    in illustrator, you must track of images > photo high fidelity > expand first

    You can then use the effects

    or in photoshop, something like

    Image > adjustment > reverse

    image > adjust > curves to darken the face more

    Select background, and then apply a gradient orange

  • JQuery Slideshow inside a tank made in photoshop?

    Is this possible?

    my 'container' is a banner for the top of the page of Web sites. It has been cut with a border around it and information within the banner.

    I would like to know how I can kind of get a slide show inside this container, I have positions, all together and I have 3 test photos, I can use.

    Also, I would like to know if it is possible to integrate a navigation bar created in fireworks in a right to the empty space under the banner, or I would be better to make this transparent area and just move the bar in dreamweaver until it is where I want to?

    It is a bit complicated, but all I really want to know is can I do where my static image is currently in a slide show. I have already composed slideshow, it works correctly how I want it.

    Thanks for any help, I'm not dead set on the slide show I like it may not work. But if push comes to shove I will rig it so it does not hahaha.

    I do it all the time.

    To make the slide show, I use jQuery and Cross-Slide Tobia Conforto for jQuery plugin. There are instructions here and also has links to download jQuery.

    I place cross-Slide and jQuery in a js folder in the Web site. It will be uploaded to the server with the rest of the site.

    Then in Photoshop, I use the save for Web and devices to create JPEG, GIF or PNG files that are of suitable size for the site. If I need a text over the top image or a logo or other elements, I set above a layer in Photoshop and change underlying images below these layers to constitute a series. You can see an example of this type of layering here.

    As you can see from this example, I indicated for images, all in a div which is just above the navigation.

    The JavaScript code that makes the blades to change is here:

    The div with the slide show is called #topslide. I have the names of 'generic' for each photo, so if my client does not like #3 of the series, it is easy to just make a new one and save it in my folder/images/banner, then download.

    One thing to notice is that, after the call to HR-Chiro - Masthead04.jpg there is no comma. This is essential, because Internet Exploder will only show you the slideshow if you leave only by commas. Other browsers will be.

  • Installation of Photoshop has caused all the image files Hang PC when clicked

    I installed Photoshop on my PC of 10 windows recently. It works fine, but now when I right click on any photo on my PC (to get the properties, for example), hangs it PC for more than 30 seconds, which doesn't look much, but believe me, it is maddening if you do this a lot.

    I went in the settings to "Default programs" of Windows and made sure Photoshop is not the default for .jpg and .png files. Which made no difference. I have no idea what else to try, short of uninstalling Photoshop.

    Thanks in advance for any advice on this.

    One note, under windows, it is also tasks and services. These are modified in the computer management console.

  • Images Photoshop look washed out in the first

    Some of my photos from Photoshop CC 2015 (and bridge) established first as psd files (and some jpg) appear washed out and less than the original. Many times they are not, however. I tried 'Original Edition or retouching in Photoshop' first, but that doesn't help - the Photoshop and Bridge image simply looks different from the first a. I need first look the same good Photoshop image edited.

    One point: I have worked in Photoshop CC 2015 (subscription of $9.99 / month Photographers') but in Premiere Pro 5.5. When this issue came up, I started a trial of first Pro CC version, and the problem persists.

    Help, please.

    Thank you very much for the offer. While I was waiting I kept trying this or that. I think it is now resolved: If you're doing a "save under", instead of a backup and then uncheck the box "ICC profile: Adobe RGB 1998", the changes made in Photoshop and then reflected in first. " I have not yet seen of workaround still works, but hope.

    If I'm going to continue to work in PrP5.5 or go to PrPCC is always open. 5.5 works faster for me because I have to recognize my card Nvidia 260 (minor hack), and the Mercury engine is effect. I can't get the PRP to do, and will have either a hack or a new video card. All the suggestions of the hack or an affordable card?

    That's what I want to achieve in Illustrator. (made with photoshop)

    That's what I have so far.

    Y at - there anyone who can help?

