M175NW: M175Nw PCL XL errors

Then try printing to my M175NW from a 64 bit win 8.1 desktop, I get the error PCL XL messages for example

Error: llegalTag

File name Kernel.C

Number of ESA: 1921

or

Error: llegalOpertorSequence

File name Kernel.C

Number of ESA: 1854

or

Error: ExtractData

File name Sheetraster.c

Number of ESA: 874

I have two other computers that share this printer. The problem is limited to the computer of one Office mentioned above. Only this desktop computer used by ethernet to the printer cable, others are wireless.

What I tried:

(1) power Cycle printer

(2) restart the computer

(3) uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers & rebooting

(4) reBoot Ethernet hub

(5) printer change to use WiFi wired inststead

(6) in printer firmware update

"(7) pilot change affecting to" optimized for text and vector data.

Now, I'm running out of ideas and hungery for more

Yet once again, I appreciate really the answer.

What you are proposing, it is a good strategy for this shrinkage.   Unfortunately, the "print to file" option is no longer available in the HP Print widget so I'm not able to test. Or at least as far as I can see.

The date of the Windows Update was 13 March 2015, just when this happened.

I found a universal PCL6 driver dated December 2014 on the site of HP here:http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=3271558&swLangOid=8&swEnvOid=4132 and I tried. No differrence

It reads to me that he uses a MS driver provided since 2006 that is to say there were no updates to it recently. I don't know why the driver just installed does not appear. It's disturbing...

Really getting deperate, I tried the PostScript driver (same link as above).  When I print, set apart be very slow for a good minute just to find the printer that I meet a new set of printing errors, postscript type things. For me is indicating that data is corrupted before it hits the network by a Windows process, most likely.  I uninstalled because it did not help.

Well, which is located between the driver and ethernet cable? The firewall! I disabled who. No joy. Next I disabed the Antivrius (AVG). Problem solved! Activate - problem returns. With disabilities and I am okay

I did a quick Google and I see that people are starting to complain about https://support.avg.com/answers?id=906b00000004lmHAAQ

So there you have it.  AVG has been updated around the same time.  AVG is not on other computers.  Thanks AVG.  Goodbye and good riddance.   I'll go with MS built in protection in the future...

  • HP Color LaserJet 4550: HP Color LaserJet 4550 PCL XL error

I use this printer for years.  It works beautifully.

Windows 10 has just done an update & the printer driver disappeared.  I use this printer with a HP Jet Direct J4135A usb card.  Now any driver or what I do I try to install or use, I get the same error message.

I am trying to use the printer driver's upd-pcl6 - x 64 - 6.3.0.21178.exe.  The printer driver appears in the settings & is by default we & they say that everything works correctly.

Can you help me please?  I don't want to go out and buy another printer.

    PCL XL error

    Subsystem: KERNEL

    Error: UnsupportedProtocol

    Operator: 0x0

    Position: 0

Found the solution for everyone that might have this problem.

Just right click on the printer icon in the Device Manager and select printer properties / Advanced / change & driver driver HP Color LaserJet 4550 PCL6 ranking to HP Color LaserJet 4550 PCL6 and click OK.  That's all there is to it.

Now, it will work with USB (HP Jet Direct J4135A Card) that is not supported, instead of just supported network.

  • LaserJet 3030: HP 3030 PCL XL Error IllegalAttributeValue

I get the following error when you try to print a PDF file:

    PCL XL Error

    Subsystem: IMAGE

    Error: IllegalAttributeValue

    Operator: consulterles

    Position: 122

I studied him this and tried to update the drivers (PCL 6) later and tried to switch to a PS driver, neither solution worked. I can't find a PCL5 driver available to try... someone has suggestions on how to fix this? Thank you. HP Laserjet 3030 on 64-bit Windows 10...

If you didn't try the driver on the link below to try it:

    http://h20566.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/detail?sp4ts.Oid=378057 & swItemId = ds_99376_16 & swEnvOid = 4192

Also since it is a very old printer, firmware may not be able to manage the latest files. Go to the link below and make sure you have this version of the loaded firmware. If this is not the case you may need an older operating system to the firmware level but you can try to run the program as it can work. Also check the setting of the document you want to print. Make sure the paper size is correct and all other elements look OK. I have seen problems when a pdf by email has settings that did not match the default properties for the driver and caused pcl xl errors.

    http://h20566.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/detail?sp4ts.Oid=378057 & swItemId = ma_45939_2 & swEnvOid = 228 #.

