MacBook Pro crashing / interpret a report of Crash of OSX
So I get some accidents every day
I followed this link Apple then finally:
- erased from my hard drive
- reinstalled OS El Capitan
- Run the Apple hardware test / Diagnostics (detailed version) and had no problems
- only used Mac S/W
- had no devices running
Yet I still get some of these every day (there is no model what triggers their.)
If anyone can point me in the right direction (according to the Crash report below), I would be very grateful:

Hi, Ive had this computer almost six years without any problems, but in the last few day, he started to plant about every hour. It is a 15 inch mid 2010 MacBook pro with 8 GB of memory and running OSX El Capitan 10.11.6. When it crashes the user performs different tasks.
It's the panic since this accident in the morning
Any advice in what may be the cause of the problem would be appreciated.

The cause of this kernel panic is the graphics card failure. The series of MacBook Pro 15 inch 2010-2011 with the discrete GPU has had a problem with defective graphics card. This is probably your case. Apple had a replacement program where the defective logic board has been replaced by a new one for free. It lasted for 3 years, but unfortunately now it's gone already MacBook Pro (15-inch, mid 2010) intermittent black screen or the loss of video quality program is over - Apple Support
There is a similar thread for you to get more information what should I do when the intermittent black screen or the loss of video quality program is completed?
In any case, I think that the best solution is to take your computer to the specialist of the investigation.

MacBook Pro crashed after loading the Sierra
Charge of Sierra (September 22, 2016) on my MacBook Pro (early 2011) and now it crashes. The computer was working fine before the update. Can I cancel the new operating system or how can I fix the problem?
Difficulty installing Sierra
Try each of them in order. A test to see if the computer works properly:
- Reset the PRAM
- Reset the controller (SMC) system management
- Start the computer in Safe Mode, and then restart normally. It's slower than a standard home.
- Repair the disk by booting to the HD recovery immediately after that the chime press the command and R keys until the Utility Menu appears. Choose disk utility and click on the continue button. Select the withdrawal (usually Macintosh HD) volume entry of the list to one side. Click first aid button in the toolbar. Wait the fact button appear. Disk utility and return in the Utility Menu. Restart the computer from the Apple Menu.
- Reinstall OS X by booting from the Recovery HD using the command and R keys. When the Utility Menu appears, select reinstall OS X and then click on the continue button.

MacBook Pro crashes when connecting to WiFi at home
Hi all
Short:
When I connect to some of my macbook pro WiFi networks freezes. By freezing I mean all input devices stop working: no touchpad, no keyboard, no external mouse, no keyboard. My laptop stops 30 seconds after the Frost is out of the reboot. The problem is worse at home. He will die almost instantly if I try to use my home network. On the road, it can take an hour or two, then freeze! At work, life seems almost endless, but it froze. More details to follow.

Symptoms:
- When I connect everything first a loading bar is shown, sometimes it will freeze it and start/stop.
- Shortly after I log in, before you do anything, but moving the mouse, it will freeze.
- Sometimes I can not connect and it will work fine for a few minutes, until I use all that internet: firefox, safari, mail, any software that checks the license through the internet, then it freezes.
- Other times, I can work on the internet without pain for hours.
- Sometimes it will work very well, I will walk away and the machine goes to sleep. When I wake up, it will freeze. With and without the WiFi on.
- Sometimes it will work very well, I'll close the lid for a certain period of time for 1 minute to 24 hours and sometimes when I open it it will freeze.
- It crashed when booting in verbose mode. Died when something with bluetooth. I tried only once.
- When in recovery mode (CMD + R), I can run the utility disc fine, but if I want to reinstall OS X, the minute, trying to download (after signing with my Apple ID) it will freeze. It's the only way I've been able to reliable and predictable way to reproduce this problem, however, as on my home network.
- There is never crash logs in the console. I have never one "your machine should be stopped." The only way that I know that there was a problem is that I will ask you to log in and when I do, none of my programs are still open.
Where this happens:
- On my work WiFi network, it's hardly a question. Happened at least 5 times in the last year.
- During a journey (so any number of networks and equipment) will occur once an hour.
- At home, he can go months without a pass and then, as yesterday (24/04/16), occur continuously for hours on end. (I have just let my laptop open and hear the chime start about once a minute).
What I tried:
- Reinstalled OS X.
- Run diagnostics (CMD + D)
- Reset the PRAM and SMC
- Run recovery stuff (CMD + R)
- Safe mode has the same problems; When internet is used, it freezes.
- That thing where you delete all of your connections wifi, both in the Terminal and in the GUI.
- Disable IPV6 on my Macbook Pro
- The laptop is not hot. Power supply or the battery power does not make a difference.
Other stuff:
- I have an old Macbook Pro (running Yosemite) who doesn't have these problems. There is another Windows Mobile and apple and windows Phone which does not have these problems.
- Using WiFi at home and Arris TG1682G me provided by Comcast/Xfinity.
- My laptop froze all the time and then I went to another network (neighbor thank you!) and everything seems fine.
As my computer can still freeze on other networks I'll post this now and change it. I don't want to lose that.
I can't find a button change. Shortly after I posted this my macbook pro has frozen and restarted. I was not on my wifi at home.

