  When I try to start the Remote Access Connection Manager in services.msc, the service will not start. I get the same error: "Windows could not start the service of connection manager on the local computer remote access: Error 1068: the dependency service or group could start."  Also, I can not restore the system to come and let me run it.

  It is a Dell PP31L, which belongs to a friend who does not connect to the internet because of these error messages.

  When you try to install Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Express Edition, during the initial installation, I received an error message "WMI cannot be started. Further investigation has shown that Windows Network Management Instrumentation Service has been started and running. I ran several WMIDiag. tests (each time after attempting repairs recommended through Forums of Windows) and the last test still shows a lot of mistakes. During my research, I came to suspect a problem with repository. I tried a solution, advocated by Halima S to rogerland February 12, 2010, in this forum, does not. I am running Windows Vista Home Premium on a computer Dell Desktop Inspiron 530 s dual-started with Linux Mandriva and Ubuntu. I am getting very frustrated trying to solve this problem. An error Code that I received was 0X800700C1 I studied and discovered that it could indicate a problem of major system outside of the WMI class. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  Try to review this article - especially in the upper part. http://msdn.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa394603(v=vs.85).aspx  There are links to WMi troubleshooting downloads, links to the troubleshooting of WMi, links to the creation of newspapers which can help to identify the problem and much more.  Maybe one of these links allows you to solve problems with WMI (and I think that the procedure I gave above only apply to XP, that's why he did ' t work - I'm sorry, he said, it is also applied to Vista, but I guess they were wrong).

  I don't know why, but I can't find this utility anywhere...  I wanted to try and learn to set up, but put the Update Manager download service in the downloads of product search can't find...

  I have Toshiba Satellite U400-138 with Intel WiFi Link 5100.

  Some companies - such as Cisco and Citrix - use * deterministic Network Enhancer *: a service that allows other services (like VPN) use the computer hardware. And my company uses the Cisco VPN client.

  It is not possible to use the Cisco VPN Client by wireless with my Toshiba Satellite U400-138. The reason is * deterministic Network Enhancer * (DNE). DNE is installed with my card Ethernet Marvell Yukon (no problem), but Intel WiFi Link 5100 does not allow installing DNE. If you open "Network connections", if you look at the 'properties' of each connection after installation of the Cisco VPN client deterministic network (DNE) is only associated with Marvell Yukon. But I can't use VPN on my WiFi.

  I think that this problem DNE may be an issue for other customers of Toshiba as Cisco and Citrix them frequently use in their products. For example, my company have invested to Cisco VPN.

  I have a 4.8.01.0300 client installed on a machine WinXP SP2, speaking with a VPN3000 concentrator and its working very well through the VPN. My client complained however that when you use the machines with the client installed on their local network, they get notice of ongoing disconnection of their offline files and synchronize the failures. If manually stop us the service of cvpnd.exe, the problem goes away. Affecting the service manual and start the service instantly back again the issue.

  Does anyone have this seen before or know a fix?

  Please check if the dynamic firewall is enabled or disabled. Please make sure that it is disabled. To check, the client VPN application and goto startup options. You should see Stateful firewall. It must be unchecked.

  While I can't give you a solution, I can share that I had a similar problem with an SRM installation.  Like yours, mine was a working facility which, for some strange reason, began to exhibit the same symptoms.  Start the service, in a second or two, stopped service.

  I opened a ticket with VMware on the issue and in more than three months of back and fourth Exchange with various Tech support I have ever received a satisfactory answer on what caused it.  The 'solution' they gave me was to remove the database SQL RS and re - install SRM.  This 'solution' has worked, but if this question comes up, I'll probably have to back unpleasant, emphasizing the fact that they solve the problem.

  I wish I could be more help, but that's it.  I feel your pain.

  I have an admin server and 2 managed servers. I want to create a windows service so that my server admin and 2 managed servers start as a windows service.

  but I have problems understanding as the documentation lacks some important points. It says that I need to create a custom startup script.

  Rep. : The name is not important. The values contained in the script should be relevant to your area of work environment.

  The values in the pasted script refers to the environment of the author, replace them with your own environment settings.

  You can specify the servername, DomainName, USERDOMAIN_HOME, WL_HOME according to your environment.
