Hi all
I'm having a problem with the mobility of the extension and CAD.
UCCX 8.0.2.10000 - 41
8.0.2.40000 - 1 CUCM
CAD 8.0 (2)
Phone: 7945G (configured according to other phones no 'contact center' of society, but not 'line' unaffected - want them purely for Contact Center users to connect to their posts)
When the user logs in the phone itself, there is no question at this point.
When the user goes to sign in CAD, they are presented with the following error:
"You cannot connect because the phone is IPV6. IPv6 compatible phones are not compatible with CAD. »
Workaround is to unlock (settings > * #) Network Configuration on the config of IPV6 phone and physical removal.
Settings > * # > 2 (Network Configuration) > 2 (Configuration IPv6) > button 'more' > 'Clear' button > it presents 'clear IPv6 network settings '.
The user can then successfully connect to the CSA.
The problem is that, after his shift, the user logs on to the phone, then when they log in again, the question is again presented and the 'workaround' to manually remove the IPv6 configuration out of the phone must be done all over again (and each time after that too). Arrrrg.
I also noticed that in CUCM > devices > Device Settings > Commond Device Configuration > find > my CDC > the IP address Mode IS set to "IPV4 and IPV6.
A test, I've changed that to "IPV4" only
User logged off phone, phone rebooted, logged in user, has attempted to connect to CAD, same problem. No change! Ahh some more!
Finally, I discovered an alternative (to avoid the issue and the previous workaround)... CUCM, I put devices > phone > find > select > sub-heading ("phone Configuration') 'Extension Information' >"Logout profile"profile of mobility of users and then we do NOT have the issue. Phone restarted, connected, do not connect you, tried all the different States - everything works fine now.
I also found that by setting up a 'line' on the device - the problem is also solved.
HOWEVER, I don't really want to specify a line configured to the individual if possible phones or mobility of the specific user profile.
Is it possible to avoid this? What Miss me to avoid specifying a line or a profile on your phone?
See you soon,.

Hi Brett,
I saw something similar once I installed UCCX 8.x to a customer.
Workaround there had to be a SU installed on the UCCX.
If it helps,

Equium A60: ATI mobility issues

I use the laptop and after 10 minutes a message appears and tells the driver has stopped working and I need a new. Which driver should I download for this stop happening? Ive looked to other people having problems with the infanite loop and its recommended location to download a bios updared will this help?I sent ATI and they said I need to contact toshiba
It is also is so slow when I try and work on it, I've defragmented it but it works still slow. Would this becaure to have 192 RAM?
Thank you for your help
Hello
First of all, I would recommend trying the page of the Toshiba driver graphics card driver:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp
You choose unit and OS and download and install the driver. In my opinion, your device must use min 256 MB memory.
But it is not only the problem of memory. Some software programs and background processes may decrease the performance of the laptop. -
LR mobile issues with recording of simulations of film RAW in Camera Roll
It does not appear that LR Mobile can export to iPhone/iPad Camera rolls with simulations of film. I'm editing in LR CC with Fuji film simulations on the files of the RAF, and they appear fine in LR Mobile (IE, black and white sims film appear as monochrome in mobile LR). However, after recording or sharing a title, they are in color, with apparently of all editions except the film sim card.
Am I missing a setting somewhere?
I asked around, and it seems that the Mobile application must be updated for the latest Fuji cameras. One thing you can do, is the normal method to make XPro2 black and white files. In order to choose a profile of Adobe and use the B & W Panel.

Anchor using JQuery Mobile issues
I'm having a lot of problems with getting the anchors to work properly all using JQuery Mobile Starter/Page template. My instructor gave me a javascript to use, but that also does not work correctly. I tried a lot of different options to acquire to work and correctly and I had no chance. It is a project that is due next week and right now, it's the only thing that holds back me. So, basically, what I'm trying to do is is when you click on reference points that it'll bring you to a new page with various of the city, and when you click on a city, it brings you to the anchor so you can start reading my information.
The first anchor controlled by javascript works correctly, but when I add my second anchor and test it, it will go to the first position of anchors, but a few paragraphs down. If I add a third it will only go down the page a little bit as if he were not moved at all.
A lot of help is greatly appreciated

