  Well, I'm starting to feel like I knew better, buy another HP printer after dismal luck with two all-in-one before.

  My J4580 already gives me headaches after only 6 or more months of use.

  The unit refuses to print, declaring "print cartridge problem: [Tri-Color] refer to device Documentation to troubleshoot."  Nothing in the help documentation.  The Habs is always 90% full.  Sometimes pulling the Habs and placing back in crazy wil it restarting.  When it restarts, it prints perfectly.

  I tried the ubiquitous "clean the contacts" and other instructions help generic that I saw, but those who were without help.  The "Solution Center (Yes, good)" appears and all ithas is a link to buy more ink (!).

  Someone has an idea?  I'm about to throw it through the window of stores office, given that I can't throw it out the window of HP.

  Yes * I know * and I'm sorry that I forgot to come back here.  I had a major system crash and I had to reinstall a lot of drivers for my multimedia player, GPS, and printer (!).  As this occurs, the device did not return this error - touch wood.

• X930D Major problem with HDR content

  I'm having a major problem with my new X930D and frankly, that's a deal breaker for me. When you play any HDR content on Amazon or Netflix TV goes to the HDR mode automatically and there is no way to return home (my favorite display mode). Picture mode is simply disabled. The HDR mode is actually very well, BUT local dimming is grayed out in HDR mode and I want to have to DISABLE COMPLETELY. That is my ultimate goal: getting OFF local dimming while playing the HDR content. So is there a way to:

  (1) force the photo for anything other than HDR mode mode so that the local dimming can be disabled

  OR

  (2) the strength of Local Dimming OFF (perhaps via the service menu)?

  OR

  (3) affect Amazon/Netflix steady stream in mode 4 k instead of HDR mode

  If it is not all viable options for me that I will need to return this ASAP. Thank you in advance for your help!

• Problem installing Production Premium CS5.5

  A few years ago, I tried to install my CS5.5 newly purchased on my computer. It would not install because an uninstall of CS 5 had stopped leaving the remains of the old installation that was interfering with the new facility. I worry not about this at the time because I installed an SSD with a cost of Win 7. Fortunately, the CS 5.5 installed on this drive and has worked ever since. Unfortunately, the car was damaged and I had to resort to the old disk that has been upgraded to win 10. I was hoping it would erase the vestiges of the old installation and allow CS5.5 install, but I still have the problem.

  Is it possible that I can erase all traces of the old installation of the drive?

  Please keep in mind that I was running 5.5 on my computer for years so the hardware implemented is unrelated to the installation problem.

• Problem with color, too saturated exported images management

  I have an image in Photoshop (CS5, Windows 7) that I wanted to export to PDF and print it, but then I noticed the colours varied considerably making the result unusable.

  The image is composed in AdobeRGB and I work on a wide range of screen (Dell U2711) I calibrated and profiled with a Spyder4.

  In Photoshop, the image contains a beautiful dull light brown but when I open the PSD in Illustator or InDesign or when I export it as a PDF and view it in Acrobat, it is much too red in it. I enclose below an example of how the colors look like in Photoshop (left) and the rest of the system (right):

  

  (Note: this is a JPEG AdobeRGB, so the consultation on a normal range screen might not show as much difference that it is actually)

  This color shift is very extreme, and I don't know what the cause of the problems. I tried different profiles for my monitor (the only one I created with the Spyder, the profile of the Dell factory, the standard profile from AdobeRGB, no profile at all etc..). While the color has obviously changed a bit the problem as a whole has not changed: Photoshop shows the beautiful yellow brown, other applications show a very reddish image. The difference is even noticeable quite highly on my second monitor which is just a normal range of the screen with a range of about 73% of the sRGB colors.

  I also tried to export to a flat JPEG with no embedded profile that makes the result a little better, but the colors are still not accurate at all. It's very confusing because I don't know what the problem is and I don't know if it's just Photoshop the wrong colors or if other applications just to bad color management.

  It would be great if you could help me out here.

  P.P.S. opening the image/PDF exported in Photoshop, product colors you want, once again, is not a weird conversion causing issues.
  

  If it is not the right profile, there would be at least two independent yet more fake profiles that I spend in assinging profiles of good and evil. I doubt it. I'm sure that Windows and Photoshop use the right profiles. Both monitors independently change when assinging different profiles and colors in Photoshop always will change accordingly.

  Applications that do not seem to choose the right profile are Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat. When I do the primary external monitor they display the colors correctly. But as soon as I do the laptop monitor the main display colors aren't yet.

  So I guess that Windows and Photoshop are doing everything right, but Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat use only the profile of the main screen. So on the range wide screen it is obviously all saturated (especially in red). However, when I put my main screen what they use it for both profile that specifies the range widescreen on the big screen and also quite accurate colours on the internal monitor because it's the color range is much smaller.

  I declare this a bug in these applications.

  None of these machines are connected through Sync or something like that. The Firefox instance on the virtual machine is a fresh install / clean.

  The problem:
  -100% of cpu usage for 10 seconds, (util in XP) memory usage goes up to 1.7 GB
  -If "subject: House" is actually the Firefox Start Page, it blocks the computer at startup of Firefox for 10 seconds
  -If "subject: House" isn't the Firefox Start Page, startup is fine - BUT if I press the "home" on the toolbar button it loads "on: House" which causes the same question once again

  Sounds that there is a problem with one of the code snippets that are responsible. I've seen several reports on this issue.

  You can set the browser.aboutHomeSnippets.updateUrl pref an empty string on the subject: the page of config to disable loading (new) checked to see if that helps.

  Make sure that you have not activated your antivirus software analysis of electronic mail.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 which is often a problem with receiving and sending a message.

  Then, try to go to file | Identities and setup a new identity.  This will give you a new message store and a new registry hive (where all the settings and account info is).  Add your email account and see if it works very well.  If it sticks sometimes, make sure that you are not setting to check messages too often (like every 3 minutes or somesuch).  You can also try to increase the timeout for the server where this is a problem (Tools |) Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced).  See if who deals with issues "" OE gel.  If Yes, then you can use the file | Import | Messages to bring them from the old identity.

  I do not know that moving to Outlook might solve the problem, because they both use the same mechanism to retrieve messages.  If you still have problems, come on and generate a log file and when OE freezes, which could give some indication of what is the underlying problem.  Make sure that you disable the log file later, because this file grows enormously and can cause problems if it becomes too large.

  The error-104 is the Android Runtime.  It indicates that the APK file that is trying the upgrade has been signed with a different key than the original.  It made no reference to any BlackBerry sign the file of the bar, but the certificate you use to sign the APK using ADT.  On an Android device, the same error occurs if you try to upgrade an APK that is signed with a different certificate.

  You can view the certificate that has been used on an APK file using a command like this:

  Hi all

  I am having a very strange (and needless to say, very annoying) problem with my Photoshop CS5 Extended. No knowledge or help would be very appreciated. FYI - I'm a photographer if my main use is image editing.

  Basically, every time I make a change to a layer (apply a filter or change blending modes), Photoshop does not reflect these changes, unless I hit it Ctrl + S for save or run another action (for example, by selecting another tool of the tool-set). For example, imagine this scenario:

  -J' open a PSD file containing only a background layer.

  -Duplicate the background layer

  -J' I change the blend mode 'multiply '.

  -Nothing is happening to the image (no visual changes even if the image should have gotten more dark)

  -Now, if I type Ctrl + S to save the document, the screen is refreshed and now I see the changes.

  I don't know what could be causing this. I have the 12.0.1 last patch installed. I went through my preferences to see if something needs to be checked, but nothing helped.

  Any help will be appreciated.
