M1000e send much alarm power supply

Since the update of the firmware of MCC to 5.12 my M1000e sends this alarm several times per hour:

Power supply 3 functioning normally

I spent PSU-3 with POWER-4 block already, no change. All 6 power supplies are fine, 1 and 2 are online, 4 to 6 are on standby and 3 is go to sleep and online. How to configure to send only real alarms?

E5-2660

What you see is due to enabling a dynamic commitment PSU on the M1000e, the PSU will engage and disengage to meet the power requirements by the chassis. The commitment of feeding generates messages that you see. There is nothing to be worried about, it works as expected. Now because it looks like you have it set up for alerts, you will continue to see them coming, but there is a update down the road that will allow you to control the PSU Audit alerts / information to stop notifications.

Let me know if this helps to clarify the situation.

  • Table 3646 power supply problem

    Hello

I can't get power table 3646A to update the voltage continuously with output trigger toggle, I looked at the Vi provided by this site but, the program works as a time control. My goal is to hang the PS with a PID loop at a temperature controlled heating, so I need to vary the tension of a sensor-based and updated updated according to the needs. Is there a way to bypass the output to toggle control or is it a separate labview program that can change settings on the fly rather than the start and stop.

    Thank you very much!!

The reason that he died, it is that you tell it to do.  Look at what your program does: it initializes the power.  Initialization sends a command 82 h with the data value 02. This sets the power to command with the output OFF remotely! Then activate you the output.  Then, you set the voltage to the desired value.  Immediately after, the while loop iterates and the power comes back again.

    1. do not place a while loop to run forever.  Do not use the button abandon in the toolbar to stop your VI.  It's an escape for use during development hatch, where a program does not run correctly.  Put a stop button on your façade and also use stop the loop.

    2. do not use seqeuence structures if not necessary.  Your program will work exactly in the same without it.  LabVIEW uses data streams to determine which part of the program will then run.

    3. you should learn about state machines.  They give you a lot of flexibility to do this kind of things you are trying to do.

    4. until you learned how to use a state machine, move the initialization and activate spuuly screws outside the loop.  They should only run once.  Put configure VI it inside the loop.  Also put a wait function (ms) inside the loop.  The loop doesn't have to try to run hundreds or thousands of times per second.  (A better approach would be to use a structure of the event and send new data to power thepwer when the value of the voltage level is changed).

    5. once the set loop a Power Supply VI activate with defined entry to disable the output, followed by a close VI.  This is similar to the sample program.

  • Power supply hangs after running vi second time

    Hello
I'm just starting my adventures in worlds of LabView and I encountered a problem with my first serious vi which is control CPX400DP power and oscyloscope DPO4104.

    What my vi should do:

Firstly, it defines two supply channels current levels (5V on the first, 0V on the second, etc.) and the size of the jump (0, 5V for example). Then vi must change two levels depending on the size of the jump, and repeat until the current levels of the two channels would be opposite to the starting value (in this case, 0V on the first channel, 5V on the second). Also before every current change the vi would save to the file average measurements out of oscyloscope waveforms.

    What does my vi:

In the first round, it seems he does everything in order (with resonable numbers a new text file is created). However, when I try to run the vi again my power supply freezes short after some changes underway. I can't stop the execution of the vi in LabView (it takes a while though), but to run the vi successfully, once again I have to reset my power (turn it works).

I tried to work around this problem by modyfing the vi in such a way that he would do what I want several times during the running vi only once, but unfortunately that did not work.

If someone would have any suggestions on what I am doing wrong or how to help solve this problem do not hesitate to share I don't bite... much , but seriously, I'm stuck with this problem for over a week and I will be happy to advice

    Thank you!

    Waldek.

PS Sorry if I'm not clear somewhere but I'm not used to talk about programming in English
PSS as attachments are my main vi and two sub live.

Thanks to a suggestion from Bill, but could you elaborate a little bit on "try to insert; * MUTUAL FUND? After each setup command "? And good Uncle Google says nothing about '; * MUTUAL FUND? "and insist to talk instead of OPC servers.

I'm sorry - I looked at the manual and could not realize that the subVIs missing from your code actually were drivers for your diet, so you will not be able to implement this (unless the pilots themselves have the ability to 'Operation Complete' - I hope the drivers provided with the documentation).  Otherwise, you may be stuck having to hardcode waiting after each command.

If you have written your own drivers, it's how send you the command set output 1 to 1 Volt:

    V1 1; * MUTUAL FUND?

The V1 1 sets your voltage of 1 Volt.  To turn to another command, use the semicolon.  The * OPC? forces command him back send a '1 '.  As orders are followed in order, food cannot send the '1' until he gets treated the command set to 1 Volt.  When this command is complete, the '1' is sent, you read the 1 out of the buffer and move.  This avoids problems where you stack on too many commands at once.  I checked the manual and it supports this feature.

The fan in the power supply of my Mac Pro (mid 2010, OS 10.11.5) began its decent slow in death - intermittent squeaking. I hesitate to pay a few hundred dollars to replace the power supply just when a fan $ 20 will most likely do the trick.

