Manager application Adobe has stopped working

A few days ago, Acrobat Professional XI decided it would not start.  I have uninstalled, reinstalled, but I get the same behavior.  Specifically, "Adobe Application Manager has stopped working - windows can check online...» "Details of the problem areCapture.JPG

How can I solve this?

Although Adobe proclaims their commitment to customer support, there don't seem to be a way to communicate with them to try to work through this, other than this forum.  No phones.  no emails.   No cat.

    Update 7/22: I'm starting to suspect a problem of interactions between turn off Vista and [printer] HP Digital Imaging Monitor.  I tried to disable it via msconfig, a couple of days and have not seen the mistakes regularly ever since, but the jury is still pending for another week or two.   I'll report after awhile.

    It is too early to point a finger because we know that all of them have well worked normally in the past and they seem equally at risk of corruption.  For example, I have no these errors when you use the same software HP on my Win7 PC and I don't have these errors for a few months after that the reconstruction of my Vista laptop, so I'm suspecting some piece of software has become corrupted (something in Vista), or something the tracking software program, some windows or component or registry setting software execution to one who relies on the HP printer.

    I'm trying to access some files from a PC full .vhd file on my external hard drive backup. I tried to use Virtual Server, but can't see all of the files. When I tried WInImage, I could 'see' the files I wanted access (users - my documents), but then the program stopped working and gave me the message "file application WinImage has stopped working." What else can I do to access these files? I am running Vista Ultimate 64-bit. Thank you

    So the only way I can think is to expand the VHD file first and then out the files. Otherwise, you are only viewing.

    My 8 Adobe has stop working and now I am unable to open everything about Adobe. I tried to update to the latest cersion, but don't succeed.

    The most recent version is Adobe reader X (10)

    I do as suggested by Azam and uninstall the previous version. Have you tried a system restore to an earlier date and then tried to uninstall. If you click on "help" in the toolbar of the Adobe Reader there may be an option "repair Adobe installation".

    You could also try to reinstall Reader 8 and try once again an uninstall.

    If all else fails I try and install Reader X in any case if you have a corrupted version of the 8

    Since you talk about Microsoft, I guess you're on Windows.

    Can you open Reader by itself?  If so, try to disable the Protected Mode [Edit |] Preferences | (Improved) security].

  • Utility power management Portege A100 has stopped working

    The power management utility has stopped working and when I try to save the profile of Laptop/portable power management screen control panel I get a message saying that the power cannot be defined as two revision levels are incompatible.

    I have a Satellite Pro U400 running Vista Business (OEM) and at the start of a desktop computer TrueSuite Manager pop-up message appears telling me there is an update to install.

    I think that it is a simple case of corrupted registry entries and files that could belong to the TrueSuite Manager software.

    I agree with the previous user, and I recommend to reinstall this software again.
    You may need to clean the OS before installing the Truesuite again.
    In this case, I recommend the CCLenaer. It s a simple and free tool and can be downloaded on most Web sites.

    Am having a problem with my Blackberry Curve to my office data synchronization.

    Had two crashes of disk in two weeks. Later included the replacement of the two drives configured in RAID 0. Am running Vista Ultimate with MS Office 2007 SP2. I've restored the system using the full restore of backup restore & Microsoft and got everything works well again. Since the last crash, whenever I have sync Blackberry Desktop, I get the error: CALENDAR TREATMENT DEVICE - BLACKBERRY DESKTOP MANAGER has STOPPED WORKING.

    I was at the forums online and support including Blackberry sites and took the following measures, which neither solves the problem.

    ·         Uninstalled DM 4.7 and installed 4.6 DM (one of the forums suggested this - I was running 4.6 before the last crash when the error started when I upgraded to 4.7.)

    ·         Repaired the outlook.pst file by using the windows onboard utility (he finds errors and repair the)

    ·         Delete the synchronization of the DM section and re-configured

    ·         Restarted the computer Pocket

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    The problem is resolved. I talked to the Tech Center RIM and the calendar on my camera had been damaged. The solution was to remove the calendar on my device and then re sync.

    Next week, my 11 year created with visual basics project is due. My program is complete and works perfectly when debugging. However, we hand upward like a file executable/installation files + project. Only problem is that as soon as I try to install my program, he stops at the splash screen and displays "windowsapplication1 has stopped working" instantly.     Ideas: I get this error message when I try to play a game that has been installed at least a year without problem.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled without success.

    I am also unable to open windows media player.  Nothing happens when I click it.

    C0000005T is a code of access violation. It is the operating system telling you that a program has malfunctioned. It has nothing specific to do with a particular program, or a brand of software, this is straight from the CPU and kernel of the operating system.

    Step 1:

    I suggest you to do a clean boot.

    a. log on to the computer using an account with administrator rights

    b. Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER to start the System Configuration utility.

    c. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue

    d. under the general tab, click Selective startup and then click to clear the check box load startup items. (The check box use the file Boot is not available.)

    e. on the Services tab, click to select the skin all the Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all

    Note: Following this step lets services Microsoft continue to run. These services include networking, Plug-and-Play, record of events, error reporting, and other services. If you disable these services, you can permanently delete all restore points. Do not do this if you want to use to restore the system with the existing restore points.

    When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    a. Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER.