    Thank you guys so much!
    Jaro

    =)

    Try this:

    Draw your Q and expand etc, so it's a compound path.

    Draw another circle and set it to no fill and put a line on it (nice and FAT) so it covers the whole of the Q.

    apply a gradient to the race of the circle and select that option below average where is said to be linear.

    Then use the Q as a clipping on the circle with the gradient path.

  • Current version of Photoshop CC?

    Hi all -

    I use the version of subscription of the CC of Photoshop and make sure that mine is displayed as 14.2.1 x 64 (and displayed as Photoshop CC upward in the header). Earlier, I look a a tutorial Photoshop, where they talked about a new flame filter and I don't see in my filters list. -So my current Photoshop version? I made a Photoshop-> help-> check "updates... "and Adobe Application Manager said: I am current. Am I? Not sure why the flame filter would be unavailable otherwise.

    Thanks for any info, that the community may have,

    You need photoshop cc 2014.2. which is the latest version of photoshop.

    Open the creative application of clouds, and then under Update Applications I think it is listed above as an update to photoshop.

    (do not know why it is labeled as an update since it of a completely separate Photoshop version 14.2.1 and does not replace the old version)

  • Spot color CMYK implemented using linked in Illustrator from Photoshop

    I need to use a black spot on some packaging. The black spot will be a sticker on the top a picture of the product that is made in Photoshop. I created the packaging in Illustrator and you need to import this file, but it must have the intact spot color. So far, I created a PSD with a spot channel, I thought was the answer but Illustrator can't read PSD files with spot channels. Then I taped an earnings per share, but when I import an EPS it shows a white rectangle as opposed to the real work.

    Can someone help me with this? Thank you!!

    Ok. To the CS5 version you must register a DCS 2.0

  • Brushes bristle pixelated in situs against the importation of "smooth" areas under the objectives of Photoshop

    Sorry about the title of long breath on this point. When I need a contour softened in some parts of an illustration, the gradient mesh option is much too long for me.  No doubt some of you can work the stitch quickly but I think it's a bit of a drag!  When the bristles brushes came, I thought this would be the answer to my problem.  The brushes look great and work just fine.  But when I want to save the file, Adobe advises to rasterize the brushes. Now these areas 'smooth' could have been made in Photoshop and saved out as 'bits' in tif format. Indeed, these special small ares could even be retouched. My client still wants my vector illustrations in the form of PDF files. The funny thing is, if I simply vectorize small parts of my illustration Illustrator, he was still classified as a vector file. If, however, he became an Illustrator file with embedded targets, oddly, looks like 'cheating '.  I'd love to hear your lives on this point, the people.  Thank you in advance.

    I could have created mixtures, but why bother when the blur effect does the job?

    Because often, you really don't want the work to entirely made up of vector traces. In addition, because you have more control over the shape of highlighting / shading and possibility of edit, refine, reshape when you want without restarting and without loss of quality.

    This is where it becomes a question of jurisdiction. For example: while programs like Illustrator has started playing with on-the-fly generated pixelation effects - and even more before long of gradient mesh - Corel Draw (version 8, I think that it is) a photo-realistic vector near Judy Garland of drawing on the cover of his book featured. (It was actually a winner in a contest of Corel). You will find countless examples of this kind of thing that goes back decades and containing nothing else than traces (using graduates and mixes for shading).

    For example, these are completely degraded to focused on the mixture of vector employing no pixelation (effects in live or not) at all:

    Because these things are applied programmatically, they are build-once /-unlimited use.

    These two images are an example of the variety of raster/vector 'hybrid' (rasterize live effects applied to tracks). They are actually two instances of the drawing "even". The first was done as an experimental demonstration in answer to a question in this forum to draw clouds. The second was a modification of the same file in response to a thread later on drawing of lightning.