Satellite 2410-404: General Extension RAM issues
There are two memory two modules (256 + 256) installed on my laptop Satellite 2410-404. There are two locations of memory on my laptop. I want to thank the memory, but I could not find the answers to my questions, but I looked in the manual and to this site and this forum... My questions are
1. can I extend 256 MB memory by swapping the memory module by module of 512 MB 256? Of memory should what type of module I take?
or
2 Schould I change the bars of memory at the same time? Of memory should what type of module I take?
3. What can I do with the old memory modules?
Thank you in advance,
VladimirHello
The fact is that you can upgrade the memory maximum: 1024MB.
In this case, you can use the max 2x512MB memory modules.I've studied a bit and found these compatible memory modules:
PC2100 128 MB (PA3126U - 1 M 12)
PC2100 256 MB (PA3127U - 1 M 25)
PC2100 512 MB (PA3164U - 1 M 51) -
Debug the mobile issue - adb server is obsolete. put to death...
All of a sudden I can't connect FB on my phone to debug. He was literally all of a sudden, worked one day then not the next and I'm not aware of anything.
He began by not finding my phone unless I clicked refresh. He would then find but with a warning that I need Android 2.2 to work (I).
Then, I get a warning that I need air 3.1.0.488 and I would like to install it. I have the android market 3.2.
I then get the following error
Error occurred during the installation of the application:
ADB server is obsolete. put to death...
* the daemon started successfully *.
* the devil still not runningerror: unable to connect to the daemon
I tried all kinds does not.
I tried different workspaces and projects
I check FB for updates, but none
I uninstalled and reinstalled FB (twice)
I uninstalled AIR from my phone and let it install FB 3.1, still no luck and try again brings the same caveat that need 3.1
I tried to install the last adb of the Android SDK, then copied to the Flex SDK 4.6. Still no luck.
If I run the application on the device instead of debugging, then it works, but takes forever to start on the phone
If I publish the application must push it to the device, once more take ages to complete.
Once on the phone everything works fine.
I am at a loss now
Fixed it
tried a load more things but remembered I had changed now allow mock locations in phones development parameters. It was the origin of the problem. As soon as I turned off everything started working again. SO now, I have just put in place all the other stuff that was not the cause of the problem...

Mobility extension message "no configured service.
Hello guys,.
I installed 2 servers running CUCM version 7.1.2.20000 - 2 (Publisher and subscriber) that is replicated via a link on layer 3 and where my gateways handle the connection between the two sites using IPSEC and everything works well, but I'm having a problem when you try to set up the Extension mobility works well.
The connection process works very well, I press the service button and then he asks me user name and pin code, if the authentication success profile for the device that I put above is loaded into the phone, the problem is when I try to do a logout this profile on the phone, when I try to do a logout and press the service button , I get the following message 'no services configured'.
http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/products/SW/voicesw/ps556/products_tech_note09186a00807f8b2f.shtml
To try to set up the service of 'Extension mobility' I properly use the steps described in the documentation:
http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/voice_ip_comm/CUCM/Admin/7_1_2/ccmfeat/fsem.html
Try to solve my problem I found a (Applicable to an older version of CUCM) information where they say:
Note: If you do not agree your device user profile with the mobility of the Extension service, you won't be able to connect from the IP phone. You must complete a manual connect ot section of configuring telephone to Unified CallManager Admin page (granted you have access).
http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/products/SW/voicesw/ps556/products_tech_note09186a00807f8b2f.shtml
And I think that it was configured when I finished number 7 of the step that is displayed in the guide I used to configure the service. Also I try to solve this problem, perform a restart of the based on each node, but I got the same result.
Any suggestions?
Best regards and thank you
I'm sorry that "step 7" in the RFSO was not clear enough.
For "step 7", actually to do twice - one for the physical phone and one for the profile of the device. I guess you missed the part of the profile.
Do the Subscriber on the profile service, you go to Admin CUCM > device > Device Settings > Device Profile. Click on the profile of EM. Then, use 'Related links' on the upper right corner to subscriber services EM.