  • HP LaserJet Enterprise M606dn: PCL XL error

What impression of delay and sometimes pages and cut out with the following error:

    PCL XL error

    Subsystem: IMAGE

    Error: ExtraDaata

    Operator: consulterles

    Position: 986

    Help me solve

If the error is repeatable (i.e. exactly the same when the reprint of the same document, the same driver on the same unit), then it is likely that it is caused by a driver (or the driver settings) fault.

There may be a driver available, or (according to the printer model) you may be able to switch to a driver using another Language of Description of Page( PCL5 or PostScript instead of PCL6 (the name of 'marketing' for PCL XL PDL)).

If the error (s) is/is random, they are much more likely to result from intermittent corruptions of the stream impression generated between the desktop and the device (cable control, ports, switches, etc.).

This could also tie in with your 'printing delay' reference, which can also be a consequence of the network (for example) congestion/clashes.

With a reproducible error, it is sometimes possible to connect the error information in the analysis of a print stream (captured using the option "print to a file"), and (perhaps) work what was wrong with the operator at the given position (which indicates the number of operators until and including wrong) and so (maybe) lead to a workaround.

  • PCL XL error

    Hello

I have a printer hp laserjet 2015. It was working fine and I printed two pages, after he didn't print more and the triangle exclamation light began to pulse. After that a book came out saying:

    PCL XL error

    Error: InsufficientMemory

    Operator: SetColorSpace

    Position: 1918

Please, help me as soon as possible, I really need the printer. Thank you.

Now is the only symptom you have others that she don't print not the fact that the attention light is flashing? In other words the triangle light flashes and no other light is on.

I helped another poster with a P2015, it has a flashing of the attention and is able to print a page at a time, but only after it opens and closes the access door of toner. I wonder now if you have the same symptom.

  • HP Color Laser jet 5500 dtn: PCL XL error message

    Can anyone help?

With the PCL XL error information, it is possible to compare a (repeatable) error with an analysis of a print stream (captured using the option "print to a file") and (sometimes) work out what was wrong with the operator at the given position (which indicates the number of operators until and including wrong) and so (maybe) lead to a workaround.

Such an analysis can be performed using the PRN file analysis tool in the whole PCL app, available via http://www.pclparaphernalia.eu

  • HP CM2320 pinter giving PCL XL Error

I've set up a HP CM2320 pinter and I get an error message whe trying to print a doc of MS Office or PDF etc.  The priner will print the following message is displayed:

    PCL XL Error

    Can anyone help?

    * original title - pcl xl error! -Kill me! *

    Hi JSR1,

Possible reasons for this error message include:
    • The document contains images and text.
    • The police is not supported.
    • Embedded fonts are used.
    • A special plug-in is used.
This problem can be solved by enabling the following option in Printer Preferences.

  • HP Laserjet Pro CM1415: PCL XL error

My printer suddenly stopped printing of documents, and instead of it gives me the following printed message:

    PCL XL Error

    Subsystem: text

    Error: Internal error 0 x 50

    File name: cheettext:c

    Line number: 710

I don't know what to do about it!  I tried a tip I saw on the internet - to change printer preferences to "optimize for text and vector" - it did not work.  Any ideas what could cause this problem and how to solve?

The simple solution is to change the pcl6, postscript or pcl5 driver.  This error only occurs when you use pcl6.

  • Color Laserjet MFP M476dw Pro: Color Laserjet MFP printing PCL XL Error M476dw Pro

Only, we installed our printer HP Color Laserjet Pro MFP M476dw yesterday and I noticed once it is published a PCL XL Error report instead of what I was printing.  I don't think that anything from him, but today, it happens almost all the time.  I tried to find possible solutions and stumbled upon everyone says to disable AVG...  We do not use AVG, we use MSE.  Is it a driver problem or else?  Any help would be appreciated.  Nothing more annoying than to try to use a new printer and it is not working properly.

Could be a failure of the trainer.

If you are using a test pilot a PCL5 PCL6 driver.

I tried to reinstall several different drivers without success.  I called HP and they said MS has the fix, so now I'm trying to find it.  The printer is an HP3600n.  I think that the problem is related to the host-based driver and how it will interface with XP

    Hello Barktx,

Thank you for your message.  After researching this error, it does not seem to be associated with the host-based driver.  However, the pilots are the responsibility of the manufacturer.  Click HERE for some of the latest HP patches.  I found that they have a difficulty of PCL XL for the 3500 and 3700 models.  It is possible that the 3700 fix might work for you, even though we cannot guarantee it will be.  Please let us know if this or help to solve your problem.