  • Power supply for Powermac MDD

    Hey all,.

I got a Powermac MDD dead sitting in my room for a few years now that I picked up for free because it lights. I came to the conclusion that it was the power supply, so I took and threw it years. Now, here I am, no power supply and one useless MDD.

I really want to get this thing to the top and running, but as the price of the power supply on ebay are absolutely ridiculous. I hope that someone here has a job, they are willing to participate with and sell to me. (Pay me for the part + shipping costs). Also interested in an OS disc that will work for the machine, so I can stand him up and running.

If eBay is too pricing heartburn, try a Mac (MUG) user GFroup in your area. This site will help you locate a:

    http://appleusergroupresources.com/find-a-group/

As a general rule, you don't have to physically visit the groups for assistance. Several times, simply by sending an e-mail "looking to buy" published groups addresses will receive a response.

The other option is to look for a private LABEL job and use it for parts. The cost of a scrap computer may be less than the PSU.

  • Power supply selection guide

This MOD can make a post-IT.

Here is a general guide on how to select a power supply for your HP desktop computer.  The majority of the standard ATX power supply (PSU) must fit in an envelope of HP.  The exception would be a slim casing or the esoteric Merle.

Looking for a certification 80 + on the PSU to save electricity.  A PC is normally idle or operate at low load 75% of the time.  Therefore, to find a power supply which is more effective in the range 50 - 90W.  A power supply 80 + 350W reaches the level of efficiency of 80% at the exit of 70W (20% of rated output).  The output must be greater than 140W to achieve the same level of efficiency of a PSU of 700W 80 + equivalent.  So choose a power supply that is rated at 25% more than the maximum load of the ACTUAL spending of the rig you will save more of $ on electricity.

A modern PSU is designed to achieve maximum efficiency between 20 and 80% of the nominal power.  Running a power supply above 80% charge level will result in excessive heat, noise and premature failure.

A platform Nvidia GeForce GTX 280 (1024 MB of RAM) will rely on 350W max to the wall.  Taking into account the effectiveness of a block of power SUPPLY 80 +, the actual load on the power supply is only 280W (350 x 0.80).  To calculate the required power supply, multiply the actual load by 1.25 (25% margin).  In this case we only need a PSU 350W (280 x 1.25) to run this GPU.

Let's apply what we know of a rigging of Radeon HD 4870 (512 MB RAM).  290W max to the wall.  Actual load is 290W x 0.80 or 230W.  Now, apply the 25% margin rule and we come to a requirement of 290W PSU (230W x 1.25).  Even if we apply a safety margin of 50%, the power required is always under 350W (230W x 1.50).

There are no overspec need the power supply by 50%, unless you run your PC up 24/7.  Don't forget that there is a huge variation in the quality of the PSU and side.  Maybe a good 500W PSU is not able to provide as much energy as a quality 350W.  Antec Earthwatts/NeoPower/TruePower and Corsair Seasonic are widely available at several American retailers of quality units.

High-end power supplies number will need additional power supply PSU in the form of one or two 6/8 pin plug GPU.  You can buy an adapter to convert a molex 4pin to plug 6-pin power of GPUS.

    Hi Nautsj,

You need to open your PC and measure the physical dimensions of your diet. Here is a list of the things to consider:

    1. technical characteristics
    2. the total power - important
    3. amperage 12 + v - important
4 modular - is not required, but I like the flexibility
    5. guarantee
    6 i7 and SLI ready
    7. energy efficiency
    8 cost
    9. size - standard ATX PSU is 5.5 "by 5.9" by 3.4 "give or take a few tenths
    10. a single + 12 volt rail is a better choice.

www.Newegg.com has many choices of power supplies. Corsair, OCZ, Rosewill, Thermaltake...

The typical EVGA GTX 570 in 9 "long.  The adjacent slot on the PCI-E x 16 slot must be vacant.  Open your PC and do some measures so that you know for sure if the card fits.  According to me, it will fit.

For what is a PSU, Corsair CX600has very little growth, but the Corsair HX650gives you plenty of space to grow.

I use the HX650 in two PC.  It is a modular model in order to have better options with the selection of cable.

"How-to" HP articles should be useful.

TIP: When installing the power supply, unlock the scanner and slide it forward to facilitate the removal and installation of the new power supply.

    Hello

You may need to use a shoehorn so he can adapt.  The physical dimensions of a standard power SUPPLY HP block is 5,9 "x5.5"x3.4. The Corsair CX600 or CX500 would be better physical shape.  Some of the older PC HP lights with blocks of power more than 650 watts.

I have an additive to add to this topic.

To refresh, my questions focus on a possible shift of the power supply and card mother specs:

What is an ATX 12 v 2.0 and above technical problem or a power CAP problem?

I posted my questions on the Forum of power SUPPLY Corsair PSU

at the same time and I paste it here now, a response

    to GUY of RAM.

    "Hey RAM GUY."

Sorry I couldn't answer until now.

