LaserJet 3030: HP 3030 PCL XL Error IllegalAttributeValue
I get the following error when you try to print a PDF file:

I studied him this and tried to update the drivers (PCL 6) later and tried to switch to a PS driver, neither solution worked. I can't find a PCL5 driver available to try... someone has suggestions on how to fix this? Thank you. HP Laserjet 3030 on 64-bit Windows 10...

Also since it is a very old printer, firmware may not be able to manage the latest files. Go to the link below and make sure you have this version of the loaded firmware. If this is not the case you may need an older operating system to the firmware level but you can try to run the program as it can work. Also check the setting of the document you want to print. Make sure the paper size is correct and all other elements look OK. I have seen problems when a pdf by email has settings that did not match the default properties for the driver and caused pcl xl errors.

I had to reformat my computer and now when I plug in my HP LaserJet 3030 this does not work. HP Universal driver automatically installed and the driver HP 3030 PCL5. No tearing of the registry is necessary. To clean the printer drivers everything you need to do is go to devices and printers, select a printer, click Server properties on the toolbar, and click the tab drivers. From there, highlight and delete all the drivers and the corresponding software you like. Drivers must be removed from all printer objects until they can be removed.
My apologies, the 3030 is not a software package on Win7x64. All you can download and install are UPDs. Scanner drivers are either integrated into Win7 or can be requested through MS. updates You may not be able to get all of the devices connected, installed in the Device Manager, but the printer and scanner should at least work.
Like I said once you have the printer object installed in Device Manager, then you must make sure that the priner in devices and printers object is set to a USB port. You can find this information in the printer properties > Ports when right click on your printer from devices and printers.
PCL. XL error messages are associated with the printer PCL6 driver. You can stop these error messages by migrating to PCL5 or Postscript.

I use this printer for years. It works beautifully.
Windows 10 has just done an update & the printer driver disappeared. I use this printer with a HP Jet Direct J4135A usb card. Now any driver or what I do I try to install or use, I get the same error message.
I am trying to use the printer driver's upd-pcl6 - x 64 - 6.3.0.21178.exe. The printer driver appears in the settings & is by default we & they say that everything works correctly.
Can you help me please? I don't want to go out and buy another printer.

Found the solution for everyone that might have this problem.
Just right click on the printer icon in the Device Manager and select printer properties / Advanced / change & driver driver HP Color LaserJet 4550 PCL6 ranking to HP Color LaserJet 4550 PCL6 and click OK. That's all there is to it.
Now, it will work with USB (HP Jet Direct J4135A Card) that is not supported, instead of just supported network.

We have a HP LaserJet 3030, we put on a Pro in Windows 7 64 bit computer. We are able to access this computer from all Windows 7 machines on our network. We are trying to gain access to this our Windows XP Pro (32 bit), which is on our network. Although Windows XP can find the hp 3030, it me does not install the drivers, so that I can use this printer to the XP machine. Any help will be appreciated.

LaserJet 3030 - change the language from Russian to English
I have a LaserJet 3030 and restored the Russian language. I can't change back to English because I can't read Russian letters. I tried to turn off the printer, but that did not work. I used Google translate and plugged the words 'English' and 'language' to see how they look in Russian and looked in the menu, but none were similar.

I waited a few weeks, but no brave response to get my printer is back to English. Found the answer in a different way today, so I thought I'd share in case anyone else wants to happen. Remember, I have a LaserJet 3030 printer, so I can't guarantee that this exact sequence will work for all other HP LJ printers. It is a factory reset, so keep that in mind.
Init NVRAM
NVRAM init returns all the parameters in NVRAM to the factory default values or a default ROM value, according to the variable and performs a system reset. NVRAM init may generate the product to violate local regulations. Reset the language and country / region after having carried out the init NVRAM.
Init NVRAM resets the settings and the following information:
All menu settings are reset to the default factory, including the fax header and company name. As a trainer, number, pages factory settings and paper factory settings are reset. All faxes in memory are deleted. All the short group-dials and phone book entries are deleted. All location settings, such as language and national and regional, are reset.
To run init NVRAM:
- Turn the product off.
- Press and hold down the * and buttons MENU/ENTER.
- Continue to hold down while you turn on the product. Hold down the buttons to the entire sequence of market.
4 when the storage Permanent Init. appears on the screen of the Control Panel, release the buttons.
5. when the message language appears on the screen of the Control Panel, the correct language and country/region value.
6. let the product come back ready before using the product.

Printing from Notepad works very well. Printing on other computers on the wired network is working properly.

LaserJet 3030: problem with number of copies

I have a problem with my printer hp laserjet 3030. The printer do not recognize the numebr of copies. If I put two copies of a document, the printer cannot print only one copy of this document. The drivers are the pcl6 and update.

Method 2: Try the clean boot:

Hello, I m having trouble with a connected USB printer all-in-one HP LaserJet 3030 with Windows 7 x 64.
The drivers I found on the use of the isn´t site support and drivers HP good at all and it does not work to install via windows update, simply said: failed! Every time. The printer is really slow, can't sweep in more than one document at a time to the computer. It takes 30 seconds between each page print if there is more than one page to print.
Is this bad printer with windows7, because it worked fine with my old PC which had XP... If it is bad with W7, is there a similar printer that you prefer that I should buy, simple, USB, copy, scan, print.
