  You probably don't have the correct Codec to play the video.

  Either download a codec pack such as K-lite or download a little program called G-spot, open it and drag your avi file in the center of the small window of G-spot.

  It will then tell you what Codec uses the avi file. You can then Google that particulat Codec, download and install it.

• HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC does not play video streaming

  I have a brand new HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC, Intel (r) Core i7-2630QM CPU, 8 GB, Windows 7 Home Premium operating system, Service Pack 1 64-bit. Beats audio, Radeon graphics card

  It does not play Netflix streaming - the screen is dark, even though the video seems to play, and there is no sound.

  It does not play videos YouTube - video playback but the sound is off. It goes the same for Megavideo and other streaming services.

  On the other hand, he plays the music very well on the native Windows Media Player. I have not tried video on my laptop.

  I make me quite frustrated and don't know what to do. Does anyone have an idea if this is a problem of HP, beats, or Windows 7 (or a combination of all three)?

  It seems that you have not installed Adobe Flash Player .  At least, I suggest to start with that as a possible solution.

• Mac Mini does not recognize external hard drive

  I have a weird question on my Mac Mini. I have two Seagate to 8 external drives connected via USB to my Mac Mini (mid-2011 with Maverics). The discs worked well, but suddenly one of them will not be recognized by the Mac Mini.

  I connected the hard drive of my MacBook Pro and an old PC and it works fine and all files are available, but for some reason, my Mac Mini will have nothing to do with her anymore.

  It does not appear in the finder or disk utility. I unplugged the hard drive for hours and then tried to plug it back without a bit of luck. I restarted the Mac Mini on several occasions. I also tried to connect it to all the USB ports on the Mac Mini. When I connect it to the USB ports, there is no whisper sound indicating that it has started working. However, no sign of it on the Mac Mini.

  It's like the Mac Mini has decided to ignore the external hard drive, no matter what I do. Seeing this works on other devices, I'm fairly certain that the problem lies in the Mac Mini.

  I'm no expert, so any help will be very valuable for me. And if you are kind to help, please explain it to me like I'm 8 or 93 years old.

• Mac Mini crashes when playing videos in Safari

  Since the upgrade to Mac OS X 10.11.4, my Mac Mini freezes sometimes during playback of a video embedded in a Web page in Safari.

  I reinstalled Mac OS X without result.

  You can have a Safari extension or third party plugin installed that was compatible with the earlier OS X, but not El Capitan, which causes a conflict with the video content in Safari.

  This afternoon, I found my Mac Mini (mid 2011) off.

• Windows Media Center displays/does not play videos in folders of same accurate as they have always been saved

  Videos that previously played by Windows Media Center (which came installed on my laptop) suddenly stopped appearing in Windows Media Center records, although some videos (very few) are always show and play exact same files on my hard drive as videos which stopped working.

  Please help, I use Windows Media Center as my main videos media player. Windows Media Center is not connected to a TV, just use it as a media player on my laptop.

  storage/libraries? some external drives can be a problem, too.

• Lightroom CC does not play video files.

  I have the latest update of LR CC running on an iMac to date with 16 GB of RAM.

  I have a well established with new and more installed videos catalog. Most are MOV files. When I have one, in the view of Wolf, select a preview image is displayed and the play button. When I click Play I get a pause button and no change in the preview image. No change in the position, or the seconds indicator played information.

  When I try to change to another video, the preview image does not change and remains with the original video.

  Any suggestions?  the treatment of the photo looks very good.

  First of all, make sure you're on 2015.3 CC-"later" is ambiguous, since the Adobe update often suggests to those that they have the latest version.   Help > System Info to check.

• Mic Mac mini does not-maybe a setting I think not?

  I have a mini that refuses to accept a micro.   I take the microphone and put it in a computer portable air and everything is fine.  but when I use it with the mac mini, it will not work.   I selected LINE IN port and default audio in and out.  can not get.   I'm an experienced user.  There must be something that I think not.

  What is a USB microphone? Audio input on a MacMini is level line, not the microphone level.

• Flash player does not play videos. Videos HTML5 also plays do not.

  Also also made installation with xtune.

  So now, I'm trying to watch a 3D movie it is not possible to play, the system displays only 2 parallel pictures.
  In the player, Miss me the 3D icon.

  I also installed Caberlink Power DVd V13. But here also no 3D film is projected...

  Does anyone know how to enable 3D in Toshiba Player or how Cyberlink Power DVD to work with this laptop...
