M601 & P4015: 1 500 sheets CE398A versus CB523A

Hi all

Does anyone know the specific differences between the tray of 1 500 leaves for the m601 (CE398A) compared to that of the P4015n (CB523A)?

I know that the CE398A works on the two printer models, I would like to know if the difference between the two plates is a configuration of stitching or even more. I have one that fits on the 4015 only and I'd love to know that I could change

something fundamental to make it compatible with both models of printers.

I know that the tray fits physically on the m601, I install wrong on this printer all at the time, but the Board was not recognized or the paper tray lift when the printer is on.

Thank you

Dan

Most of the time when hp comes out with printers more later from model and offer accessores they will work with the older models that have the same pinout. Another example would be the series 4200 and 4250 where sheets of 1500 for the 4250 charger would work on the 4200 but the 4200 feeder would not work on the 4250. The problem is the Narcotics Control appearing on each departure. The template later Control Commission built firmware with live connections to the dc controller which printer they are connected. The firmware on the model Manger old just can't communicate with the newest of the printer dc controller. Unfortunately, hp does not have a reference number and do not provide a spare part for the control of narcotic drugs. I had a customer who had a feeder for the 4350 that had a wrong installation of collection and looked like it would be very very difficult to repair. I happened to have a 4200 loader that worked fine but wouldn't work with the 4350. I left the Board of Directors the wrong charger 4350 to my 4200 driver work and presto, it works now with the 4350.

    Hello

The plateau of 500 pages CE522A is not intended for any model of the Laserjet 500 printer, it is intended for the previous models such as the CM3530 printer for example.

What is your exact printer model?

The M525 model supports the tray CE530A:

    http://store.HP.com/wcsstore/hpusstore/PDF/LJ_ENT_500_MFP_M525%20Series.PDF

The M551 or M570 models supports the Board of CF084A:

Where did you get the shape of the status bar? It is not intended for your printer and can therefore be used with her...

I looked through your website but I couldn't find anything on CB518A. Then I tried Russian/English sites (online markets), but the information differs from one site to the other. I need this information!

    Hey ana banana

I looked in the paper that you are connected.  The series P4010 mentioned refers to the P4014, P4015 I mentioned above.  It seems that the paper tray is also compatible with the P4510 series which is an improved version of the model P4010.  The P4515 is referenced by instructions P4510 printer.

So far, these are printers only 3 that I found using this paper tray, however.

  • printer uses too much ink

Hi, I have a hp officejet 4620, bought in December 2013, but not installed until my previous machine ran out of supplies in February 2014. Hp uses a phenomenal amount of ink! I am now on my 4th black xl cartridge and my 3rd series of color inks since the end of March - about 5 weeks. A pack of 500 sheets of paper that has been used in part when I installed the printer is still about a quarter of full, so I think I printed something like 200 sheets maximum during this period. I especially feel like letters and other things, so am more likely to be less than 20% to an average of 5% coverage. Assuming that my 200 page number to be correct, it gives a figure of "cost per sheet" of 35.5 pence or 57 cents in terms of USA.  This is done for 10 times the hp figure suggests is the probable cost per page for 5% coverage.

Can someone help before I buy another printer? Thanks in advance. Steve

This may seem like a dumb question but the LJ5000 printer will recognize and work, more than a 500 sheets? I have read all the manuals and reviewed a number of articles, but it does not say one way or the other?

Hello, it seems that this machine can do only 2 x 250 trays, & 1 x 500. In other words, you will have 3 trays not including the tray (Tray 1) multi-use, but tray 2-3 will be 250, and a 4th tray is the 500. Here is a link, look under "Options" paper handling, it will show the break down the status bar options.

  • HP F2G72A stapler: stapler HP F2G72A accessory

The accessory of stapler HP F2G72A is installed on a HP M605n laserjet printer.
The device is recognized in the configuration of the printer such as unit name ' stapler 500 leaves HP LaserJet/electric stackers "."
It is configured in output tray 3, 500 sheets, top tray.
There is no specific administration/manual to use the device, so I have to go through third-party accounts online of how the functions of the device.
Currently, this electric stacker works only as a different output tray, manage 500 sheets. Printing of different users are stacked that one way, there is no ability to distinguish the output printed to the different user.
But according to several online reports, the electric stacker supposedly serves a more important function. Apparently, the printed output are assumed to be positioned to the left or to the right to keep them separate.
Print jobs are supposed to be sorted into different piles (note, it is the unique output tray, F2G72A, not the model who has separated output bins) in this unique outlet store.

