P7 - 1036b: HDMI Cable of office on television. NO SOUND

I saw a lot, a lot of the same question and following all suggestions, but so far no luck.

I have connected my desktop to my TV. I made sure that the monitor and TV show the same screen. I have no sound on the end of the TV. I did the right click, select playback devices to select the HDMI, but there is no HDMI. It's all there, it's Realtek High Definition Audio speakers. Nothing else.

Yes, I have a right click, and the fact that show disabled devices is checked so that to show disconnected devices is checked. There is NO other device.

Yes, my HDMI cable is plugged in and working properly. Yes, I restart the computer after you connect the cable HDMI to ensure that it has been read correctly. And Yes, I went to Device Manager, click on sounds and uninstall the Realtek High Definition Audio speaker. Then restarted, let the computer to reinstall the driver.

I even checked the driver updates.

still, no sound on the TV. I would like to bring sound to speakers on the desktop.

I've read tons of fixes on the internet and there, but after each one, I am still where I started. Help please!

Hello

Your PC does not support HDMI output.  You must install a dedicated graphics card to support HDMI output with sound.

Please see the following article on how to configure two monitors in Vista (and also read the referenced right articles that contain valuable additional information): http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Set-up-multiple-monitors.

  • Satellite Pro C850 - 1 K 3 can't connect to a TV via an HDMI cable

If I use either F4/the windows key + P and select duplicate or PC screen only (or another option) and then plug it into the TV, so the laptop screen and the TV screen are blank. By pressing any key does not display anything on my laptop screen, then when I unplug the HDMI cable that it happens with the second screen only option highlighted. My laptop strangely ignores what I click and returns continually to this option and unfortunately, I can't project the screen on any monitor (I tried 4 separate monitors).

My laptop was able to be plugged into a TV and I did this several times, but as far as I know this stopped when I had a windows 8.1 update (my assumption, I don't know). I searched the web for solutions, and none have worked. I tried the method of detection of the monitor through the resolution on the desktop option, but again, this cannot be done because I don't see anything on the screen when my laptop is plugged into any TV, and I tried many times.

    Any help is appreciated

    Thank you very much

I use Toshiba laptops a few years now and what I can say is that you need to connect your laptop to the TV first, select the right port on the TV and then use key FN or F to change between TV Office laptops and connected.
Connected TV or another external device must be established first.

    Please test once more.

  • Pavilion x 360: no sound in my TV when I plugged in my HDMI cable

Hello, I just bought a HDMI cable to connect my HP Pavilion x 360 on my TV. Unfortunately, I get only video on my TV but no sound. Audio only comes from my x 360 Pavilion. I am aware of the right by clicking on the volume icon and clicking on "playback devices" to defult cable HDMI or TV. Unfortunaly, it is not visible even after activating the devices disconnected and disabled. Please, someone help so I can get sound on my TV as well? I left a screenshot. As a reminder, my HDMI is connected on both sides, and I also disconnected and disabled visible devices. Thank you!

On my HP Envy, there is a known issue, that the system still does not recognize the new connection, so you get no audio and video.  The solution on my machine is to connect the hdmi cable with the computer and the television to stop (or at less the computer sleep), THEN you will need to activate them in the right order - I think that this is TV first, then computer to find the live TV connection already when it starts / wakes up.

In addition, due to the configuration of my TV, I have two HDMI ports. They are tied up with other devices. Connection to a HDMI cable from 50 feet to a dispatcher (on television) will add any stress to my Mac Mini (mid-2011)?

Thank you very much for your help!

    Google search shows like this

Than 50 feet is maximum for an HDMI cable, but that applies to 720 p. Sometimes 1080 p and sometimes not.

However, I am concerned about the "splitter" you mention. Will probably further reduce the maximum length 50 feet unless it has its own amplifier.

  • Satellite L650-11F - how to connect to LCD via an HDMI cable?

    Hello world

I have the Satellite L650-11F with ATI 5650 and HDMI port and I want to connect the laptop via HDMI lcd screen so that I have some office using 2 * ATI Catalyst * and * software HydraVision, but ATI sites said that Toshiba notebook is not supported (Please check with your mobile phone OEM for support of the drivers for these laptops).

So, how can I connect my laptop to LCD screen to get 2 workstation?

