that it concerns me, is because there could be other underlying factors may in time affect the performance.

  I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.  During the sΘquence of dΘmarrage the colorful logo in sight into pieces and then joined to form the glowing logo of Microsoft.  Well, on my instalation stops loading logo as parts are in sight and the DSI logo has never done, instead, the computer just starts.

  I feel a little silly for bringing this place actually, because who could complain about a boot even faster?  However, I would be interested to hear if someone else observed this, and even if there is a cure?

  Hello Mark,

  No problem raise any problem. First, a question, you have a solid state (SSD) drive? If so, its probably beyond the ability of the screen draw the logo before its ready to move on to the next operation.

  Second question: is any loading correctly / functioning normally? If so, I wouldn't worry on this subject. It looks like a case of the computer moving more quickly than the screen can draw. Things to check specifically include the Device Manager (Control Panel |) Device Manager); is there yellow triangles with exclamation points indicating? All devices show that they loaded correctly?

  If they are, even once, I wouldn't worry on this subject. If they don't, then you need to understand what the problem is. Go to the individual yellow triangles and click on those to read error messages.

• Need help with my logo

  I've been at this for hours now, but can't seem to get the same effect as the picture I have attached. How to make a logo text having the same effect? I don't think it's as easy as I thought. In this case I would really appreciate if someone could show me how or point me in the right direction. Maybe in conversation, Skype etc.

  I would like to make your shapes in illustrator in particular glass of Cognac. Illustrator is limited on an inner glow, so that you can reasonably get without having to spend a lot of time.

  

  In Photoshop with some layer styles, you get closer.

  

  But no doubt you must rasterize the layer and dodge tool allows to get more blobbing effect of the white inner glow. This will give a warmer feeling as the light golden.

  

• How to extract a logo imported from Illustrator?

  Hello, I am trying to take a logo I've vectorized in Illustrator and bring it into After Effects. I want to extrude the logo to make it appear 3D but when I "Create vector shapes", it creates the outline but the logo itself is no longer visible. How can I "fill" in the image of the real logo? The attached picture shows what looks like my computer once I have converted the file .ai in outline, and then set the depth of extrusion to 200.

  

  It's really hard to tell on a screenshot, but this form seems to have a lot of paths and many of them look like they are not closed. You need to keep things as simple as possible if you try to extrude with Ray-traced rendering.

  A much better option would be to bring your Illustrator artwork into a 3D application and OBJ file that you can import into a project lite of C4D in AE and build your model 3D there and then export.  You will as well as more options and you will work a lot faster. Blender (blender.org) is a 3D application open source modeling tools with very powerful. This is the way I would start unless you already have another 3D application.

• Blu - Ray via HDMI

  I have a problem playing Blu Ray movies on my LCD TV off of my computer.  The movies play fine on the computer.  However, as soon as I connect my TV via an HDMI cable, a message appears telling me that I can't view the content in the current format.  Did someone having / had the same problem?  Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

• How do you create a rainbow glow in Illustrator?

  I use this logo as a reference, and I want to create something like UM thereon. The logo has a rainbow illuminates the effect I want to use it on my design. In Illustrator, I know how to make Rainbow and stroke fills. I just use the gradient for this window. And I know how to make glow effects. In the appearance of the window or the menu effect, there is an option to glow externally. However, these lights are available in different colors, so I don't know how this can be done.   The discs are of standard size and are not specific model when it comes to ROM SATA DVD/CD/Blu-ray discs. Will work in all things.

  The front plate and the rear mounting of your old drive can be removed and placed on the new drive to adapt to your machine.

  I had a workout FRO a HDX18 2008 and now it works perfectly in my most recent G61. Windows installs the drivers automatically and HP Media Smart is the only Blu - ray playback software that is completely free, anything else must be purchased.
