  At one point in the upgrades of the Mavericks with El Capitan, broken rules in Apple Mail.

  I used to have a rule: If the [email protected] message arrives, copy it into an IMAP folder - so I can see it on my devices - and move it to my local folder for xyz.com

  It has worked well for years. Now what's happening is the position, the rules of the switch and since that movement occurs, the copy is not.

  I tried to delete and re-create the rules, but they always return to move before copy as soon as you close the window. When you return to Edit, Move is the first.

  Is there an action Applescript or automator can I run instead of the rule to restore the functionality I need?

  If these are two separate rules, mail-> Preferences-> drag window rules the rules in the correct order. Execution is top at the bottom of this window.

  As an alternative, go to Control Panel , and then change the view by [in the top right] the categories large icons or small iconsview.

  In doing so, the entry of mail will always appear when you open the Control Panel in the future.

  You can, if you wish, just right-click on the mail entry & select Create shortcut.  This is put on your desktop, but you can then move it somewhere else more convenient for you.

  You can try to go to System Preferences/iCloud and checking Mail synchronization. If this does not work, go to Finder and select your user folder. With this Finder window as the windshield, select Finder/display/display options for presenting or order - J.  When the display options opens, check "show the library folder. This should make your visible user library folder in your user folder.  Select Library/Mail/V2/MailData and copy this folder on the portable computer.

• URGENT update for Thunderbird - mailing list is broken

  The most recent update to Thunderbird broke mailing lists. Trying to send a message to a list to get an error message. test dialog box is as follows:
  Invalid delivery address.
  [entry from the list on the 'To' line] is not an email address valid because it is not the form user@host. You need to fix it before you send the e-mail. »
  I tried to recreate the mailing list (49 names!), no change. I used this (and other mailing lists) for years, so I'm positive, that it ruptured during the last update to Thunderbird. I hope that you appoint it as a critical issue since mailing lists are a crucial function of a mail client. More I do several mailings a month to this list, and typing in 49 names each time by hand isn't funny (just finished with the message of today ' hui).

  I had a problem sending mail to a list that I had used successfully in Eudora. Imported from Eudora and it has not been accepted in Thunderbird with the above error message. My name of the list was of 2 words. I deleted the space between the 2 words and can now send mail to this list successfullly.

  The XP System I used for e-mail for years died. The hard drive is OK. My mail is on it. I was wondering if I could import the e-mail folders in Thunderbird on my new PC for Windows 8.1 install the hard drive from the old PC and pointing Thunderbird for mail Outlook Express store on the old drive. Clear Outlook Express isn't alive on the new PC, so the usual instructions "import" seem not to apply. However, what I want to do looks like it should be possible.

  as above, I have an all in one printer scanner Deskjet 2540, 81-32-bit windows-based, using the chrome browser.

  I've never printed successly JPEG at the request of file or email.

  Whenever I try to use it, it transfer itself on my pc in the form of small blocks lying each containing a few letters of the page that has been scanned, it distributes itself a new scan for each block number, IE when I click to see, a single block presents itself with a few letters in in.

  Mail rules apply to the new unread messages in the Inbox only. Open Mail preferences, select the rules tab and add a rule. The rules are different in the messaging applications, but you should have no problem setting up a similar to the one above:

  Back up all data.

  and they only contain the default rules as spam & new Apple when I try to delete one any of these rules and reload the apple mail they just don't back it is as I have no power to change the rules in apple mail or create my own custom rules. as soon as I simply deleted and sever, recorded in a file called MessageRules.plist
