made 2311gt HP (QJ684AA) support HDMI 1. 4 a cable?

I'll buy a HP 2311gt 3D monitor, but I don't know if it supports HDMI 1. 4A cable. because I discovered that need 3D content cable HDMI 1. 4A for image quality of dough or it doesn't mean anything if it 1. 3B or 1. 4A, all cables are the same. As far as I know my Nvidia GTX 660ti are 3D one supported it compatable with HDMI 1. 4A.

In theory, you will need a minimum of cable HDMI v1.4 to support 3D content. If you get a v1.4a or v1.4b cable you should not have problems. I suggest to get a v1.4b cable because it is the most recent version and supports most of the formats.

Please send Bravo

  • What screen resolution will be an early 2008 iMac support HDMI Firewire?

The question, says it all really. I have an iMac in early 2008 with Firewire ports. I have a firewire connector HDMI I want to use to connect to a monitor to use as a secondary monitor to the iMac as a monitor for the PS3. I have a different HDMI to allow switch box outputs switch between the iMac & PS3.

I want to know is what is the maximum resolution that will support the iMac?

And, if I use a monitor with a higher resolution it will reduce or will it just not work?

    Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you're asking.

Ask yourself if the iMac in early 2008 can be used as a stand-alone monitor? No-> use your iMac as a display with the target - Apple Support Display Mode

Ask yourself if you can connect your iMac in early 2008 to an external monitor? Yes, but your iMac has an output mini-DVI video. If your monitor has an HDMI input, you will need to use one adapter mini DVI to HDMI.

    Download and reinstall Windows 7:

Step 1: Download a copy of Windows 7:

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:

  • Dolby Digital Audio output via HDMI on Satellite A200 cable?

I don't see how to get a Dolby Digital signal on my laptop!

I have a screen LCD HD 1080 p television. With the help of a cable HDMI from laptop to TV gives a beautiful image. I then use an optical link between TV and Surround amplifier... However the amp does not recognize the signal as a Dolby Digital signal.

The record is not clear on issues of Audio. The Toshiba HD-DVD player shows Dolby Digital option and I guess that's out put down the HDMI cable? I hear through the TV speakers.

    Hints would be much appreciated.

    Concerning
    Paul

    Hello

To be honest I didn t know that there is Satellite A200 laptops with HDMI output. Can you please tell me what A200 you have (A200-xxx)? Are you really sure have an A200?

Back to your problem: as far as I know the Digital Dolby audio can be sent if the laptop has S/PDIF port. You must also use an optical cable and connect laptop to your amp directly.

What you do now is send the signal to the TV only. I don't really know if you can browse the Dolby signal to the amp.

  • P7 - 1036b: HDMI Cable of office on television. NO SOUND

I saw a lot, a lot of the same question and following all suggestions, but so far no luck.

I have connected my desktop to my TV. I made sure that the monitor and TV show the same screen. I have no sound on the end of the TV. I did the right click, select playback devices to select the HDMI, but there is no HDMI. It's all there, it's Realtek High Definition Audio speakers. Nothing else.

Yes, I have a right click, and the fact that show disabled devices is checked so that to show disconnected devices is checked. There is NO other device.

Yes, my HDMI cable is plugged in and working properly. Yes, I restart the computer after you connect the cable HDMI to ensure that it has been read correctly. And Yes, I went to Device Manager, click on sounds and uninstall the Realtek High Definition Audio speaker. Then restarted, let the computer to reinstall the driver.

I even checked the driver updates.

still, no sound on the TV. I would like to bring sound to speakers on the desktop.

I've read tons of fixes on the internet and there, but after each one, I am still where I started. Help please!

    Hello

Your PC does not support HDMI output.  You must install a dedicated graphics card to support HDMI output with sound.

  • Toshiba 32TL838: flicker after fw upgraded in the menus, using HDMI input

    Hello

yesterday I updated firmware of my 32TL838 to version 6.4.0Y.1 / 94.6.27.8 using the upgrade feature network.

After the upgrade, I reset the TV to start again with the factory settings.

During the quick installation after the reset, I noticed a very bad video quality. The entire image flickered, had a ghost effect and looked at interlaced. The menus were almost illegible.

Once the installation is complete, the TV switched TV (cable DTV) normal mode and at least the TV picture looked quite normal. While the input CABLE is selected, I can also open menus as before, they are displayed correctly.

But as soon as I switch to the HDMI input, the image becomes nuts once again, just like during the initial installation, including recoveries of TV menu. Sometimes it becomes stable for maybe 30 seconds, but then he is paralyzed again.

A few words about my setup: TV uses only input HDMI 1 and the cable entry, nothing else is connected.
Links to HDMI input to a receiver Onkyo TX - SR508 AV which is powered by a Fantec 3DS4600 media player and the Blu - Ray BDP - S373 player.

Because I expect the question of what-to-your-HDMI-wiring, I traded the HDMI cables but as expected which has not helped at all.

At least, I seem to be successful by bypassing the problem when you use the Fantec drive.

Before I updated the firmware, I was able to use the drive with 1080 p/60 Hz and the player has been installed as a result.

Now I switched to 1080 p / 50 Hz, and the video image seems OK again. (However, I made a short test and as I said, sometimes_
the image is OK for a short period).

Unfortunately my BluRay player has no menu to change the frequency, so I watch BluRay or online services, the player offers, is impossible.

So, what can I do now? A downgrade of firmware (if possible) would be a quick temporary workaround I could accept. But medium-term I'm expecting Toshiba to restore functionality that they promoted and for which I paid.
(Youtube stopped working with the old firmware and it seems that 1080 p/60 Hz no longer works with the latest firmware).

