• RT construction specifications: category of component definition does not

  I use LabVIEW 2013 SP1 f2, with real-time 13.0.1

  When I open the properties page of a build specification Application in real-time (to run on a cRIO-9075) and select the category of component definition, I find that the following occur:

  -LabVIEW unresponsive and think for a while. It takes about 20-30 seconds to finally display the component definition page.

  -When I click on create a component definition file (.cdf), nothing happens. As I write this, I see 'required software components', and then they are grayed out: "The software component Description" and "Software version" - but there is nothing to choose or change?

  -If I click on another category, it takes in the order of 20 seconds to finally see the establishment of this category.

  -To close the build specification (press OK), it also takes a long time (more than 60 seconds).

  -Things are fine with the construction specifications if I ever fall into the category of component definition.

  Everyone knows this?

  Any help would be appreciated.

• Access to all the properties of all objects in a Subvi

  Dear all

  I need to change some properties of the objects on the front panel in an another Subvi, I don't want to do a 'reference' for each object, and then manipulate its properties in an another Subvi, I want to send some how a reference that contains information for all the subjects in the subVIand and then finally within the Subvi I decide about the objects and their properties that I'm about to manipulate.

  So far, I sent the reference to "ThisVI" in my Subvi and try to access "all objects []" on the Panel and then try to query all objects corresponding to my object to and then manipulate the properties I want (attached image). But the problem is that the properties are different from each specific objecton Panel and I am not as free asI was the main VI.

  For example in the attached picture, is it possible to change a Boolean value in this way?

  Yes it works also for other references like graphical waveform. If you use the constant class to more specific "strict refnum", then you get all properties for this purpose.

  We gave no date as to where the cmdlets for manipulating the objects will be available, but as mentioned in this thread of Luke, you can use the Get-CIView or. ExtensionData to manipulate the API.

  Unfortunately I don't have the infrastructure to test this right now but you could try something like this:

• Deploying an application by using a component definition file does not work (cRIO 9035 - LV2015)

  I created an application for the cRIO 9035 only in real-time with the component definition file, but when I try to deploy with MAX, I don't see the application - MAX has the dialog add/remove software standards. The files are created in the folder "National Instruments\RT Images\User Components".
  I was able to do with cRIO 9068 in the past with no problems. Do you know what I'm missing?
  I want to sent build files to a colleague from another place so it can deploy on a similar system without me having to create a large image with the wheel for every little change in the code.

  Hello, Lucien.

  What you describe is actually a known problem with the cRIO-903 x family. It is already a CAR on the same subject when I won't be able to give you a deadline for a solution, it is already handled by R & D. The number of CAR is 545686, so if you see a bug in trouble with that number in a future version, it means, it was fixed.

  Unfortunately, currently there is no workaround solution identified, so the only way to get the application running on any cRIO-903 x is either by pushing through a project, or deploy an image (this is what we are trying to avoid the definition of the component).

• Error unknown 0x88982F50 when you try to change the properties of a JPEG file in the Windows Photo Gallery

  I am running Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack1 and use Windows Photo Gallery to managemy photos. I like the fact that I can integrate tags and ratings in JPEG files.

  I just noticed though, that the tag is no longer to be stored in the JPEG file. I know because when I saw the properties of the file tag information I have in the Windows Photo Gallery is not present. If I try to change the properties directly, I get an error message stating:

  An unexpected error prevented the operation. Make a note of this error code, which might be useful if you get additional help to resolve this problem: 0x88982F50 error: No. Error Description available.

  I checked the file isn't read-only etc.

  I searched Microsoft.com for this error and have found no help. I searched the internet and have seen many forums to raise this issue, but I can't find a solution.

  Note that when I try to fix an image in Windows (eye of harvest/red etc.) Photo Gallery, I also get an error that says I can't save the changes.

  For me, it looks like a component is faulty or missing, but how is it resolved?

  Solution for error 0x88982F50:
  1 open the Task Manager by right-clicking the taskbar
  the bottom of your screen and choose the task manager of
  the menu.

  2. click on the processes tab, along the upper part of the task
  Manager screen.

  3. in the processes tab, select the corresponding button at the bottom left
  of the screen that says "show processes from all users".
  and click on it. Click on 'Continue' in the UAC prompt that
  rises.

  4. the screen should turns off a moment, and then return with
  many more listed processes. Click on the column "command."
  Line"to sort the list and search for:

  "C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmpnetwk.exe"

  Read the description in the next section on:

  Windows Media Sharing Service reader network

  5. click on this process. Click the end «»
  Treat button"at the bottom right of the screen.

