  You can try the following steps in case of problems with web pages:

  You can reload webpages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

  My touchpad mouse no longer works correctly.  I'm unable to double-click, even after changing the speed setting in the control panel.  In addition, items are selected when appropriate without a click.   There are extreme measures you can take.  One is either movement store the content of the message to another directory and WinMail starts it will be a clean message store (or you can simply rename the directory from the old Windows Mail message store and then create a new directory named Windows Mail which will begin to empty).  The other is to back up the registry key to Winmail (see www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx#wm) and then remove it and then start WinMail and who must rebuild the registry key.  The first allows to compensate for a corrupt message store (you can use the file |) Import | Messages into the plu message store you renamed) and the second allows to compensate for a corrupted under the WinMail key registry hive.  I suspect the first manoeuvre will fix the problem, but I don't know.

  But those who are basically last stations.  I would like to save things before you do anything that anyone else.

  Hi guys,.

  I get a lot of spam and incongruous emails, most of which don't deserve to be read. I ususally just select all and press "cmd + shift + U" to mark all read or not read. Suddenly, I noticed that this shortcut no longer works for me and even though it is a very minor problem, it is kind of annoying and I'd love to fix it.

  Basically, when I press "cmd + shift + u" now, he is not mark as read – instead it brings up a finder window with the option "open" files (the same window that appears when you click the paper clip in a new email to browse attachments), and I have no idea why!

  In Mail the shortcut should be the same, it is said it is the same shortcut in the drop-down menu, and I have not changed anything. I don't know what the finder window that appears is for, if I actually use it to open a file and then disappears from the window but nothing of actually opens or is happening. What's weird, is that when you use the shortcut to "mark as unread" and the finder window appears, it actually becomes the selected window - mail is still selected. And, therefore, this means that if you continue to press the shortcut to "mark as unread", it will be permanently open these "File Explorer" finder windows... which I've never seen elsewhere.

  Anyone who has a solution?

  

  So much worse... After weeks of being confused, that just now, I realize what the problem was.

  I installed the Puush application to quickly download screen shots and files... and guess what it was shortened by default for the "upload file"...

  Upgraded from vista ultimate to windows 7 problems with my eject button and other buttons on my laptop. They no longer work. Storage of mass and those problems?

  Please help me to get my laptop working again as I am not able to use my recovery disks that the laptop does not recognize the disc 2 so I'm stuck with Windows 7. The buttons on the phone IE, eject, s1, s2 and volume do not work and I have a mass storage controller problem it says no driver?. I tried and tried to find one, but I can't. I asked Sony for the replacement of the recovery disks and they want forty quid and I argued its their fault the disks didn't copy correctly in the first place so they should give them for free, but they do not really give a xxxx.  I'm not very high on the ins and outs of computers so if you are kind enough to help me please keep in terms simple lol. • AutoFill no longer works correctly.

  A few days ago, I decided to try to use DashLane to help with the management of my password. Not that Firefox did a bad job or anything like that, but I just... "what the devil." After about 2 days of trying to get DashLane to quit trying to save every little thing I was working, I had enough and uninstalled.

  Since that time, my Firefox passwords did not work correctly at all. They're here, but unless I seized the first letter of the user name, the password will not be displayed. Before, I didn't do anything. I tried several methods have been proposed to others on the forum, but without success. I'm at a point where I want to just uninstall Firefox altogether and start over again.

  Any thoughts? I thank everyone's help in this case.

  FOUND THE SOLUTION!

  Went to https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/?utm_source=firefox-com & utm_medium = referral Firefox and where it says "Refresh Firefox", just clicked on the button and it automatically does the rest.

  Sure that after installing Dashlane somehow hijacked my Firefox browser, but after an uninstall, made out clearly what he needed. Sometimes I think these kinds of things are intentional by the publishers of software, just to make you feel that you have to come back.

  In any case, this solves my problem entirely, and AutoFill works superbly!