    I didn't not redraw the clouds in the second example. I just modified the. In other words, even if the final result depends on the pixelation effects (blur), these effects are applied, removed and re - apply automatically on-the-fly that I change the underlying traces. I can scale, reorganize, re - stack, recolor, duplicate, reshape these clouds * objects *- and even change the settings of pixelation - without degradation of re-rasterization of the final output.

    This example is the same kind of effects at the level of the raster object to a little bit of the extreme:

    The truck was designed entirely as traces in Xara Xtreme (now called Xara Designer Pro). But the vast majority of the thousands of individual paths also have dynamic to the level of objects and rasterized transparency blur (what Xara interface labels feather) applied. It's primary application-to-watchmaking of Xara. Many cases of effects of rasterization in a single Illustrator file would stifle the performance. But I can edit this drawing in real-time in Xara, almost imperceptible performance promptly.

    So in this example, I have the advantages of both worlds: the versatility, scalability, control form and editability traces - and easy quick access to apply graduated frame of transparency (as opposed to mixtures, even if the design has a lot of mixes, too, and even some mixtures in flag).

  • Photoshop batch in bulk Action printing out of Order

    I've got 900 files that I need to print. I created an action simply prints the active document, then the farm. The problem is photoshop of print files in a random order. The files are sorted numerically, it should display in order.

    I go to file-> automate-> Batch and select the print action that I have saved and define the folder that contains the image files. The image files are all labelled numerically merging all the data that I made in photoshop.

    The problem is, although this list is in numerical order, photoshop will display these in a random order. For example, the folder containing the image files is listed below in the correct order.

    example.jpg

    Rather, photoshop print in this order: CustomMailer_Data Set 1, CustomMailer_Data the value 10, CustomMailer_Data Set 11, CustomMailer_Data Set 12, CustomMailer_Data the value 13, CustomMailer_Data Set 14, CustomMailer_Data Set 16

    Please help, I really need this action in bulk for printing in the order, I have no idea what doing the program.

    Sorry, I had not finished all the text, finger problem!

    Please try this to fix the file names...

    var f = Folder.selectDialog( "Please select source folder");
    var fileList = f.getFiles("*.psd");
    for(var a in fileList){
        var nums = decodeURI(fileList[a].name).match(/\d+/);
        var newName = "CustomMailer_Data Set " + zeroPad(nums,4) + ".psd";
        fileList[a].rename(newName);
    }
    function zeroPad(n, s) {
       n = n.toString();
       while (n.length < s)  n = '0' + n;
       return n;

  • Print/objects in Illustrator CMYK, background in Photoshop RGB

    It's something that I did some time now without any problems yet, but I would like to know if it is a 'proper' or 'good' technique.

    Essentially putting something together for printing, I work in Illustrator, the text and some objects like vectors. Then configure my backgroung in Photoshop.

    Illustrator document is configured as CMYK, but the background is in RGB, it allows me to use things like filter overlay etc.

    I then place the background in Illustrator and just assume that the colors that don't print will be adjusted automatically by the Illustrator to export.

    Am I right to assume that good?

    Theoretically, you should be able to use RGB images in CMYK files and features (color calibration) are the so-called 'color management' will produce the best conversions CMYK 'possible' appropriately for the target output device.

    However, requires that you work in and understand, a workflow configured properly "managed color' with the correct settings of your monitor on the final print device. (And frankly, if you understand this, you wouldn't ask that question.)

    Realistically, people place RGB images in page layout (design) programs and for decades without problems. They often don't admit it, but it is true. Really, it boils down to two considerations:

    • How color-critical are raster images?
    • How the 'picky' are you?

    Especially if you are one of these creators of prima donna "sensitive artist" who are convinced that they have some color Super humanly increased discernment (gag me) and are simply too learned to never be bothered by something so funny that technical considerations, then you have a lot to learn and you will never be satisfied well-formed output CMYK , and still less the reality hard and cold physically inevitable RGB to CMYK conversion of the compromise.

    But if the project at hand allows you to focus on the practice regarding color accuracy - to-the original and have realistic expectations, most of the workflow auto conversions may be fine for your needs.

