    Hello

I have a problem with my wireless network card. I often lose the connection with the hub. I read on another forum that it might be a good idea to update the drivers. I've never done this before and I want to make sure I do it correctly. Can you please let me know the exact steps?

    Thanks in advance.
    Kind regards

    Hello

The update of the driver is not difficult. First of all to know what Wlan card you use! This can be checked in the device under network adapters Manager.
Open the tree menu and check the card WiFi was installed.

Then you check the Toshiba driver for the most recent updates page or visit the Wlan card manufacturing site to download the latest version of the Wlan driver.

For the most part this driver package includes the setup.exe file. This file should be run. All that s. But if the setup.exe will fail then you could install or update the driver through Device Manager. There is an option that allows you to update the driver. You must choose the driver download source and the windows updates the old driver. All that s.

  • Windows 7 workstation loses the connection with the Server 2008 "

Server running Microsoft SBS 2008 Standard.  Second location is the use of Remote Desktop.  These workstations are very good.  Only the workstation in the same place loses the connection periodically.  Workstation can reconnect, but never know when it will drop.  The user has to go to the remote location to know that the work will not be interrupted.

This particular configuration has worked very well for a few months.  Long story short about 2 weeks after main tech (which has implemented) is deceased in August 2010, there was a major issue.  No one is really sure of what it is, but everything is back up and running just now lovely annoying drop except for this connection.

I'm scheduled to go on Tuesday.  This is a seasonal business and people we're patient but kind of necessity to deal with this finally.  I am pretty well convinced that this is not the Peachtree program causing the problem.  However, the error indicates that Peachtree is not installed on the server, and yet it is, obviously.  That is why we believe that the connection has been interrupted.

All this makes sense?  Someone knows the effects of any automatic updates of end of August 2010, which may have caused a situation like this?  I know that currently they don't dare to update Java or something does not work well.  Thought, that you may know of something that happened at that time that could cause this.

  • HP Office Jet Pro 8620: IMAC loses the connection to the printer

Computer do not print and seems to lose the connection to the printer. I deleted all printers and made a new connection to the printer. Printer address 192.168.0.14.  IMAC later loses the connection to the printer again. I look at address on printer and now is 192.168.0.15. Its done this several times. So why the printer continue to change its address? Is it possible to put it permanently?

Think I fixed it now. Problem was that I also had to set the Configuration of DNS address. Of course although computer knew the address of the printer, he could not find the server (i.e. the router) don't understand everything, but seems to work now.

Went to the printer the webserver integrated with my Web browser. On the network, wireless 802.11, IPv4 configuration tab, I already had the manual IP, the subnet mask and the default gateway. I need to go to the next Section under the DNS Configuration, select "Manual DNS Server", then fill in the news for "Manual preferred DNS server".

AllOf the above address were extracted from the information sheet, you can print directly from the front panel of the printer. My son who is more Apple savy than I am, said that he did not understand why I had to put an IP address manual for printer even when that she would have remained the same.  I don't either, but just know whenever IMAC my wife lost the connection to the printer IP address had changed.  My router is built with the Modem cable provided by the company. It is perhaps part of the problem.

So no, it seems to be fixed number. So if you set a manual IP address, make sure that you also specify a "preferred DNS server"

  • Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit on a Dell Studio 140g running a NETGEAR WG111v2 54Mbps Wireless USB 2.0 adapt and loses the connection permanently

I have a problem with this program-it very often loses the connection, so with any live video as a conference, he fall causing problems with, naturally, the frustration on both sides. The router is in another room may be just 25 feet away maximum which the signal passes through 1 wall and offered "free of charge to AT & T TV and Internet clients" so a technician said as saying "it's just a basic router", but the signal goes further to a TV, another 20-foot more away and had no problem connecting unless it is with the AT & T network itself. Even if he reconnects automatically most of the time, but sometimes I have to manually reconnect which can take of time also a lot of time. I had another SATA driver and separate, which was working fine then one day abruptly stopped and now that the driver to reconnect and I was forced to use the old and original driver and I'm back with the same problems. I can't find where it is that I found this other, independent driver, even with a search, and now I have no idea how to solve. I tried all suggestions with Microsoft Fix It without modification done or as it says "no changes have been made, your driver is up to date" and I have tried these suggestions and now I'm here. I also went to CNET to search for a driver, but not luck to everything I've read about the drivers there. Finally, I intend to go with another program called Easy Wifi Radar and I don't know what would be better to use Wifi adapter and since I have a few target (store) [s http://www.target.com/s?searchTerm=wifi+adapter & category = 9975894% 7CAll % 7Cmatchallpartial % 7Celectronics & lnk = snav_sbox_wifi + adapters] I guess I'll take the adapter on their part and their site search , I see a lot to choose gift cards, but who would work better with my system and this program of "Easy_WIFI_Radar"? Any suggestions? Maybe a better deal with another source of in-store/online Wifi adapter?

    Hi David,

Thanks for posting on Microsoft Community.