    Here's what's own HP site:
When a stapler/tray is installed, the product is automatically rotates images printed on all paper sizes 180 °.

But no matter what I try, output from different users out in only the one direction, furrowed not as stated in the previous statement.
Any help that can be provide would be much appreciated.
    Thank you.

    >> ... But no matter what I try, output from different users out in only the one direction, furrowed not as stated in the previous statement.

I suspect (but I don't know for you) that you are misinterpreting this statement.

I think it's a warning that printed images of all the pages will be rotated (in exactly in the same way for each job), which could be important if certain types of paper (for example the letterhead, preprinted or Prepunched) are used.

I don't think that there is no likely parameters of causes the output of the work to be "crossed".

There may be (I don't know) the driver settings for:

    • Cause jobs to be stapled (so separated, although it will be possible for the jobs of less than a certain number of pages).

    or:

    • Cause consecutive jobs will be offset (between 5 and 10 mm) by 'jogging '.

  • 8500 again: using paper trays? You print envelopes?

We configure just the 8500 a Premium, with a lower tray added, but I'm confused.

If I want to print envelopes alone sometimes, can I load the lower tray with paper and just use the top for simple envelope power? There seems to be no way to do it. He tells me that the printer's paper and then won't take the envelope of either upper status bar.

How does the set upper/lower thing? Can I load both with paper and then have them printed automatically up to 500 sheets without reloading? He does not seem able to recognize the lower tray.

And how to print envelopes one at a time?

    Hello Melissa

Since you have Windows 7 my post above should be helpful to ensure that the second test works, as well as for the assignment of types of specific paper for trays. Here's how you can find the screen above.

Devices and printers-> right click the 8500 a-> click on printer properties (if two options choose one that does not Fax)-> device settings

  • LaserJet M401dn: Cause orders M401dn toner mess

    Hi all

I use a HP LaserJet M401dn print orders.  To secure the requirements, we have a tray locked for prescriptions (part of 500 sheets, Troy M401 course tray # 0220629001).  Prescriptions are 4 inches x 5.5 inches (portrait orientation).  Problem is after a certain time deposit of toner in the printer on both sides of the prescription.  I guess it's because printers and cartridges are made to print 8.5 inches wide, and prescriptoins are only 4 inches of width.  So two bad things happen:

    (1) If you print from the tray #2 ('regular' paper from the printer tray), you end up with almost black for 1.5 inches on both sides of the page.  I can show a digitized image of it.

    (2) anything printed, paper prescriptions or 8.5 x 11 inches, is dirty with toner visible stains all over someone ' u feel.  There are also two vertical lines in the whole of the prescription.

If you open the printer and remove and examine the toner cartride, you see toner placed on both sides of the roller (blue).  If you clean it, it will reappear after a few prints.  In the printer, below the toner cartridge, you can see little piles of toner especially to the sides.  If you clean (takes a LOT of cleaning and there are sharp items here that may stick you between your fingers and nails, OUCH! #%! #$!), vertical lines will remain but there will be no form of toner for 3-5 prints, so there happen all.

Anyone have any suggestions?  Using prescriptions on perforated 8.5 x 11-inch paper is not a good solution because a) they cost four times more, and b) there is a lot of work to tear four perforations for each prescription.  Otherwise, I'll try either replace the toner (despite the fact that it is always full and I buy real HP toners at 3-4 x the price of the 3rd part), or I'll look for a Deskjet if they make one with a locking plate.

    Thank you

    -Alex Flaxman, MD

The dealer of the printer told me that the culprit was a faulty toner.  I replaced it, and the problem solved.

It has HP brand toner.  I contacted HP and they gave me a case number and told me to contact anyone / whenever I bought it.  I bought a pack of four by NewEgg.  Unfortunately, it was long enough ago that I can't make a return by them.  Well, it did not last long.

    Thanks for your reply,

    -Alex

  • HP laserjet 8150dn pcl and ps driver interpret different trays

    Hello

I have the problem that we cannot yet use the ps driver because the page margins are ignored. So I replaced it with the pcl (no pcl6) printer driver. Then the page margins are now OK but the status bar, select is different.

    261: tray 2

    262: Tray 1

Is it possible to change that, like a registry entry?