Tecra M9 - problem of extension Nvidia dual screen Mobile
At work, we use M9 laptops with Nvidia graphics card.
We have these laptops moored on a Mobile extension material
I set the laptop to display to two external monitors that works well, until we want to disconnect the laptop for when the laptop at home.
When they turn on the laptop, it will appear as the second screen and will not be usable.
I was wondering if there are any settings that I can change to make him show the two external monitors when it is docked and display just the screen of the laptop when not anchored.
I am aware that the utility of the device display, but this change does not offer two external monitor only offers internal and external.
We are running Windows XP.
Thanks in advance.
You have the latest version of the BIOS installed?
Have you installed the latest version of the display driver, common and Modules Extension Mobile software? (download them from the Web from Toshiba site)Have you tested with a new installation of XP from Toshiba (by running the recovery plant)?
Maybe that's a problem of driver/software if you have a generic installation of XP is installed. -
Tecra M1 - how disabel Toshiba Mobile Extension?
Hello
I have a: * Tecra M1: Centrino 1 .6GHz / XP *.
I'll start from the beginning...
I have Windows Live Messenger (by Microsoft) on my laptop and every time I logged, a message came and said something like: ' * send error report *' or *' don't send error report *'.I went to the "Windows Live Support Center" and posted a thread to find a sollution. Came a lot of solutions but none worked out of a Windows Live Assistant who said that:
"+ After carefully reviewing the papers you sent us, I discovered that you have an Extension Mobile Toshiba running on the background, this program may interfere with Windows Live Messenger.
He also said:
"+ If in case these steps solve your problem with Windows Live Messenger, I suggest you contact the manufacturer of your computer so that they can help you on how to properly disable the Toshiba Mobile Extension program.
This has solved my problem so I came to you, TOSHIBA. If I have a port replicator, because the screen of my laptop is not working, how can I disable it properly until this problem with Windows Live Messenger stops occuring?
Please could answer you as soon as POSSIBLE?
I would appreciate all your help!Thank you.
Yours in anticipation,
AbdulHey Abdul-Henri,
A few questions:
1.) are you running the factory settings or you have Windows installed from a disk of Microsoft?
(2.) what version of Mobile Extension you have?
(3.) what version of Live Messenger you have?In my opinion, you should make sure that you use the new Live Messenger and the Extension of Toshiba laptop. Later, you can download it here:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download driversThe new Live Messenger you can download from Microsoft directly.

Hunt group type Set up with outdoor extension numbers IE cell phones
With the help of CUCM 9.1
Is there a quick and easy way to create a type of fighter group set up to help on the outside (cell phone numbers)?
The scenario will be a (person who will be on call) using an internal DID to be forwarded to a cell phone of the person oncall this particular week. If no response she pass 4 members to the next line and also try their cell phone. After that it would just repeat the whole process. So far, it looks like a solution is possible with the single line scope perhaps?
Any ideas would be grealy appreciated.
Dave
Hello
I put something like this on CUCM 8.0 a couple of years.
I used the Mobile connection feature as you suggested and it worked ok after some playing with timers.
The main problem was that it was impossible for remote users to disconnect to the hunt group. They could disable Mobile Connect using the IVR, but calls would still ring on their deskphones - if you log on phones (i.e. Extension mobility) before leaving the office this problem should appear.
The other question was how long calls to connect especially if a couple of people in the Group has not responded. In fact, we recorded a message asking callers to be patient, which was played when the call was received first (we were using UCCX to IVR and call transfer).
I hope this is of use.

