  Hello

  I just found out that my Lightroom 6.3 catalogue is weird. Catalog initially was imported from LR4 last summer and worked well.

  It all started when I decided to see if I have "loose photos" in my repository and made sync from the top of the folder hierarchy in Lightroom. He said I have something like 35 ~ photos that would be added to the catalog and bit removed. I thought that it is quite likely to be. When I proceed to the import dialog box, LR showed me images of 26000 ~ in my catalog as previews to import (and only the new files have been selected).

  When I had all the folders a synchronized by selecting them manually I found a few free to be added or removed files that worked well. I also noticed that some file had same behavior as described above (but with a smaller number of files expected to be added, but then import list all the files in that folder). It turned out that these problem files contained. MOV or. Different cameras AVI files. Earlier version of LR had no problems with these files reside in folders, they have simply been ignored (and if I remember correctly, some of them had been imported and viewable in LR). Now, it seems to be a different story.

  Then I proceeded to delete these files from movie files in Lightroom (via Explorer, as they were not visible in LR) and re-sync the files. For individual folders which worked ok, but even once, when you try to synchronize the catalog from a top-level folder, same problem persists. I tried returning a few older versions of catalogue LR6 backups, but all the same behavior, so corruption took place in original import of LR4, or I tripped to bug LR6.3. (Discs were checked, and they are ok).

  It seems that

  -Latest version of LR is unable to manage video files this older version was able to manage (at least LR4, I jump the LR5), hence problems with the import dialog box.

  -There is a bug in LR, or my catalog seems to be corrupted.

  Or any other possible explanations? Anyone else had problems with LR does not accept not not video formats which were later ok?

  And is there a way to recovery my catalog? Or y at - it had a bug with catalog synchronization (I tried looking for one, but did not find any notes about such)?

  Part of the problem seems to be resolved, after a long search on Google.

  It seems that LR 6.3 did a bug in the management of the video format. There is a difficulty that I found on another forum (Lightoom 6.3: after update, I can't open any video file). Curiously, this solves my problem, even when my supposed to be "up-to-date" LR 6.3 Solution is to replace the video related .dll file in the Lightroom folder, according to the instructions in Adobe KB (defunct "Sequencer" error when using the video file of the functions of).

  Now it seems that the catalog synchronization runs smoothly again.

  Check the compatibility of your connector with IOM 11 GR 2. Create the instance of the application and provide everything except OOTB values contact name of the object as the name of your OID of the resource object. Save and publish the sandbox. Re-run the catalog synchronization task and you should be good.

• Sync mobile LR catalog on two computers?

  So, I have my office with my hard drive storage in what I have all my photos to empty. I also have mobile LR synchronized in this catalogue. I am trying to open LR on my laptop (both are Windows btw) and look at catalogs synchronized with this computer, but all I see is the ability to move catalogs and my old catalogs from when I was using my laptop as my main. Is it possible to establish how far I use my desktop computer as my synchronized catalog it and view these catalogs on my laptop without having to make file transfers? I can see the images on my Galaxy s7, as all catalogs appear there, but for the life of me I can't understand how it worked. My apologies if this has been asked before, I couldn't find a specific answer to this.

  I'm never home and my laptop does not have a lot of space - could it be developed with smart insights? Still, I don't know what I'm doing here and I hope you all can help.

  You cannot synchronize 2 computers the way you want. From your desktop, you can create collections with Lightroom that can be shared and then you can work with these images on your mobile devices. In addition, with your laptop, you could go to adobe. Lightroom.com and have access to these collections. But you cannot access catalogues on other computers using the cloud. The catalog must be local to the computer running Lightroom.

• LR mobile is not synchronize all my collections

  Lightroom is not syncing all the collections that have the sync mode. What is strange is that throughout the time that they have been synchronized and now the collection is here and no pictures in them. I even made new collections and moved the pictures in them and they either sync. I just reinstalled the app hoping it would work, but the collections are still empty. This affects only some collections. other collections appear fine and photos I add appear them immediately. any thoughts on what I can do?

  Could you make sure missing images in the Collections are actually not missing on the Lightroom Catalog(on your Computer).

• Lightroom mobile suddenly stopped synchronization

  Delete all the images in sync collection and adding them again

  Re-install mobile Lightroom on iPad

  Tried an another catalog with only 4 images synchronization

  On lightroom.adobe.com, he said: you have no specimen synchronized.