I understand that you have connected the external NETGEAR WG111v2 USB adapter to work with wireless internet and the connection is intermittent.

Maybe it's because the wireless USB card driver and it is perhaps because of the hardware (USB wireless card) itself.

Try the suggestions below and see if it helps.

    Method 1:

You can try to download the latest Firmware utility from Netgear support site and check if it helps.

Check out the link below to download the latest firmware for NETGEAR WG111v2.

    http://Downloadcenter.NETGEAR.com/en/product/wg111v2#searchresults

    Method 2:

Dell Studio Hybrid D140G may come with the card wireless in the generation in it, you can try to disconnect the external USB NETGEAR WG111v2 adapter and try to connect to the network card wireless wireless generation.

To connect to the wireless network, please visit the link below.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows/view-connect-available-wireless-networks#1TC=Windows-7

    Method 3:

Try disabling your antivirus software that may block the incoming connection wireless.

NOTE: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Hope this information helps, please reply with the status of the issue for further assistance.

  • I lose the connection during the closing of the CMD

    Hi guys,.

I configured a port for stand-alone listening as follows:

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \Java\jre6\bin > java-Dapex.home=D:\list-Dapex.images=C:\images-jar D:\apex.war
    Subsequently,.
If I close the CMD, I lose the connection, and I have to reconfigure again.
If I open APEX locally, I mean using the shortcut 'Get Started of Oracle Database 11 g Express Edition', then I lose the connection that uses the default port for the listener, it is 8080.

After that I configured the listener that I got this message on the CMD

    MinLimit = 1

    Hello

I don't know, I got your question right, but I'll try to find a solution anyway.

If I close the CMD, I lose the connection, and I have to reconfigure again.

This is what happens when a shell is complete - all related processes will be stopped as well. However, if you have an apex - config.xml in your apex.home you should not have to set up your listener APEX every time your departure, but it would be to reuse an existing configuration.

If I open APEX locally, I mean using the shortcut 'Get Started of Oracle Database 11 g Express Edition', then I lose the connection that uses the default port for the listener, it is 8080.

Now, if you have XE on the (local) computer running while you have your APEX listener running in stand-alone mode, you probably have a port conflict: by default, both APEX listener in stand-alone mode and built-in PL/SQL gateway (EPG) use port 8080. The EPG is enabled as a web server for APEX in XE after a new installation, the APEX listener would be an alternative in this case. You can stop the EPG, or reconfigure a server two web to use a different port, if you want them are parallel.
To change the port used by the auditor of the APEX in stand-alone mode, you just add another parameter to the commissioning: -Dapex.port = 8888 and you're done.
To change the port used by the EPG, connect as sys and run the following

    EXEC DBMS_XDB.SETHTTPPORT(8888);
    COMMIT;

If you want to disable the EPG, simply on the port * 0 *.

After that I configured the listener that I got this message on the CMD

That's what it should look like.
No, your subject is 'lose the connection when the CMD closing', I guess you're looking for an alternative solution. You can run the listener APEX as a Windows service, even in stand-alone mode. To do this, you create a batch file, for example

    %JAVA_HOME%\java -Dapex.home=D:\oracle\APEX_Listener\_home -Dapex.images=D:\oracle\apex_4_0_2\images -Dapex.port=8888 -jar D:\oracle\APEX_Listener\apex_listener.1.1.2.131.15.23\apex.war >>D:\oracle\APEX_Listener\apex_listener.1.1.2.131.15.23\my_apex_listener.log 2>&1

Note that you will need to set JAVA_HOME as property system or replace the call with the absolute path to your JDK or make sure that the JDK is in your PATH variable.
Of course, you can and should change the directories of other institutions to adapt to your system.
Then, create a Windows service, for example [url https://iain.cx/src/nssm/] NSSM (free) or [url http://support.microsoft.com/kb/137890] SRVANY (MS, non-free), that starts your lot as a windows service.
The order for the creation of this service using NSSM might look like the following

    nssm install APEX_Listener D:\oracle\APEX_Listener\apex_listener.1.1.2.131.15.23\startup.cmd

You can subsequently change the service properties, for example to change the startup mode to "Automatic" to "On Demand.

I hope that answers your question. If this isn't the case, please point me in the right direction.

    Thank you

    Udo

  • mail loses the connection (ssl, imap) from El Capitan. Still works with Thunderbird.

Since the update to El Capitan, mail.app loses the card connections. Unlike a similar question here, mail load my new mail first, but then when I try to delete emails, or put them in a different folder, it displays a point exclamation and after a minute or two puts mail in the Inbox. After a trial of second (or fifth or tenth), it works.

This happens no matter if is iCloud or another card account. And - the same account works well with thunderbird (same settings ssl).

So it's certainly dependent on the mail program, and it started with the update of El Capitan.

    Any help?

Maybe my post to Re: recurring IMAP connection errors will help you.