MacBook Pro crashes when you browse YouTube on Safari.
I have a MacBook Pro with the retina display 2015. I used it for 3 months and it crashes when I browse on Safari YouTube. Anyone know the reason? Thank you.
May be due to a Safari extension or third party plug-ins.

Hello apple support community! I found a few other discussions on the issue, that I care, but I could not solve this problem. I hope someone here can help.
I have mid-2010 Macbook pro 10.10.5 Yosemite running. It keeps crashing and goes to a black screen and then restart itself. I was not able to nail down to a specific part of the software at the source of the problem. I already uninstalled other software I found by searching for BOOT_TIME in the console that was causing the computer to restart. When I searched BOOT_TIME this time and looked at the first crash before the reboot, it says this:
21/12/15 6:43:57.000 PM kernel [0]: Google Chrome it (card: 0xffffff801a9a8d20) triggered DYLD shared region unnest for card: 0xffffff801a9a8d20, 0x7fff88a00000-> 0x7fff88c00000 region. While it is not abnormal for debuggers, this increases the system memory footprint until the target ends.
21/12/15 6:43:59.351 PM Google Chrome support [528]: CGAffineTransformInvert: singular matrix.
Chrome is the origin of the problem? It seems that whenever an accident occurs, it is internet related navigation. Any help is appreciated!
see you soon
Pete
The problem is probably due to the discrete GPU failure. Download gfxCardStatus 2.3 and use it to disable the discrete GPU. It is of a temporary workaround until you get your motherboard replaced.
Oh, get rid of Chrome.

MacBook Pro crashes unexpectedly
My MacBook Pro will work perfectly for hours and possibly days, then it can reboot up to 10 times in 30 minutes.
My screen turns off completely, I'll hear the hard drive restart, the screen will say: an error has occurred, it proceeds then restarts again & charge will eventually go back to the login page.
Mine has done it since I had my hard drive replaced a year ago (or more) with Apple.
I use a MacBook Pro (15-inch) mid-2010, on OS X Yosemite 10.10.5
Can you please help?
Is your Macbook running Snow Leopard 10.6.8? If you had a kernel Panic, read this. https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT200553 also you can go to your crash log and copy a block at this link if someone can help you with it.

MacBook Pro crashed are unable to restore the system.
Hello, my MacBook Pro comes crashing and for some reason any using the command r does not open OS X Utilities with reset. When I do this the progress bar goes to halfway, then the screen goes white/grey but nothing else. I am running Yosemite passing.
Have you tried to start the OPTION, COMMAND + R keys now? If successful, you will be connected to Apple servers. Then you can try disk utility > first aid in menu 4. You will need a strong Internet connection.
Ciao.

I recently traded my old hard drive to a new hybrid drive of 1 TB (SSD and HDD). I had this problem before I swapped, but now it seems to deteriorate gradually. Ive looked online for solutions, but all that I found was the battery might be faulty, but I don't think that's the problem. im running El Capitan: 10.11.3

You have the MacBookPro6, 2 - the Edsel of Mac. There may be the failure of logic-board that was covered by a recall program that is now complete.
The model was abandoned in February 2011. It is now classified by Apple as a "vintage product." This means that Apple will probably refuse to fix (see exceptions on the linked page.) In this case, you will need to go to an independent service provider. The part can be is no longer available, or the repair may not be profitable.
Often, the problems start after an upgrade of the OS. If the upgrade has been recently, and you have backups, you can then go back to a previous version of OS X.
Otherwise, an appointment of 'Genius' in an Apple Store, or switch to a different service provider authorized, to have the tested machine. The trial will be free to an Apple Store - unless Apple refuses to even look at the unit, as it could. Diagnoses of current equipment used by service providers don't detect the fault. There is a specific test for this number called "VST" (for "video system Test.") Ask for it. A "Failed" result means that the defect is present.
If you decide to go to an independent service provider, be aware that the replacement part may also be faulty. Some owners reported that they went up to three replacement boards before you get one that worked. Don't expect any help from Apple if you have to pay several hundred dollars for an another bad logic board and that the supplier will be replace again.
If you don't want to take that risk, or if you don't like the price you quoted, you may (or may not) be able to work around the problem by disabling automatic switching graphics. To use the separate graphics processor, you will need a third-party utility to manually switch to him.