Sorry for my bad English :)

    Hi thebluewriter,

I think you need to check only the other discussions of the forum on the connection for laptop LCD screen. You will find enough about it!

In any case, most recent display driver you can download on the official website of Toshiba, but usually it s preinstalled on your laptop.
If you are using a HDMI cable, use just FN + F5 key combination to switch between monitors. All that s! :)

  • HP 2509 m screen flashes and turns off using a HDMI Cable entry

I have problems with my new HP2509m monitor. When I connect to my cable box using the HDMI connection the screen image flashes for a few seconds and then goes black for a few seconds and continues to do so. The time interval varies from May 3 to 6 seconds in each phase.

It's the second monitor I got that this behavior. When I bought my system in October I ordered the 23 "monitor and it worked fine with the HDMI input, but I had trouble with the PC and he traded. The 2509 was introduced at the same time so I decided to share my monitor 23 "to 25", but now I'm regretting this decision. The main reason I bought the extra monitor should have the opportunity to move to the HDMI input for TV viewing, save space in my office.

I tried the monitor using the same HDMI cable plug into the HDMI from my computer and the light is very good, so it seems to be a problem with the signal from the cable, but everything worked with the 23 "monitor leaving I think there is an issue with tuner HDMI monitor 2509.

I searched the documentation on the HP site and google search but have found nothing of the sort. Someone has seen this and is there a solution for this? I like to keep the monitor. Thank you.

Apparently, I was early to the part of the questions of this monitor.

It turns out that the monitor is not compatible with the decoder I've had. The box is made by the Asian Development Bank and is capable of displaying 1080I content. 1080I is not the issue but because I can use a HDMI to DVI adapter and connect to the monitor and it works OK; It is, so I don't have the computer plugged into the DVI connector as I wanted.

My cable provider was kind enough to take the monitor and test. They discovered that one of their old version of (amino) cable boxes works very well with the monitor. They swapped the box and it worked well since.

I use my cable provider HDMI cable, so I don't know the spec version that is.

My advice to anyone affected by the flashing HDMI display is to get a HDMI/DVI adapter and try it. They are supplied with a certain monitors so that they are fairly easy to find if you know someone who works in a computer SCIENCE Department. If the monitor displays the signal correctly then the question is probably the cable box or as another poster suggested, the cable can be out of spec.

It is convenient to have the double monitor as a TV. The image quality is superb, but the sound is not. I do not understand why manufacturers monitor for skimping on the speakers. A monitor with its 'premium quality' would be a point of sale, and buyers would be happy to pay for the upgrade. I don't know about a lot of people like me it's simplify - remove the clutter and cables of our offices. HP are you listening?

  • Connection Satellite L750D to the TV with HDMI cable

I tried to connect a laptop L750D to a Phillips TV but none is displayed on the TV and the message on the TV is «unsupported video»

When I connected the laptop to the TV and turned on the laptop, it's in restart mode and the messages showed on TV, but as soon as windows has started to the top of the screen of the TV turned blue and the "unsupported video" message appeared.

I then plugged a laptop HP pavilion g series to the TV with the HDMI cable and using the same port HDMI on the TV and the computer screen is appeared on television right now.

    Can someone help me please?

    Hello

    Try this:
Both devices (TV and laptop) must be turned off but connected with a HDMI cable.
Then turn on the TV and the laptop.
After Windows has started, use the Fn + F5 secret key to switch the video output to TV.
    Is this possible?

By the way: have you chosen the right graphic resolution and supported?
Don't forget that you TV supports the resolution which has been chosen!

  • I am trying to configure my laptop so I can watch a show on my TV with an HDMI cable. It doesn, t work

I have a Pavilion dv7 laptop.  Windows 7 64-bit.  I am watching a video from my laptop to my tv using a HDMI cable and can't seem to get that issue.  Is there a key to seting it upward?

    Hello

    1. first thing I would check: the cable itself, which is its HDMI version, you may need 1.3 or higher? What is your TV (brand, model)?

2 with the right cable, try the following steps

    (a) turn off the television and laptop

    ends (b) connecting cable

    (c) turn on the TV menu TV allows to accept PC signals (laptop)

    (d) turn on the laptop, go to display you should see TWO screens (1 and 2), select TV

    Kind regards