• Windows Mobile Device Center synchronization problem

  I recently developed a problem syncing my phone Windows Mobile 6.1 with Vista 64-bit Home Premium WMDC.  I would appreciate any idea or a reference to help me solve it.  I'll give you only a capsule summary chronological here to keep this short note.

  -There are synchronization three weeks was normal.  No change in system done other that what is described below.
  -Signed with the local provider (Comcast) for Exchange and Sharepoint hosting services.  They ran an installation script that changed by the Outlook 2007 adding the exchange server profile and who knows what else.
  -Phone sync is no longer with the PC; only with their Exchange Server.  They claim that they did nothing to make (their inventory of skills for Windows Mobile does not exist).  WMDC still sees the phone as a guest.
  -Spent the weeks then 2 + talk with Comcast level 3 troubleshooting, manufacturer (HTC) phone and cellular service provider (Sprint).  All to various help desk levels.  I spent a lot of time searching for answers on various blogs and other credible sites for answers.
  -Journal of phone calls said that the error is 0x8503001f which says that my profiles are out of sync.
  -One of these help professionals tells me its something to do with my user.sdf file.  This file is not present on my PC.
  -Sent in notice of cancellation to Comcast, which is still in the queue for processing.
  -Sprint technical support abandoned and sent me a replacement phone.
  -New phone has the same problem.  The problem is clearly with WMDC, file or a registry problem.  Utilities that I find on the internet for the problem works only with 32-bit operating system.
  -J' tried to uninstall and reinstall WMDC and the other fixes I found on TechNet and other Windows Mobile sites.  Nothing works.

  I'm not a developer, but I'm a power user who is used to run organizations, so I'll have intelligent conversations with these people.  They are perplexed and so I am.

  Cool... I have also encountered this kind of error long back... Follow and fortunately we it will be solved.

  A problem with the constraint or the Index after the upgrade of the catalogue in 11 GR 2

  Remove the constraint, if available, otherwise check index, if found the drop... Rest is history...

  First, check the BRL_U1... It can be constrained or an index on the catalog database.

  May be it's problem... the compulsion was abandoned during the catalog migration process, but the corresponding index has not been abandoned.

  The catalog DB:

  -Removal of the index

  SQL > connect rman.

  SQL > select * from user_constraints where constraint_name = "BRL_U1";

  SQL > select * from user_indexes where index_name = "BRL_U1";

  SQL > drop index BRL_U1;

  Once it will be deposited now connect to the production database to connect to the catalog and re-synchronize... It should work like that...

  RMAN target / catalog rman/password@catalog_db_name

  RMAN > catalog resync;

• Office of Lightroom & LR Mobile show that synchronization is blocked to 558 photos.

  I did an initial sync of my entire roll several months ago and then allowed the camera on my iPhone.  After the holidays, I synced again, but the Office continues to show 558 images always sync.  However, it seems that all the images have sync completely, but still showing that 558 photos need to sync.  There is no collection on the iPhone showing an active sync.  I saw further discussions with this same problem and tried to follow the instructions to remove the sync.lrdata.  However, I can't get to this file to remove.  I'm running ESES El Capitan on an iMac with Lightroom/Photoshop CC.  I'm ready to set up automatic synchronization and synchronize new with images of Thanksgiving and Christmas, but don't want to start or set up automatic synchronization until the cache is cleared.  I hope someone can help.  Thank you

• How to prevent my organizing EINIRE of Revel catalog synchronization.

  I use the EP 13 Evaluation Version.  I have an iMac 2009 Mavericks 10.9.5 running.  Yesterday, I shared a video test of Revel.  Last night, I checked organiser a little more and had terrible problems.  After that I tried to get the Organizer to access album Revel test with test inside video, the organizer has crashed.  He took an inorginate of time amount to access a small video test.  I stopped the program.  Organizer then crashed on launch every time.  I had to use the tips in this article of organizing elements crashes at launch to recover.  The only way first make it work was to create a new catalog.  I repaired then the original catalogue, but failed.  Then, I changed the default settings and authorized online services.  The original catalogue then worked.  I tried again to access the video of test on Revel.  This time I didn't stop the process, but even if run.  Finally, it worked and the organizer do crash more.

  I was shocked today to receive an email saying that I had exceeded my quota of 2 GB.  Test video was only 86.9 MB.  On verification of Revel on the web for the first time, I had only checked the link shared album of test, I found that everything in my catalog was being transferred to Revel!

