machine check exception - windows 8
I just bought a new PC. It continues to crash with the following error appears;
1. check exception machine (often)
2 clock watchdog timeout (several times)
3. several accidents where it does not go to the Blue error screen, but remains frozen.
These errors occur shortly after startup in windows 8.
The PC specification is;
Ultra Durable card mother-GA-B75M-D3H
3.2 Intel i5
Kingston 8 GB DDR
2 TB hard drive
I tried to delete one or the other memory chips and the erros continue to be committed. I checked the reset of all cards and updated the BIOS. Reformatted the hard drive and reinstalled Windows 8. I could not load windiws updates that the incident occurs before being committed. Errors still occur.
Please notify.
Thank you
Thank you all for a responded to this problem.
I have finally followed down to the wifi card is the problem. After doing a search, it seems that other people have found that it does not work with Windows 8, it seems that I should have done this before you buy the card!

Restart: Machine Check Exception Cache hierarchy error (18 events)
I'm getting reboots on my machine all night (I have a few tasks planned during the night) which means that when I wake up scheduled tasks have not taken place. Windows reports he had an unexpected restart and verification of that event viewer indicates that there are 18 of the WHEA-Logger event.
Note: the machine is overclocked, but synchronization is a conservative OC using presets on the motherboard (4.6Gz was not stable so it is on 4.4, I have not tried to manually tweak it more because it's not worth the effort), with the RAM OC below the XMP profile supported. A 4-hour race with Prime95 test complete instruction set (105W) showed no problems and a CPU temperature has not managed 60 c with considerably lower than that of the RAM, so I'm sure no problem with cooling. In addition he has not been seen when running anything, only nights that has suspect me something in the States of sleep or power-saving modes is not responding well to a software or settings of the OC.

HP DL585 G7 - restart incorrigible caused unexpected Machine Check Exception
Hello
I have a HP DL585 G7 and ESXi 5.1 is installed on it.
The server has been restarted due to MCE I found on ILO IML, error looks like this: incorrigible Machine Check Exception (Board 0, processor 2, APIC, ID 0 x 00000040, Bank 0 x 00000004, status 0xF6000000 '00070F0F, address 0 x 00000019' 9C5BFA00, Misc 0 x 00000000 00000000')
Also, I found this on vmkernel.log: MCE: 635: property of the Bank/CPU-package fixed 12 MCE settings
Update my BIOS of the server and political power is "HP High Performance Mode static.
Can someone help me find the root cause?