    For example, suppose that the raster image is a cartoon, or just a kind of model no objective. In many cases, minor color changes are not really a problem, because nobody in the 'true' color of the original.

    Conversely, suppose that the raster image is a recognizable subject. You wouldn't a greenish blue sky to go or someone tired to go pale.

    It's something that I did some time now without any problems yet, but I would like to know if it is a 'proper' or 'good' technique.

    Of course, it is not 'correct' or 'good '. Best practices, is to only use CMYK color corrected in documents CMYK images. It's just that sometimes, on certain types of projects, it is not really important for all purposes useful.

    For example, I frequently produce technical documents which are delivered via the two composite characters on request and small and efficient interactive PDF format. I'm developing separate versions of RGB and CMYK documents; that would be ridiculous. Photos and vector graphics involved are not critical of color and RGB works very well.

    If you are a serious Designer, you should work with CMYK (in most cases) images and learn more about color calibration of standard practices, but also (and probably more importantly still) learn more about the correction of the color and how to exploit the benefits of RGB and CMYK and Lab to improve of the images for CMYK printing.

    I also frequently produce ads for placement in magazines. I have full CMYK, usual pre-press and practical standards, build them and sweat blood over the realization of optimal color.

    Illustrator document is configured as CMYK, but the background is in RGB, it allows me to use things like filter overlay etc.

    In other words, there are some things you can do in RGB that you can't do in CMYK mode. Guess what: it's nothing new. For example, correction of same color color-critical movements are quite often made in Photoshop in RGB. I'll sometimes use a copy of a RGB channel to change the CMYK channels. But when the image is completed, it is converted to CMYK for the final placement on the page.

    The same can be done in Illustrator. You can work in an RGB document and use the effects of RGB if you want, then flatten transparency and convert all to CMYK. Consider: you can use RGB effects throughout the day, but if you want to be printed using the standard CMYK, all your stuff of RGB color separation will be converted to CMYK before the ink hits the paper somewhere . It's just a matter where that will happen. You can control yourself or entrust it to some automagic along the railroad stage (i.e.; abandoned).

    But if you do use RGB images in projects for the CMYK separation, you must be realistic and understand that the garish neon colors you see on your monitor just won't be mapped in CMYK mode. For example, bright blues will go significantly desaturated, Cyan being the weakest ink in CMYK. If you can consider this rules of thumb and just take what you get. But don't whine (as one of the aforementioned tenors) your print results are "flat" or 'not vibrant' or 'disorder' or 'bad '.

  • Rendering of Photoshop

    So I'm pretty new to try to add color/texture for some of my work in Illustrator, I've been giving it a go with basic brushes and using different opacitys to add color and trying to give it a feeling. Here's what I did until now, can anyone suggest any improvement or advice/tips on how to make feel more "real"? I've seen certain renderings made in photoshop that look almost photo realistic, someone has any advice on how to achieve this effect?

    That's what I have so far:

    Capture.PNG

    I know it needs shadows but I didn't know how to add or the best conditions, I saw people using Gaussian blur on a black line and it superimposed behind the actual image, this is the best way to get a shadow effect? Besides I have a mouse at the minute and I recently invested in a wacom bamboo tablet, the tablet will help produce photo realistic renderings?

    Thanks for any advice that anyone can give, its much appreciated.

    Looking good - you're a quick learner.

    Try one additional thing: activate the Dodge tool in the tools Panel, and then set it to the midtones, check protect tones and set it on a level of exposure to 10%.  Then select a big, fuzzy brush and brush lightly over the parts you want to appear closer to you and which reflect a bit of light - that is the part of the leg right in the centre.  Tool engraving does exactly the opposite - he rushes things.  These tools can help you define a protrusion of the ankle, for example.  I find subtle operations Burn and Dodge, a quick way to add a little depth very subtle image.

    Dodge, it is also quite often a good technique for the clarification of the faces in the photos.