  I didn't know this.  When I first connected to Revel in Organizer I rose a pop with "1, 2, 3" as the title saying that it was a process in 3 steps to start.  There are 3 pages in this window, I recall, and I don't say anything about synchronizing all to Revel.  Now if I disconnect and connect again I get this window, and it disappears once I log in.

  I unchecked the box in Online accounts in preferences "Automatically access all media my account online catalog", which I now see is now checked!  I stopped the officer on the page and it came out.  I've disconnected and insert it again.  Check the preferences page again, this checkbox is now checked and the agent runs again.  The switch for the agent box can once again 'on '.

  It is a nightmare.  If I remove all the album test except for the video test, how do I know that everything in my catalog is not deleted?  If the media catalog is deleted, there's no guarantee that the underlying files be ransacked for this?  Feeling rather scared right now.

  I must say that EP 13 is quite impressive and a good editor, but I've been very disappounted to find the Firewire capture was abandoned in 13.  On the forums, there was a program called Lifeflix which has been mentioned can do, but this is not shareware, so I can not try to check if the quality is the same as my old PC with Pinnacle Studio 9, which is better that what I can get on the mac, even an old copy of iMovie HD 6 I managed to download It's much better than the horrible iMovie.

  I am also impressed by the system help or lack of.  Yes, Adobe has a lot of help available, but it is on the Web!  When you go to the Help menu and click PE 13 Help you go to the site!  This I expect to free programs, but not for paid programs.

  I am in two minds about to buy 13 given PE it captures Firewire.  I can not count use this camcorder, but I thought EP 13 could do everything and define myself for the future.  I found a link to a trial version of 12 EP, that I have not yet installed.  I don't know if it will work with my PE13 of the trial, or if I can make it work at all.  12 PE works with the Mavericks and Yosemite?  And is it really worth wile buy it?  I don't have answers to these questions.  I'm going for a duel with linux start to run kdenlive which can make the Firewire capture, to test the quality.  I am impressed with the clip of PE 13 rotation function, which was more of a point, much better that kdenlive.  Another point in EP 13 is that he will separate scenes in a movie, once again like Kdenlive.

  I'm leaning towards the capture on the PC, containing the captured video to the mac and the other edition with EP 13 or kdenlive in a virtual machine.  Not sure if EP 13 worth it in light of all this, and I don't know if I'll do pretty video with my new camera to justify the creation of Blu - ray discs.  If PE 13 seized FireWire, I think that I would have said yes and bought.

  Sorry for the long post, but I really want the problem of Revel, sorted and I need all the rest out of my chest.

  Thank you very much for this.  I deleted everything outside the test video to Revel, and everything in the catalog has been cut.  Subsequently, I found the option not to do.  He was not quite in the catalog anyway.  I have since imported from iPhoto.  It works now.  I think that I have will get rid of it and stay with not much in the catalog.  Not very impressed by the Organizer, without file names of the pictures. iPhoto import does not import iPhoto event names.  At least the junk of Revel went.  I don't use Revel again.  He is useless Revel asking you the title of the film that you load, since it is never displayed!

  Just bought the iPhone 6 more and downloaded the LR app on the new phone.  It shows the synchronized collections and has a dark spot for every picture in this collection, but there is no pictures and no charge. I think that checked all the settings to enable them.  what Miss me?

  Never mind... I was disconnected (e) mobile LR on my laptop. Everything works fine again.

• Mobile LR catalog for external hard drive

  I'm new and in the process of learning LR.  Currently, all my photos are stored and developed in my laptop, but it becomes too much for her hard drive.  I am thinkinng to move all of the LR catalog to an external hard drive.  Could someone please give me some advice how to proceed safely and also how to point LR to its new location, when I open the icon.

  I am pleased to announce that the project has been successfully completed. Thanks to the advice of everyone. That's what I did:

  Some new pictures, asking them to be stored in a subfolder created in the new external hard drive G: has imported. This issue, namely "My LR Photos", is intended to store all my photos in LR in the future. I thought that this will force the G: drive is displayed on the Panel in my LR records. He did.

  Then, in the LR on the Control Panel folder, I moved each subfolder of C: drive for the new folder photo in G:. All photos moved smoothly with their predetermined data intact. None should be reconnected to the original sound.

  I relaunch LR several times to make sure it works and you have no problem at all. It seems to work faster now too.
