Machines upgrading Vista to Windows 7

Hello

I bought 7 laptops in 4Q 2008 all with Vista on it.  I would like to upgrade to Windows 7.  Is there a special license, can I buy vs a store bought the upgrade for each machine?

If you happen to have Windows Vista Home Basic or Home Premium installed on your laptop, consider buying Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade Family Pack.  Be sure to download and run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor before upgrading.

Since you say that you have 7 portable computers, you would need to purchase two 2Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade Family Packs and also 1 Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade.

    Hey,.

This means that you are looking for a new display driver for Windows 7, right?

Well, normally as you can get on the official website of Toshiba:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & download > download drivers

I checked the Web from Toshiba site and there is a display driver for your model. Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit, both are supported and it s version 8.634.1

    It is useful for you?

    Hello

I put t know what you want to hear exactly now, but you can download all drivers here:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

As far as I know that this model P200 belongs to the PSPB6 series.
Therefore, it seems that all the drivers available for Windows 7 32 bit.

In general, Vista and Windows 7, I can say that new OS runs much faster and has never had a problem yet. I can recommend it! :)

  • Upgrade Vista to Windows 7, files using the second internal hard drive and Windows Easy Transfer.

I have a desktop pc with 2 internal hard drives.  A hard drive has the BONE and the second hard disk is a separate partition.  (I do not combine hard drives using RAID.)  If I upgrade Vista to Windows 7, the upgrade will be to reformat hard disks or just a hard drive with the operating system?  Should I remove the second hard disk of the computer just to be sure?  The second hard drive must be reformatted for use with Windows 7?

    Thank you.

You must install the upgrade in the Vista operating system.

    Hello

I have Windows Vista SP2 on my machine. can I he move to Windows 7 using Windows 7 Ultimate draft?

A preliminary version is not a permanent solution and to this date can not activate or update properly.  You have two choices:

    (1) get you a Windows 7 upgrade version.  (2) Windows 7 Trial (see the last part of my post).

With a choice, it is always a good idea to create a backup Image of your hard drive before moving from Vista to Windows 7.

    Windows 7 upgrade paths
Microsoft has released a downloadable document from MS word with a list of paths to upgrade to Windows 7.

Note: The 'Upgrade' from Windows 7 version you are the owner requires a previous version (and ligitimate) from Windows XP or Vista. If you do not meet these requirements, then you must purchase a full version of Windows 7.

  • Upgrade Vista to Windows 8 fails because it cannot tell if my PC is ready

I downloaded the upgrade for $40 from Windows Vista to Windows 8.  I'm trying to upgrade from my office, but I get the message "something's happened, we can't tell if your PC is ready to continue the installation of Windows 8"  Try restarting the whole upward. »

I tried to restart Setup several times with the same result.  Any ideas on how I can prepare my PC for this upgrade?

On another another attempt to upgrade, I noticed a transitional message that windows 8 find all updates required but necessary to restart.  It has not restarted automatically but rather moved to the next step.  I manually restarted the computer and now, as of the beginning of the upgrade, the upgrade has started.