Hi, in the documentation on the status, I read that some support has been added for mobility issues wifi, like a connection, letting himself fall for a while.
Can we have a little more information about what happens when the functions of 'Mobility' work and what he does. (Change the nearID, the NetConnection instance fires events and he self-holding reconnect?) :)
Thanks in advance.in the case of 'connection dropping for a while', timers, retransmission caps RTMFP to reasonable values for communications in real time, so when the connection is restored, it does not take as long as TCP would potentially be in the view. combined with partially trusted audio transmission (when you use Speex live and unbuffered), arrears of data during the interruption of connectivity can be discarded, making your summary of communication faster and keep it more timely.
In addition, in many cases RTMFP can keep a session upwards when one end change IP addresses. This can happen in many normal, as circumstances when you go from a Wi - Fi connection for cable, or if a wireless base station (another NAT device restarts or) expires your translation, or if you move between base stations wireless connected to the various networks or providers. in this case, the session never breaks down, so your nearID does not change and there is no reconnection. at the present time, there is no event to tell you what happened. the function of mobility of IP address cannot always retrieve a session (usually when certain types of firewalls or Tan are in the middle), but it can recover in many cases, and way more than the zero case TCP manages. :)

I downloaded the extension of issues of e-Learning site and it works very well in a simple html page.
However if I try to use it with a generated model page, if fails, because you have to insert the javascript code in the header and it won't let DW.
Is there a round work for this? You use what DW? Your model has an editable region in the
head called "head"?--

Missed, received, cache placed call logs
Hi all
I'm having a time difficult trying to find the documentation that describes the limitations/parameters for the call connects IP phones themselves. I think missed calls for example are stored locally on the device, and if you have configured the extension mobility you can clear the logs on logout. In addition, if the DN is a shared line, then the calls will not record. I see also of the side CUCM where you can configure on line or via the options of the user the option to disable logging of the calls. But what I really want and need to know how many missed calls will be in the log by default (or placed and received). He is 100, then he begins to replace? What motivates the time-out, a numerical limit or a time limit? These parameters are adjustable in all? The settings or parameters differ by type of device? I'm looking like crazy to find answers to these questions and I can not find them.
Hi Jeremiah,.
Call logs are hard-coded depending on the model of phone in question
Cisco IP Phone 7960 G and 7940 G featured
Maximum supported entries 32 each for the calls missed, received,
and call lists.Cisco 7961G IP phone / 7961G - GE and 7941G / 7941G - GE
100 each for the calls missed, received,
and call lists.
This information is included in the phone specific IP "User's Guide" for each model. Here is the example for the 7942/7962
Missed calls, received calls or calls placed. Each stores up to 100 records.
And 7945/7965;
Missed calls, received calls or calls placed. Each stores up to 100 records.
http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/voice_ip_comm/cuipph/7965g_7945g/7_0/English/user/guide/65enug70.PDF
This can be mitigated to "Missed calls" on the lines of sharing IE; You can enable/disable;
Logging of the calls for shared lines

Description
With the missed call logging for the feature of party lines, the administrator can configure Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration, or the phone user can configure Cisco Unified CM User Options, so Cisco Unified Communications Manager saves the missed calls in the call history list to one aspect of shared specified on a phone line.
Missed calls
The missed calls feature allows the administrator to phone specify if missed calls will be get saved to the directory of missed calls for an appearance of the given line. The following properties apply to the function of missed calls:
The line can represent a shared row or a number from the phonebook. The default behavior records all calls missed on all lines.
Missed calls log operates on a basis of the line. The line can represent a number from the phonebook or a shared row.
If the phone administrator configures a line appearance (share or not shared), therefore not missed calls get connected, calls to this line never get connected in the directory of journal of missed calls, even if the calls end get forwarded due to no response.
If more than one line key is configured on a phone, logging of missed calls is based on missed for each row call log.
Logging of missed calls is controlled by a configuration switch parameter sent to the phone in the configuration file.
The missed call log configuration does not affect the existing or previous call log items.
Calls on lines that are not registered do not affect the Missed Call new status message.
If phone administrator disables the functionality of missed calls on the appearance of the configured line, missed calls get not appear in the call history missed on this aspect of the line.
In addition to these properties, the following properties continue to apply to all calls:
All phone calls appear in the log of calls received, regardless of the line on which they were received.
All calls made from a phone appear in the log of the calls, regardless of whether they have been placed from a primary or shared line.
The function of missed calls gets supported on the following phones running SCCP and SIP:
Cisco Unified IP Phone 7906G
Cisco Unified IP Phone 7911G
Cisco Unified IP Phone 7931 G (SCCP only)
Cisco Unified IP Phone 7941 G/GE