Please specify the difference between the ATX 2.0 specification and 2.01

Spec that the negative - 5 v Rail is not present in the 2.01 spec and

beyond.  As I mentioned previously, the Thermaltake PSU that has been

running in my 2009, HP i7 tour for 7 last month said 12 volt ATX 2.2

on the case and even if the power supply HP OEM said 12 volt ATX

2.0 in the technical literature, that I found on Google, the real PSU I have does not work

have any note on the case ATX specification.  So I think it's safe to say, my

motherboard does not have the negative Rail v-5 at which he played

nicely with 12 volt ATX 2.2 spec, until recently.

Although theoretically it is supposed to be no limit on the amount of

Absorbed power, you can use to power your motherboard, the motherboard because

is supposed to use only what suits him and cap the rest, it seems that the OEM

can dial up limitations of power if they deem necessary.

Could be as simple HP, without wanting to compete with some of his HPs

Professional workstations, caps so power on some Pavilion Elite

Series models to prevent them from becoming a much cheaper

    solution.

In any case, I think that all the available information, digested, he does not speak

Specification of the ATX, but rather my motherboard HP has a limit of 650 Watts of power

If I think that I read that someone else got the same motherboard goes with

750 watts, but I do not remember where to find this announcement. »

    I'm back and Yes!

  • HP Compaq 8000 Elite power supply upgarde

I have a HP Compaq 8000 Elite 2010 and you must update the power to launch my new Radeon HD 6850 graphics card. After much research I found that this particular computer motherboard does not have a normal diet of 20 or 24 pins but use instead of 2 separate connections from 4 pins for power supply PWR and PWRCPU and a third cable that seems to me to be an ancient and obsolete 6-pin auxiliary power (http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/connectors.html#aux) for the PWRCMD supply Cable. I also found that all power is carried out through the motherboard for each piece of hardware in the computer and therefor, most likely has a limit for the maximum possible power supply. Y at - it sort of a power supply that will fit both into the slot in the power supply (which is not the standard size of power supply, but rather measures approximately 6 "x 5.75" x 3.75") and will also be able to connect to and sufficient power to the motherboard? Or am I stuck with an ugly 320W? Help, please!

    Maverickv2,

You will not be able to upgrade this power supply, model # 508154-001. It is not possible with these connectors. The most absurd part is that the material (disks) are actually powered off the coast of the motherboard. (As you said).

If the power light is blinking there is probably a problem with the electronic power supply. In this case, the laptop sends flashes code. Read this code, technicians can identify the problem.

After 18 months of that guarantee must be valid (it depends of course on where you live) as well as the repair must be free.

    Hi Axel

My theory is that there may be some problem with button / stop himself (white metal under the button), or perhaps with several Planar cable wire.

Also, for me it is definitely hardware problem. If you want, you can contact the partner of service allowed in your country and see what they have to say about it.

Do you know of any food that I could use with voltage of 12V and specific records in cars?

Like this outputs a specific AC adapter (19V, 3, 95 has), I was wondering if anyone of you has experience with car power supply that would work with this laptop (I used a standard without success).

I googled for Satellite L775 card adapter and found a few deals online.
It is important that the card adapter would provide an output 19V

Of course, you can contact the Toshiba service provider in your country and can order a genuine part of Toshiba from guys.

  • POWER SUPPLY HP XW 4300

    Hi people

Would appreciate any help with this issue.  I have a HP XW4300 workstation.  I had just lit and connecting a USB device to the back, when I noticed that the power supply fan was not running.  I turned off the PC immediately.

I know, by my experince with Dell computers than their PSU fans still all the time.  Is it the same with the fan on my 4300 XW.   I'm afraid to turn it back on when I burn the PSU.

    Thanks much for any help.

    Hello carmad7,

The fan must turn in the power supply, because that is how it will draw heat. I suspect that what can go wrong.

  • Can I put the Pavilion Slimline 180 Watt power supply to a 300 Watt PSU

    Of course, you can!

Here is an informational videoabout the possibilities of upgrading your slimline WHAT PSU found on YouTube.  A comparison of three power supplies, including the owner HP PSU and a (two video and CPU) stress test and comparison of noise is shown during the video.

Be aware that some, but not all, of the PSU, upgrades require a simple and light your PSU slimline support change. Change depends on the power supply model chosen for the upgrade.

Purchase an adaptor molex as HP UPE is necessary for the Slimlines using a power supply with the format owners microfit ATX 24 pin, as well as the standard for the HTPC power supply ATX 20 pin format.

Upgrade your power supply at a higher power will not damage your motherboard. A power supply will provide only so much power that is required of him by the mother and peripheral card up to the nominal power of the installed PSU.

It is for those who wondered how to work around the limitation of the low power 180 Watt power supply that most Pavilion Slimline PCs come with the Assembly. With a power SUPPLY improved, more memory and a graphics card discrete, including support (it is a requirement) your Slimline can be your gaming PC.

Selecting a graphics card is another topic. Not all graphics cards can hold in the case of a slimline. It takes a low profile video card. They are available for purchase online.

    Hello

    I recently bought a P850 138.
Whenever the power supply is connected and turned on the laptop case computer feels strange to the touch, and if you move your hand through it, as you often eventually do during the strike, etc., you get this weird 'static' y feeling.
