Make any changes required by Verizon & now T-Bird will not work

Verizon has close their old servers forcing me to change my Thunderbird e-mail server information. Everything is as they require - incoming is pop.verizon.net active SSL port 995 and outgoing is smtp.verizon.net active ssl port 465. Thunderbird is now unable to connect. No change of password, so it's not a problem. Incoming and outgoing timeout.

My wife just changed something on our router, and that solved the problem. Not sure why it worked before and then has not, but the problem solved.

  • Changed the time on pc and suddenly will not work Skype?

    Hi I just got this phone today and have already run into large sum of problems. I misclicked by set up of windows 8 and taken the wrong time zone, forget I did what I leave the laptop itself implemented, I didn't know it until I had already installed and was on Skype. I thought nothing of it, changed the clock to the correct time and now all of a sudden every time I send a message on Skype it just sends me upward into the conversation. I'm not all messages and I don't see any of the envoys of the mine. I uninstalled Skype 3 times and still can not solve it? I got Skype running on my desktop and thought maybe that was it but atlast, no. I am only signed on this laptop and can't use Skype. I even downloaded an older version it and still no luck.

    I run a malware scan as I tpye this, but I don't think it'll be very successful. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?

    In fact, I just thought to it. So I got to do some time apparently traveling thanks to me by clicking on the wrong time, I was 3 hrs behind, always in August 3. When I changed the time zone, he just changed the time and NOT the date. So, I was in the good times but the wrong date. Skype has been send all my messages and everything everyone elses to August 3 instead of 4 August 03:00 03:00. I feel like a complete fool for overlooking it, but I just thought that it would change the date with time.

  • Has taken pc in for Reg. gliches & fix, now the speakers will not work! Have chked everything I know, still sound like dubbing, or two channels at the same time?

    I run a custom built Tower pc, with windows xp svc pk 3 on this subject. ASUS MB brd. have a large woofer and two small tweets, it looks like that I play the song even in two places at the same time, only not synchronized.  All confused, lived all the diagnostic test can think and all say it works fine of course.  As a result, been combing of this Council, but can't really find something sufficiently specific for this problem.  Or if it's here, Miss me him!  For any help would be appreciated, I wish you my songs back!  I tried to play off of windows media and hard drive also.

I tried to use back ups of my external HARD drive, but nothing, still got the same message. In the same Message window, it asked me to insert an of my previously recovery disks. I tried two discs, but got the same message as before.

    My computer works always, but with a drive D: saturated, but if I do a full re-install, the computer back to its original state, I have to make copies of all my data (info from year 8) backup, or that I can then re - install the files on my external HARD drive?

  • HP 6520 will not work after changing the black ink cartridges

    Changed the cartridges and now black ink will not work. This is the second or third time only to change the cartridges - did not have a problem before, but of course, it is while the printer was still under warranty. It is now about a year and a half.

    I used all the suggested diagnosis - head cleaned, head aligned, etc, etc, etc, and nothing has helped.

    The black cartridge worked after the swap, but with a few lines do not print or missing--now produces almost nothing.

    You are able to get to a command prompt?  If so, run SFC/scannow to replace missing or damaged files.  Let us know if that helps.

    What version of office do you use?  If Office 2011, you must ensure that you are the 14.5.8 version at least, since 8 fixed the problem of synchronization.  Later seems to be 14.6.0 (update this morning).