    >> ... We have a lot of word documents containing the parameters of the page.

This is obviously the source of your problems; can you describe what you mean by that in detail?

    >> ... The PS driver interprets as the tray 2 and pcl as tray 4.

Do you mean that your Word document (in this example) injects an escape sequence "paper source selection" (& l259H) in the print stream? Or something else?

If this is the case, I can't imagine that a driver PostScript would accept such sequences; Once again, to provide more details.

Or is it just that the values stored in Word documents are dependent on the active printer? (I don't know what the mechanism is that Word uses here).

    >> ... Unfortunately, the ps driver ignore the page margin.

You will need to provide more information, although I can't advise much on issues of PS.

    >> ... Why are there differences?

PCL has been defined by HP and PostScript by Adobe, as well as their "paper tray" codes were always likely to be different.

That being said, LJ 8150 is likely to use a HP-written PostScript emulator in the firmware, so maybe they tried

to align the identifier numbering more closely.

  • HP LaserJet 4000TN tray 3

My HP LaserJet 4000TN malfunctioned - I had a paper jam and pulled out the paper and now it has a noise loud roll at the back where the book comes out.  First of all, how can I solve this problem.  Second, if I can't fix it, have a spare HP LaserJet 4000N.  Can I remove tray 3 of the 400TN and put it in the 4000N?  It would be nice to have an extra bin.

You do not have an add on 500 sheets which they referred above. The sheet of 500 on the N model is not an add on but a part of the original printer as the 2 250 sheet pan is part of the original tn model. There is a way to separate yourself from the printer in her 2 halves. The trainer and trainer in the cage needs to be removed and the purple wire behind the cage harness should be removed. Left side trim should be removed because it has a screw in the lower part of the fan that needs to be removed and in front there are two long screws that must be removed once it is and then you separate the charger of the printer of the upper part and move on the other machine which was to have her removed charger. Suggest you do a search on google for the maintenance of the printer manual as there are instructions with pictures. A lot of sites off the manual for free.

  • HP LaserJet P4014n: Plateau in transition

    Hello

I have a HP LaserJet P4014n printer. I just want the printer to print from tray 3 when TRAY 2 is empty. During printing and the tiroir2 is empty the printer tell me to load tray 2 and interrupt the print job.

The first step I have taken is to check the settings. I looked at the preferences of printer, paper/quality tab. The paper size is letter 8.5 X 11, which is the size I use. The paper source is set to automatically select. The paper type is set to plain. This tells me that I am using the right size, type and paper source should automatically choose which tray to use.

When searching on the internet for more information, I found that if the bins are not configured then the print job from the same way won't be able to continue. I then tried to ensure that this tray 3 has the same parameters as the tray 2. Tray 2 is configured to use the settings listed in my second paragraph which is size: letter and Type: plain. Tray 3 however has a whole custom paper size. When I try to change it to the letter settings will not change. When I try to save or apply the settings of the size simply to any custom instead of the letter.

Just for testing purposes, I tried to change Tray 1 to all custom and tray 3 to the letter. Tray 1 change with success but tray 3 remained the same.

My first question is what settings should I check to make sure that the printer will not pass tray 2 tray 3 empty? My second question is why it is impossible to change the tray 3 away from any custom? Any information is appreciated.

You may have a problem with the printer add 3rd tray.  The first thing you want to do is swap the real plateau of 500 sheets, feeding the tray currently in the slot in tray 2 tray 3 and the status bar currently in tray 3 in tray 2.  Now run a config page and see what it shows now as size paper in the tray 2 and tray 3.  If tray 2 now displays personalized, then switches on the side of the status bar are not in the right position.  Sometimes you can move back completely to the legal framework and move back to the letter and it corrects the problem.  If tray 3 says still customized, then the card in the housing of the status bar probably has a problem and the real feeder will need to be replaced.  I guess you are trying to change the paper size in the tray to the printer 3 and not in the pilot.  Usually, when you open the drawer and close a message will appear in the menu of the printer telling you the size, think the printer is in the taskbar and gives you a chance to change it by pressing the ok button.  Happens.  For more information you when you have 2 plates with the same type and size paper, the printer will draw first paper from the physical bin number / lowest of the superior and when the tray is empty and upward to the next plateau.  So in your case if you get letter trays 2 and 3 in order to reflect and plain then it will pull the tray 3 first and when tray 3 is empty, and then draw the tray 2.