  Try the keyboard on another Mac or PC. If it still fails, you know the keyboard is broken. You can also try the keyboard when it is started in recovery as a basic test mode. That will tell you if the keyboard works well when a single copy of the operating system is running without all your installed applications.

  Select the option to browse the web to try the keyboard in Safari in recovery mode.

  If the device is 2010, you should seek to buy a new device, otherwise if it is new & still in warranty, return it to the store or the manufacturer.

• Synaptics Touchpad no longer works correctly

  Hello Internet!

  Hear my fate and tremble: I recently updated my drivers from the official manufacturer website Synaptics touchpad.  Before the update I could press twice on the upper left of the touchpad to enable and disable the touchpad.  It is a convenient feature that I have grown very fond of.  However, after the update this feature no longer works!  I'm so devastated...  I really enjoyed watching the pretty light outline of my touchpad to turn to a hurt red when it has been disabled.  I suppose I could return the drivers back to their old form, but I wanted to check if anyone knew a separate fix so that I could have as well the new drivers and the old features that I loved so much.

  I see that you updated your driver from the manufacturer's website.  HP recommends that the drivers listed on the HP driver page.  These drivers have all been tested and known to work properly. When you install the drivers of the manufacturing site, they may or may not work properly with your laptop.  Can of OEM and sometimes change a driver so that it works properly with your exact laptop.

  Download or update of software and drivers for HP computers

  If you don't have a problem with the old driver, I suggest you do a roll back driver.

  15.3.11.0 is the version recommended for your laptop and Windows 7.

• Why my att/yahoo email no longer works correctly?

  [this is my second attempt to post; first effort not allowed because I have not had permission -?]

  I can open any email, as usual. Links in an email seem to work, when I try them. However:

  Once I open an email, I can't delete it or close.
  When I click on "ACTIONS" or "new MESSAGE" a message "LOADING..." "never, apparently ends in a loop.

  When I click on "New MESSAGE", a text msg pops up at the bottom of my screen saying, in my view, what the computer is reading:

  US-mg205.mail.yahoo.com/Neo/Launch?.Partner=SBC & .rand=cgcse0vj3t121#/minty/page/compose

  If I try to remove it, the same msg appears, less "minty/page/dial."

  When I mouse - above or click the icon of the gear (settings) it runs simply and don't do anything. Same text msg, except instead of "minty/page/dial" it reads "yucs-help_inner".

  This situation occurred about two days ago on my laptop. The same email normally works with Safari on my Ipad, too on my laptop via Windows Live Mail (that I no longer use, but still the program). So, this seems to be a problem in Mozilla/Firefox?

  To maneuver around some by right click and open in a new tab. "Select a school" menu drop-down is a specific problem. Times many clicks of the mouse will open the page correctly. Always run into problems without response with a click or a lack of information.

  A number of updates have taken place recently, not sure where there is problem. I currently have Java disabled, but tried with it activated and no help. Uninstalled and reinstalled FireFox (18), no help. Thinking maybe a problem with FF 18 and Adobe Flash, but don't know what to do.

  Problem has been solved, the website now works properly. Suspect an update of FF 18.0.0 to 18.0.1 or something on the site solved the problem

  Hi, one of my accounts has ceased to receive emails on July 2. I tried to delete the .msf file (recommended in another thread), but it does not solve the problem. I also tried to disable SSL.

  My other accounts still work with Thunderbird, it's just the SpamArrest who is not. Their support team said that nothing has changed.

  I have reinstalled Thunderbird (latest) on another PC today, same problem. Valid password and Thunderbird can display files and displays their names, but does not download messages. Finally, it gives a message out "timed".

  I managed to get the same settings work in another mail client, Claws Mail, but I prefer we Thunderbird again. Screenshot attached.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  I am running Snow Leopard on an iMac mid-2011 and have mail version 4.6. Everything has been working for all these years, but a few days ago I lost the ability to view messages in a window by double clicking.

  If you go to the window/Mail, you have more than one window open? If so, try closing all but one.