  A few days ago, I upgraded my windows to windows 8 to 8.1 windows and found that no noise from HDTV when hook up my HDMI cable however video is perfectly fine. I was completely baffled because the audio was working perfectly fine before the upgrade to Windows 8.1. I tried several solutions posted on other forums, such as install other drivers and uninstall the IDT High Definition Audio Driver and then scan for hardware changes. I checked the HDMI cable and it works very well with the other laptop.

  Device Manager is needle 2 device:

  High definition audio device (yellow own showing)

  IDT High Definition Audio CODEC

  When I open the properties of the audio device high definition, that is to show:

  This device cannot start (code 10)

  {Operation failed}
  The requested operation failed.

  If anyone knows how to solve the problem, please help me

  Audio driver IDT (portable speakers) seems to work very well.

  The problem is probably with the Intel graphics driver that controls the HDMI audio.

  My recommendation would be to install the latest Intel graphics driver from the link below and see if that fixes the problem.

  You can mix changes, but there is no filter option to specify the specific date and time.

  Go to definition of Blender and select the difference as the value for the Mode property of propagation,

  If your Source is another manual entry of the user in DRM, you can think to filter the changes there and then deal with the DRM.

  in my app, that I have a lot of pages and fragments in which properties (for example rendered text, disabled, Selected,...), lots of user interface components must be set, before/when the page is displayed, depending on the session and pageFlow scope attributes.

  So far I have created for each page/one backingBean brought bean fragment in which I defined an attribute for each property defined (e.g. 2 properties for each UIC: UIC is 10...) "I have 20 attributes to manage in the bean).

  Then, I linked each attribute of the bean to the respective UIC property. You can see in this my thread (unfortunately without answers ) [ADF, JDev12.1.3] backingBean bean: a lot of properties to set for lots of CIU... is better by using the properties of the binding or access code (created by ID) UIC? a small example. I put the attributes the bean Builder (or in a function of 'action' if the APP properties must be set based on the interaction of the user).

  I would like to know:

  • If it is a good approach / recommended / safe or if there is a better way;
  • If the scope backingBean is OK, or if a larger scope would be better.

  As I asked in the thread in the link above, the situation can become difficult to manage if the PPP for which setting, properties are very different.

  So I'd like if there is no alternative that I can use to get the same result with less effort.

  For example, using the class ComponentReference or invokeOnComponentAPI could simplify my life? And their use could I always use backingBean brought beans?

  Federico, please understand that this forum has no sla. I have other work to do, who pays my bills. I will do my best to help, but you can not expect the instant replay.

  (1) you must not use the bean to init your beans. You can delay load or init your beans instead.

  (2) as Frank and says you can use a bean to view range and use it to make your calculations as long as you know how their parameters go to the btf

  (3) you should always use the reference of the component if you bind a component to a bean. Make a habit of all scopes.

  As we do not know how you calculate the State and how often it changes while the Working Group is on the page, it is difficult to give further advice.

• How to find the properties of the extension using PowerShell

  So I found the Majesty of the new viproperty, but I wonder how a person to find all the properties of the extension (note: I am not sure if the 'extension property' is the correct definition or the end of what I'm looking for).

  Here is an example of what I am trying to accomplish in this cmdlet bit that I created a new viproperty that retrieves the host name OS comments:

  New-VIProperty-name OSFullName - ObjectType VirtualMachine - ValueFromExtensionProperty "Guest.hostName" - Force

  Using this example, I want to determine is how to find all the values of the extension property.  In other words, how would fetch "guest.hostname" without copying LucD?

  Seriously, objects that sit behind the property, ExtensionData, or once returned by Get - view, are in fact objects of vSphere.

  On the other hand, the objects returned by the PowerCLI cmdlets are sometimes called .net objects.

  For example, the cmdlets Get-VM returns a .net VirtualMachine object.

  This object contains a number of properties selected by the Dev PowerCLI team, based on the properties that they think you might need more.

  In this VirtualMachine .net oppose, there is a property called ExtensionData, which is a copy of a VirtualMachine vSphere object read-only.

  Hi Amrit,

  The values of the y-axis duplicate occur when the data that you draw non-integer values, but the table is configured to display (integer) formatting for axis y. For example, the axis is trying to show something like 0, 0.4, 0.8, 1.2, 1.6, 2.0 - but, with axis set up for formatting integers, values will truncate and display something like 0, 0, 0, 1, 1, 2. A patch has been applied for the 2.3 release for this problem and can be obtained by contacting the Oracle service (and the fix will be in the next version 2.4, if you are able to take the most recent version). Note that the fix just checks that, when it is configured for formatting integers, numbers are not duplicated on the axis y. However, if data comes to a noninteger number as 0.6, the bar height is somewhere between the graduations of 0 and 1. So if your graph tends to have, for example, small fractional values, you probably want to avoid setting up the axes to display integers, since the end of wil given by being too small compared to the scale of the axis.
