M50-181 and Mat * one years UJ-840

I bought the laptop Toshiba Satellite M50-181. But I ve a problem with burning DVD - R´s. Although the DVD 8 x I can burn it DVD only 2, 4 x. My firmware is 1.52. I get a new firemware, but I Don t find it. The Panasonic/carpet * wrote a homepage, the producer of the laptop cannot support.

Burning rate depends not only drive, but also on the media you use. Please check if your DVD-R media allows the highest burning speed.

    I have the problem with the CD and DVD Burners(firmware 1.0) I always broke my blank CD/DVDs when burning.
    I don't know why, but when I checked a few web site they sugguest update me the firmware, but I counld not found firmware supporting with toshiba frame and I found a firmware update affect the other what image from another manufacturer.
    Another question: is my DVD player only supportting DVD + R blank, when I bought the blank DVD-R the nero or Roxio burner, they show the BURNING speed is only 2 X. Please help me I need to help me all the friend.

    I have Satellite M30x and Mat * one year dvd - ram uj-8205. On the beginning everythinks worked very well, but in the last months of 2-3 that it cannot reads some CD and have problems with CD burning
    I restarted the laptop with the recovery cd, but still the same problems. Before robooting, I used nero 6, thougth perhaps, this is the problem in nero, now using just Sonic record now accompanies the DVD.

    How to help you if you don't mention what CD cannot be burned (original music CD, homes burned CDs, just specific producers, only some files are not readable). Give us more info on this issue.

    Check a little better, and if there is no success is perhaps the defective drive. It is well known that some CD (a cheaper) cannot be burned properly.

    I have with my M50-181 and Winrar in the past time a problem. My system hangs down and did a reboot, when I want to check in a file. I have the latest version of Winrar 3.51 and latest updates of Windows XP.

    After reboot I send the bug report to Microsoft. After that, I am eagerly to the Microsoft Web page. It is said that this accident is a product of a driver in my system that failed. But they can't tell me which driver is the cause of the accident.

    Has anyone else got the same or similar problem? Can someone help me?

    Have you tried to install other versions?

    Never heard of problems. I also use a Winrar (older versions) and everything works fine.

    May 2015, I bought a MacBook Pro in New York. I loved, but yestarday, April 2016, out of nowhere, the screen has decided to go all crazy. She has never fallen, or drowned or had any kind of accident. I live in Dominican Republic so I can't take it to an Apple store. The only thing I can do is bring to one of the Apple here distributors in the country. I want to just make sure that it will be in good hands and it will be fixed. They guy at the store iZone said it might be a manufacturing problem and that I still have my one year warranty we free repair. But still, it is safe to do in a store that is not exactly "Apple"?

    The Apple store closest to me is about 150 miles. I use an authorized Apple dealer, and they make my warranty repairs. Never had a problem.

    Tell us if you get to the start at startup screen (Dell, HP, etc. or the Logo of the motherboard), or if the screen is completely blank.