MacBook Pro crashed trying to load Mac OS Sierra. Can't back up.
Try to upgrade to Mac OS Sierra. Have a MacBook Pro (2011). Latest operating system running. Make the backup. Downloaded Mac OS Sierra. Settle. Installation failed. Retried, installation failed again. I now trying to recover from a backup, but can not get the system to start. I have only a screen with several languages, I chose English, but he was just sitting there with several languages scrolling on the screen.
Hey Rocket281,
If I understand correctly, you tried to install macOS a few times and it failed. Now you're stuck on language selection screen and it will not progress. I recommend you read this article, it explains how to start on the recovery screen and install a new version of Mac OS or disk utility to repair any problems, it can be seen.
To boot from recovery macOS, hold down the command (⌘) r immediately after start-up or that you restart your Mac. Release when you see the Apple logo.
- Backup restore Time Machine: Restore your Mac from an external hard drive or a Time Capsule that contains a Time Machine backup of your Mac.
- Reinstall macOS*: download and reinstall macOS on your startup disk. macOS (command-R) recovery installs the latest macOS version installed on your Mac. macOS Internet recovery (Command-Option-R) installs the version originally supplied with your Mac.
- Get help online*: use Safari to surf the web and find help for your Mac. Links to the Apple support Web site are included. Browser plug-ins and extensions are disabled.
- Disk utility: Use disk utility to repair or Erase your startup disk or another hard drive.
On macOS recovery - Apple Support
Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. Have a good.

MacBook Pro crashed after update to macOS Sierra
After I tried to update my MacBook Pro for macOS Sierra, this screen came:
In case you can't read it, it says "apple.com/support-1007F'.
After restart my MacBook Pro, he asked for my Wi - Fi connection information, so I typed in it and it showed a loading bar. Then came to this screen:
I didn't know which option to choose, what is called Apple Care to help make a choice. They said to choose 'Reinstall OS X' so I did. Then my screen says something like "click and drag to the browser that you want to download in" but nothing has popped up.
I don't know what is happening with my computer. Hard drive failure? This update was not the largest update so I don't know why all this is happening.
If you have any ideas or solutions, please respond! That would be incredible!
Thank you guys!
It seems that your Mac can not find the system disk. It seems that the drive has failed and your Mac is now in recovery mode.

2015 Macbook Pro crashing and trackpad not working not
I have a Macbook Pro 2015 I got in December 2015. In the last 3 days it has planted 3 times. The mouse is not responding, the screen freezes and stays on even when I close the lid even in Crans working on the trackpad (I can't in press). The only way I can restore it is by holding off button and restart the Mac Turing.
Can anyone diagnose this?
Regarding the trackpad, first of all I recommend you to check if there are new updates for it, just look for him in the AppStore (click on updates). If this doesn't solve your problem, you can check the settings of the Trackpad. Perhaps some options has been defined by default, then you can try to change it. You can change the double click speed and time of loading of the spring there. Anyway, you can check if your trackpad completely disabled by connecting a physical mouse with your mac. If the mouse works, you have to configure settings, otherwise, you will need to bring your macbook to the App Store. Hope so, it will help you.

Hello everyone, I would appreciate the help! I have a MacBook Pro, to 2009 and installed in El Capitan a few months ago. Everything worked fine until I restarted the computer a few hours before. He soon let, then a sign "do not enter" appeared, and then the Apple logo, and finally a page called 'recovery information. This page offers a few options, for example, "fix the volume." or "reinstall OS X. If possible, I would like to avoid losing all the information that I have / had on my computer. (Unfortunately, I had not set up Time Machine). I have no idea what to do and I'm reluctant to try no matter what until I know not if there is a way I can recover my files, my e-mail (in the mailer), photos, music, etc. I am able to connect to the internet via Wi - Fi, and that's what I'm doing right now.
Can anyone help? Thank you very much!
Screen of Mac OS X - grey or prohibitory sign appears during startup
Depending on the situation, you may not be able to recover your data if the hard drive is dead.
Reinstall El Capitan without erasing the drive
HD recovery start: restart the computer after the ring, press on and hold down the COMMAND and R until the menu screen appears.
Repair the hard drive and permissions: at startup, select in the main menu disk utility. Repair hard disk and permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears, select disk utility and press the continue button. Disk utility charges and select Macintosh HD entry indented from the list on the left. Click first aid button in the toolbar. Wait until the operation is complete, then quit disk utility and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select reinstall OS X and click on the continue button.
Note : You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest to use Ethernet if possible because it's three times faster than Wi - Fi and more reliable.
