Welcome to the forum!

From what I remember of these LCD screens have different pinouts and is not compatible.

That said, a LCD XGA 14 "for a machine T4x can be had for $20 or about today.

Good hunting.

  • IQ816 double video screen LCD (multiplex) problem

I have an iq816 in which the motherboard just died, then it wouldn't turn on, POST, nothing. The motherboard has been replaced and the system now starts at the bottom of windows very well with one exception: all that is shown on the display is multiplexed 6 times. The image to fill the entire screen fills to only 1/6 of the screen and is repeated 6 times. The machine has no video output, so I can't test an external monitor.

Here's what I know so far:
    1. the symptom appears during the during the POST, not only in Windows and BIOS configuration screen, then it cannot be a driver problem.
    2. the system has a video card discrete MXM and two LVDS ports on the motherboard (LVDS2 for discreet video) and LVDS1 for the embedded video. I already tried to remove the discrete video card and connecting the LCD to LVDS1 (integrated video), but the problem persists, this isn't a video card problem.
    3. in the configuration of the BIOS, the machine claims to be an iq504, not an iq816. I know that the machines take the same motherboard (same HP reference at least), so I don't know whether to be alarmed by the present or not. I tried to Flash the latest BIOS for the iq816, but the listed model is always incorrect. Is there another firmware, I need to flash, or is it a distraction?
    4. There is a set of DIP switches on the motherboard that I have not found any documentation on, but they are labeled GPIO, so I doubt they will help. Yet, no idea this here?
    5. There is a block of jumpers 8-pin without a label. I think that the bit is used to reset CMOS and reset password, but would like to know what are the other pins.

    6. the causes I can think of:
    A. bad cable LVDS (other on command - update)
    B. bad screen LCD (game over)
    C. something to do with this strangeness of motherboard model

    Thanks for any help/insight!

    Hey joesuffceren,

I'm sorry that you use in this show, but thank you for providing this useful information! I did some research on your motherboard.

Here is a link showing the motherboard specifications - develop internal connectors

GPIO is listed there as the DIP switch used in the factory to match the motherboard to the LCD so it might be your answer. I searched for any kind of documents I can find on which positions the rider must be on for the iq816 but have not yet find something. I wanted to get this information for you right where you want to go ahead and try changing this autour rider to see what works.

I hope this information helps! Forward to your response

  • Replacing the screen LCD Z30 blackBerry for Z30

I can't find the support Web site of the spare parts for my 30 Z in the Blackberry.ca. I am looking to buy a replacement screen LCD for my BlackBerry 30 Z if possible or any company that sells official part, I can do it myself, I just want to buy, thanks

As Leslie said, eBay and Amazon have them, I've seen them for $45 - $70 each.

Make sure that you don't get the Verizon version, you want the GSM model which is more common.

I replaced mine and helped a friend with a replacement, it is a very simple process to remove the 8 screws and using a pry tool to open the back, disconnect the ribbon cable and then turn everything above.

    Good luck.

  • How to set up two monitors with screen LCD and HDTV on computer that is running Windows 7

Issues of identity and position monitor

I use a LCD and an HD TV on my computer. I have HDTV mounted to my left on the wall in my room and the LCD is on my desk in front of me. I have my monitor set as my main screen and HDTV as secondary. Windows identifies the HDTV as monitor 1 and my screen LCD 2. After starting the computer they work very well as they should. My problem is during the boot process. When the computer starts, it displays only the boot screen/POST on monitor 1 (HDTV) but not my main screen #2 (LCD). This is a problem when I don't have my HDTV now, I don't see the MESSAGE options. I don't want to always have my HDTV and crane my neck every time I need to change the BIOS settings or use the MESSAGE options. Is there any solution for this?

I hope that's not redundant but did you try to set your monitor 19 "as the main display?

    1. In the screen resolution window, you click the icon of the monitor that represents the secondary monitor.
    2. You click to select the "Make my main screen" check box, and then click OK.
    3. You log out of the computer.
    4. You log on to the computer.

