  You don't need to have _global, but you can if you wish.  Still, you should get out of place the code on the objects and start now in the timeline panel.  This makes maintaining the scope of variables and it makes your code where it is easier to find.

I have a training project, with that I need to include a post test. I don't really like the captivate quizzes. I want the post-test to play as a ride on jeopady where the user chooses issues category and gets points if the user answers correctly. For this I must ask questions on a game board and (from what I can fig) you cannot have multiple questions on the same page. I'm building the quiz with my own custom variables and coded so that the program jumps to a page of the certificate if the user gets more than 84 points. THA all works very well. But I have to be able to tell the database that the program will connect with the user has passed the quiz. I thought I could do this if I assign the value 1 to the variable cpQuizInfoPassFail.   Hi Doug,.

  I don't see the version you are using. Each interactive object can be marked, has a report following properties in the control panel (if you use CP5 or CP5.5) or a tab in the Properties dialog box reports, if you use a different version. You must add a score (default value is normally 1 point) and make sure you add it to the total score.

  Is it possible to change the variables inside the camera from a computer outside? On the computer we program with CVI. We have a RS232 and TCP/IP connection.

  You use a LabVIEW or Vision Builder AI program the smart camera?

  There are several ways to Exchange data between a smart camera and CVI on the host computer.

  The easiest way is probably to use shared variables.

  If you use LabVIEW to program the smart camera, the following article explains how to create and deploy shared on the target variables.

  I'm in a test environment to determine if we are able to deploy an image of windows 7, which has been customized to include the required professional applications.

  My question is; is there a microsoft (WDS/MDT/other?) solution that allows me to make incremental changes to this custom image? for example if I need to update our payroll software, I will perform the update on a PC reference, download the image to, say, the WDS server and then I'll want to spread this change to users. In order to make this small change, I have to perform a complete reinstallation of the image personalized to each PC or is there a solution that allows me to update just the gradual change?

  Now that I'm on a Mac, it seems that when an image is in several catalogs and I make a change to it in a cat it is not recognized by the other.  Everything was stored in an attached file on the PC. The Mac version does not seem to do that. Is there a work around for this? Last thing I want to do, is work on an image in LR and find all of this work is to specific catalog.

  Check the option in the settings dialog box of the LR catalog for "automatic writing changes to XMP. This way all of your actual changes are written in an XMP Sidecar file and can be read by other catalogs, you could use.

  But ultimately you do yourself a favor by using more than one catalog. The whole point behind LR is to have all the images in one catalog on your main computer. Of course, it is find to use one second, another catalog on another computer, such as a laptop, you take on the twigs and then merge this another catalog in your main catalog when you return from the shoot.
