  This could be due to your double-click speed, look on your control panel and go to the mouse. There will be a tab for with double click on set your speed to what you want and test on it fake file.

  Hi Ciroamos,

  I understand that you're having trouble to open a document Pages 5.6.1 on your MacBook Pro.  Have you recently updated or changed on demand?  Have you tried to open a Pages document on icloud drive, in addition to your computer? One thing I would try is to use Time Machine and go back to an earlier date and see if you can open a document.  If you can't, then you must uninstall the application Pages and re-download from the Mac App Store.

• Excel 2010 does not open .xlsx files by double click in Explorer... photo mgr open

  I am running Windows 7 since 12/2010 and have been using office 2007.  06/05/12, I installed office 2010.  Since that time the new excel will not open .xlsx files in Explorer by double clicking on the file name... Excel 2007 does that very well.  Instead of excel opens, Manager of photo is trying to open up.  I tried to change the default program assignments, but the only options are Office 2010, Microsoft Works Spreadsheet and Microsoft Open XML converter.  No does the job and as I mentoned, if I take of Office 2010, it tries to open Picture Manager who can not read the file.  There is no good Excel option to the association of .xls, it shows Excel as the deafult.

  This image is only a little more than 3 megabytes.  It's not quite large for a true CR2 file from your camera - they are normally over 10 megabytes, right?

  The raw file seems to be truncated.  Photoshop does not open, and the free software IrfanView will convert only the upper left quadrant.

  

  Regarding the recovery of the images, at least in part, you may be lucky...  Canon's Raw files contain an embedded JPEG preview image.  It is smaller than the size of the full pixel of the camera and in front in the file.

  Photo Viewer Windows 7 or the free software IrfanView will extract the JPEG embedded all of the image of the figure of the cat of this file.  You may use these tools to extract previews for use.

  I use Windows 7 Professional for a few years now and I've always been able to open the zipped files.  Suddenly now my pc does not have a program associated with the opening of the zip files.  Something has changed and I have no idea of what has changed.  I asked this question before a Microsoft.com site, and he sent me to a site that was not Microsoft where I tried to download 7-zip which worked.   I've updated to 9.4 ACR the other week, and now when I select multiple files (.) NAVE) in the deck, it opens the files individually in ACR, rather than have them all in a vertical window on the left of the screen of the cab.