  • WRT110 loses the connection when the second laptop connects

A laptop can be connected to the router at a time and have absolutely no problem. The problems occur when a laptop computer is already connected to the router and another tries to connect to the router as well. When this happens, the router completely loses its connection to the internet. The only way I found to fix it is to unplug it and restart the router, which I wouldn't have to do whenever we want to use the internet. Sometimes it takes restart once or twice to make it work. Does anyone have an idea why this is happening, or what I can do about it?

I had this problem for a long time. The only thing I found to help combat this problem is to make sure that if you are using Vista, IPv6 is disabled. For some reason when my roommates of desktop, laptop or my laptop has this one it will crash the system. To do this in Vista

    1. click in the Panel

    2. click on view network status and tasks or connections network if you are in Classic view

    3. click on manage network connections

    4. right click on your wireless or wired, but you are connected to the router and go to properties

    5. click on IP Version 6.

    6. click on ok.

7 reconnect the device to the network.

Initially it may crash the system. Let the network 5 minutes to try to get back its own. If this does not work then go ahead and unplug and plug back into the router. After the first crash for me, it is not happened again.

I hope that this will help with some of your problems. It's the only thing I could find to combat the problems you describe. In that case, we are able to run my laptop, his laptop, his office, an xbox360 and a blue-ray on the network without a problem player. Good luck and if you have any questions please ask!

  • Apple TV constantly loses the connection to the remote

I have the latest version of Apple TV and remote control (touch screen version). The TV will say that he has lost the connection to the remote control, and then a second later he will say that he has restored the connection. This is repeated every 10 to 30 seconds.

It was before the last software update and still happens after him.

Sometimes even if the remote is fully charged.

  • Airport Extreme loses the connection to the home network

I have an Airport Extreme (AE) with Cox Internet in my house. Version AE 7.6.7 since the end of may 2016, I lost WiFi connection radomly. I had a Cox technician out who finished just change a 'filter' in our neighborhood who feed on other Cox at the reception. He said this analog filter had to be upgraded to a digital filter.  Despite this, my WiFi kept down again. According to other Threads of the community, this problem was solved by putting the IPV6 in AE parameter for "link-local only.  I did this and still it is falling.

According to a recent post in support of Cox:

Most of the routers to retail, especially those produced in recent years, are completely compatible with IPv6. Cox has determined that the Apple AirPort Extreme routers, including Time Capsule models, may know Internet connectivity issues when running the firmware released before May 25, 2016. For more information, contact Apple Support.

To a Moderator: Apple will have an AE update for this problem?

The moderators of the forum are not questions on a user to user support forum, so don't expect a response from an Apple employee.  Please contact Apple Support directly if you wish to speak directly with Apple.

Then, Apple has already released the new firmware... 7.6.7 May 25... so it's not the question that you reference in the statement on the website of Cox. Cox was referring to a firmware sooner, like 7.6.4, for example in their declaration.

We have seen a number of messages from other users of Cox, who reported that the new firmware has resolved connection issues that existed before.

To find out where the real problem may lie, I suggest that you connect a computer (with the wireless turned off) directly to one of the LAN ports <>- on AirPort Extreme for a few days and keep an eye on the connection.

Post back your results. Then, we'll know if you have a general Internet... connection problem that could be a problem of modem... or a single wireless issue.  In all cases, it will help if you provide the model number of the AirPort Extreme you have... and... he make and model number of the modem you are using at the moment.

Apple TV 4 can't a reconnect my iTunes on Mac mini home shared. This happens every time after that Apple TV sleeps or turns off. He "sees" my iTunes library, but never managed to reconnect - gear wheel rotates just forever.

  • TCP server loses the connection

Hi, I tried searching for this and not found the exact problem, even if I'm in trouble he described.

First of all I want to do is simple data acquisition with a couple of photometers, sensors and thermocouples.  I have this game on a central computer and I'm using labview to send data to a tcp port and from there another program accepts data using sockets and stores it on a remote computer.

The problem is that, once a few hours of the central computer with all the instruments appear to be due give up in the network.  A strange thing is that it only seems to happen with the photometric measurements, which are simple analog voltage readings and not thermocouples - or at least that's how it has been for a few days.  The mainframe is still relatively sensitive and can be crazy, but no Internet and data can be harvested (socket.receive does not work).  I turned off all firewalls and antivirus interference I could think.

    Any ideas?

Edit: My band-aid fix was to put the SRP on a more powerful than the mainframe computer, because it can be a question of resources?  I am also the two pending Babysitting until I can get a real difficulty.

As Mark mentioned, you not close your connections. The operating system can only maintain a number of connections, and when you reach that number it accepts no more until the closure of the existing ones. Each time waiting on the listener feedback a new connection, which is a created connection that you should close when the communication ends. Instead you're down the reference, as there is no way to close it. The way you wrote it, you must close the connection inside the loop, and then close the listener after the while loop ends.

That said, are you sure that's how you want your structured code? You must accept a single connection on each of the 7 ports + until you accept another connection on any one of these ports. It's an unusual arrangement.