Machine Check Exception / blue screen
I am running Windows XP, SP3.
Recently, I experienced start-up problems. Occasionally, I get a blue screen:
0X0000009C Machine_Check_Exception (0 x 00000004, 0X80546EF0, 0XB2000000, 0X00070F0F)
I'm assuming that a hardware problem can be to spoil my boot process. This blue screen message indicates what in particular is causing the problem?
Kind regards... John
ZigZag3143 has the most experience BSOD to find here and I have nothing in my notes on that one, which means that I've never had to understand before.
People on the wide Wide World of the Web seem to agree that it is some kind of hardware problem and with some of these mistakes, it isn't going to be a crash dump file if the CPU gets into such a funk that he just current quites of execution. He can't write the dump file - it's just going to lock up and stop running.
Other references indicate that there is no crash dump with this error.
For example, systems with heat problems do not generate a crash dump file - the CPU enters a thermal event and it just turned off the system so no more damage and it's not going to be a crash dump file, but you may have a thermal event.
Many theories of the cause and most unlikely, but it would not hurt to test your RAM (it will probably pass, but at least you can say you did) and other people suggest a deficient diet or a new material has been added which contributes to the problem, or some hardware puff like a CD/DVD drive. I couldn't find something where someone has the eureka moment with this error.
You recently said you have had this problem, so can you think of anything whether material wise who might have changed?
You have an external unit any which may temporarily disconnect when there is a problem starting to see if things work better when they are disconnected?
If the system is a desktop computer, you can temporarily disconnect things like your CD/DVD drive.I think it might be a process of elimination... Power supplies are not too expensive to today and need me more time to pick one he made to replace one.
If you want to test your RAM, here are a few ideas:
Run a test on your RAM with memtest86 + (I know it's annoying and will cost you a CD).
Memtest86 + is a version more up to date of the old program memtest86 and they are not the same.
The memtest86 + does not work under Windows, you will need to download the ISO file, create a bootable CD, boot on it and then run memtest86 +.
If even a single error is reported is a failure and you do suspect of your RAM.
If you have several sticks of RAM, you may need to run the test on them one at the time and change them out to isolate the particular omission of a single stick.
Always keep at least the first Bank of occupied RAM so the test will find something to do and simply restart your system.
Sometimes reinstalling the RAM in slots will relieve the error, but a failure is always cause for suspicion.
The file and complete instructions on using a USB or CD drive are here:
http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/105647-RAM-test-Memtest86.html
or here:
http://www.memtest.org/
Here is a link that shows that you create and use the CD memtest86 +:http://www.GeeksToGo.com/Forum/Guide-to-using-Memtest86-t246994.html
If someone says to run memtest86, you can tell them to go sand paper and that you know memtest86 + replaces memtest86 and here's why:
http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Memtest86
Microsoft also has a test tool used to run out of memory, but there is a copy on my SkyDrive:
This 'tool' is MIA from Microsoft for some time but there's a copy on my SkyDrive, you can download (mtinst.exe).
I downloaded a copy of the Test utility of Windows memory on my SkyDrive (everyone has a SkyDrive for file sharing).
You can download it and when you do, save it to your desktop, launch (double-click on it) and follow the instructions.
Here is the link to my SkyDrive and you can get the file you need here:
https://SkyDrive.live.com/?CID=6a7e789cab1d6f39&ID=6A7E789CAB1D6F39! 311
When you see the files available for download, you can not see the file extension (.exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, .zip, etc.), but when download you them they will have the right extension.
When you download the file (especially if you use Internet Explorer), when you get a chance to save the file, your browser is unable to save the file with an extension (by example, .exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, .zip, etc) then you will need to manually add the extension appropriate to the file when you download the file before you save it.
You can download the file without the extension, and then rename the file to add the appropriate extension. You do not want to use a file called mtinst when the name of the file should really be called mtinst.exe (if the downloaded file has no extension, you will need to change the name of the file to add the appropriate extension to make it work.
Double-click mtinst.exe to start it and follow the instructions.

One faces this question erlier? then helpme out.Hello
1. If your files are located on a remote file system, you will need to copy one of your files to the computer that Designer ODI runs to allow ODI retrieve the metadata of the file information.
2. in the topology to create a physical schema, the directory you enter data and the scheme of work must point to this local file.
3. then set the file data store in the designer of the ODI. Enter a name, browse and select the file and fill each deposited the files tab.* If it's a fixed file, click on the network icon in the column into the columns tab and have checked auto adjustment.
* If it is a delimited file, use the reverse button on the columns tab to reverse the columns.
* Right-click on the Datastore folder select View Data, if you can view the data, which means that store file data has been correctly set.
* If this is not the case, check each tab of the database file to make sure that everything is set correctly and try again.4. once the display data to be successful, now change you directories (data and the scheme of work in topology) to point to the remote file system. These directories must be accessible to the ODI Agent that will be used to perform transformations. The directory can be an absolute path (m:/public/data/files) or a parent in the ODI Agent startup directory (.. files/demo /). It is strongly recommended to use a UNC (regardless of the location of execution) name for the path. Executing transformations "agentless", the directory is relative to the directory where Oracle Data Integrator was installed.
You must have an agent process running on the system that contains your source file.
Then during the race, the odi interface choose this agent.Thank you