  • Bubble like spots on the screen LCD T410

Just noticed this a few minutes ago on my T410 (2516-CTO), there are three major tasks and three small spots on the centre-left of my screen. I tried to wipe the screen with a clean Microfiber cloth and a gentle jet of glasses cleaner on the cloth. All the dust was released, but the tasks remain. They appear only when I inspect the screen with a flashlight on dead. These tasks similar to white reflecting film-y areas, like the surface of the screen LCD is peeled off with very thin air bubbles. They seem to resemble defects under the surface - is my LCD delamination or anything else bad past?

Doesn't look like it, they think that his 'damage' I have to pay for. I've only had this T410 for a week.

Good news! After a long out of stock, the technician on-site, finally, came and succeeded him. Less than 15 minutes so I was looking at.

  • T43, screen lost

    Hello

I T43 and all of a sudden when I turn it on (if it is connected to power or not), the screen behaves as it is turned off. But when I looked carefully, I saw the windows screen, but very very very dark, it is not something that you can work with.

Is there anyone who knows how to guide me to check the connector of the screen? If you know a guide web of Lenovo, it is of course as good as well.

    Thank you.

Given what you have said so far, I'm fairly certain that your graphics card is on its way.

You may want to try would be to unplug the laptop from the map and then LCD try DVI + VGA at the same time. If this fails to work, then the new Board of Directors (or re-balling/re-flowing from the old) is called to

    Good luck.

  • Qosmio G50 - 10 H - how long expected the last screen LCD?

    Hello

I'm on my 3rd Qosmio now, this time a G50 - 10 h. My 2 other Qosmio broke out after that the screen is empty and then I have nothing but static "TV as".

My current Qosmio started broadcasting a very quiet, but noticeable whistling from the lower right of the screen. There is also a black (sometimes white depending on where you're standing) mark on the lower right part of the screen. My research I indicates that the LCD is on its way, so I ordered a replacement one.

I wonder how long these screens should last?

I use the laptop an average of 56 hours a week (if not more - I know it's a lot) and I've had since August 2008.

    All thoughts
    James

    Hey Buddy,

In my opinion, these things can happen and if your laptop is still under warranty any is ok in my opinion. Here, you can get a new free exhibition and from my own experience, I can tell the repair goes very quickly and you get your laptop in a few days only.

In addition, I have a Qosmio F50. I use it every day for my work, games, etc., also at least eight hours a day, but I t n have no problem still with the LCD. :)

  • New screen LCD Satellite 110CS

    Hi all

My problem is that I have a motherboard EPIA M1000G LVDS and I train to connect and old 11.3 "SHARP LCD for laptop 110CS Toshiba I got in my basement and wanted to build a similar computer as the HP all-in-One Series with that stuff

The module that I need for my "LVDS-05" epia motherboard is no longer available for sale, as I've looked everywhere on the internet and found nothing in STOCK. If I have to mention the fact that my motherboard has LVDS on it.

So I came up with the idea that I'm directly connect my monitor to the motherboard, then another problem came out, because the screen I have a 40pin cable that was original connected to my motherboard for laptop, but I can't find the datasheets for the diagram, that the cable is that.

The SHARP display is a VF0166P01 / LM80C219 model SVGA, color STN LCD 11.3 "

I hope that this project will rise again, as it is at this time shinking...

Thank your for your time and the greetings of the Greece,.

  • Satellite P200 and screen LCD Samsung T240HD - impossible to get good resolution

    Hello
I can't force my laptop P200 with radeon 2600hd to work properly with the Samsung T240HD LCD screen.
Nor with the d - Sub or HDMI output.

Using d - Sub maximum resolution I can get is 1024 x 768... monitor can go up to 1900 x 1200. With different laptop ex Toshiba P100 with nvidia Go7600, everything is OK - 1920 x 1200 goes like a charm.

Much worse is to use an HDMI output. Photo is very poor - I can't choose any standard resolution. Worse than common crt tv (SD).

I have a new Toshiba support web pages display drivers.
    The cables are OK.

    Any help?

    Hello

I'm really surprised that you can get the resolution of 1024 x 768 only. According to the specifications of the laptop for P200 with ATI graphics support for external monitor resolutions are:
    640 x 480
    800 x 600
    1024 x 768
    1280 x 1024
    1400 x 1050 is not supported.
    1600 x 1200
    1920 x 1440
    2048 x 1536
Then maybe you should try to use the original driver Samsung