Anyone know how to downgrade the firmware using a USB? I already downloaded the previuos version tl838_853886.bin but I do not have a nail how (and if) it can be installed.

    Thanks for your advice
    BELEKTRO

    Hello

As far as I know the isn t possible downgrade firmware.

But you said that you noticed this problem by using an external device connected to the HDMI 1 port.
As far as I know the Toshiba 32TL838 supports 4 HDMI ports.
I recommend you to check all of the 4 HDMI ports as well as to check all device configuration options.

Check for example the rate of active movement + option available.
This option allows to improve the rate of cooling of a TV

  • HP PAVILION SLIMLINE S3370.UK: update ATI 2400HD to one with HDMI graphics card

Looking for some advice - I have this HP PAVILLION S3370 with this 2400HD ATI graphics card machine

The reason why I'm looking to upgrade the card is simply for HDMI support. I have bought converters and VGA splitters but had problems with resolutions where I'd get a display on a screen and a message put on the other, so I thought that I should just upgrade the card to one that has two vga and a HDMI output in this way I can project to the second screen and with a card with the sopport software update I should be able to adapt to the screen with scaling options - as I can on my other machine - and yet always use the computer screen when I want to sit at my desk.

The problem I have is the technical terms of the cards. I uderstand that due to having a HP Slimline I need a low profile & PCI Express x 16 card but newer cards make no mention of DDR2 SDRAM - and instead, I know GDDR3 - I'm asuming it is just the memory of the card use - type, but that would be coimpatable with the installation of my machine?

For example this map would be a suitable replacement? EVGA NVIDIA GT 610 Graphics Card - 1 GB If Yes can you contact why. If this is not suitable could make you alternative suggestions - thank you.

I apologize for the niavity of this issue - but it's been years since I have been embarrassed to have to upgrade graphics cards and I forgot the more I find myself with. I am based in the United Kingdom and the machine itself is running Windows 10 - the current graphics card manages the Sturmovik game Sim plane no problem and while I want to really just support HDMI for streaming movies I don't want to lose my support in game.

Thanks for reading and checking links - we appreciate it.

    Hello:

I think you should be able to squeak by with this card and derisory of your PC power supply 160W.

The AMD Radeon attracts a maximum of about 20 Watts and the GT610 around 29 Watts.  IMO, 9 Watts is not that big of a difference to blow your PC power.

I see that it comes with low profile brackets, so there is no problem with this arrangement, etc.

You're right about the memory.  That concern me too much back in the day, that the memory graphics specification did not spec PC's memory.  Graphics memory is independent of the PC's memory, and there is no conflict.

The only thing I don't know... but easy enough to fix.

The PC being produced in 2007 may have a BIOS that does not include how video cards with HDMI ports work regarding audio.

On these old PC several times when you install a video card with HDMI output, the PC think that not only you have installed a video card, but that you have also installed a sound card (because of the HD audio chip on the video card).

Thus, the BIOS only disables the video edge, it also disables the audio system too.

So, after installing the video card and drivers, if your integrated sound card is missing, restart the PC, go into the BIOS, look for the audio setting on Board (it cannot exist without first adding the video card, so there may be no use in looking for it now).  You can watch now of course, but do not be alarmed if it does not exist.

Audio setting will be set to auto or off.

Change the active setting. Save the setting here where you made the change, and again when you exit the BIOS.

After reboot and return to Windows, integrated audio system needs to be restored and the HDMI audio works if HDMI cable connection is detected.

Another reminder... before install you your new video card, make sure that you uninstall the current drivers.

To do this, go to Device Manager, click to expand the category of device display cards, do a right-click on the map of chart amd radeon HD 2400 that there are listed, select uninstall, select uninstall driver.

Do not restart the PC you are prompted.

Go to the menu programs in the Control Panel, then uninstall all current AMD Catalyst software.

Once this is done, stop, disconnect the PC and remove and replace the video card in your PC.

  • U2717D HDMI signal not detected

My U2717D is less than 1 week old. I plugged it with my early 2012 MacBook Pro 15 via display port using the cable supplied with the monitor. It works admirably or not the monitor input Source is set to manual or Auto select.

Then I tried to connect my other laptops using HDMI. The cable is a HDMI cable that I connect laptops to my TV to existing work. Laptops are HP Pavilion X 2 13 (win 10 with all latest updates) and Asus S200E (Win 8.1). I also tried my MBP with a CDM-> HDMI adapter. All 3 laptops did not detect the monitor when the source is in Auto Select, monitor says HDMI no signal. All 3 laptops did not detect the monitor turned off the automatic selection and manually selected the HDMI input. DisplayPort cable has also been disconnected for the test, it made no difference. I also have a working device Google ChromeCast 2 that I plugged directly on the U2717D HDMI port. In all cases, the monitor reported no signal HDMI cable, or computers that are detectable by the monitor.

Finally, I got the job of HP. I remember, I had to unplug all cables including the power of U2717D. Turn on U2717D, turn on the laptop, then plug an HDMI cable. A sigh of relief, I plugged the MBP to DP cable and it seems to work. The next day, I tried the Asus. Again, no signal on HDMI, no monitor detected. I unplugged DP, HDMI, pedaled power the monitor, select Manuel HDMI then connect the Asus and it finally worked.

I have a Dell XPS13 arriving at which I intend to move the monitor between XPS 13 on HDMI and DisplayPort on the MBP (via USB to HDMI adapter type-C). However, it is unacceptable if I need power cycle and unplug the cables every time! Is a kind of 'feature' question or undocumented? Or is my defective U2717D HDMI port and I need to arrange for an Exchange?

Before we get it exchanged, contact Dell Technical Support and ask them to send you our HDMI to HDMI Cable, part T516N. See if it fits best.
