  When you reinstall Firefox it always uses your old profile with all the old things that you had. That said, you're lucky, there is a new feature that lets you "Reset" of Firefox.   (1) your internet connection speed can be much slower
  as you thought. Have you checked the connection speed
  at the dax1792 site posted online?

  (2) you can be located a long way from the server.

  (3) there may be a very high on the site or the net traffic
  congestion at the peak hours of the day.

  As for the different load from one clip to another time...
  I can only guess what would be the difference in the way in which the
  video has been encoded. Some are of much better quality than

  20 Mbps and YouTube video clips play instantly for me.

  Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.
