• How to insert an editable text area

  Hi all

  I'm hoping to reproduce a process that I have done in the past.  I was working with a MS Word document and had a method to export it in PDF format.  In the new PDF file, I was able to add text fields that can be changed (the document is investigated).  The rest of the PDF file is not editable, but text fields allow students to enter their comments.

  I still have the original document that I realized that with the past, but I have not any notes about the way he did.  Here's a screenshot of what I'm trying to accomplish...

  

  

  Is anyone aware of how to duplicate this process?  The Word document has been imported with simple lines of text to enter comments.  Once in the PDF file, these lines of text have been used to create this editable text fields.  I am also curious to know how to change the font, size, ect.

  The editable fields are "form fields". So looking for something to do with the forms. Don't let it run LiveCycle Designer for you (he wants), use the form in Acrobat editing tools.

• Editing text areas

  Hi, I would ask what is probably a simple question. I have been using Acrobat 8 until I installed Acrobat X recently. In my previous version, I used to have the text tool in the task bar so that when I had to add a text box in a document, I could just click on margins of document and add a text box by clicking on the document open and double click on the box to change the text that I entered style or size, or color. Then I could simply close the text box and then change the properties of the text box, such as the color, the thickness of the line etc.. I don't know how do it in Acrobat X I tried in ' Tools-content-change the text and object - add oe Edit Text Box "and I tried"comment - drawing annotations"but doesn't seem to give the possibility to create a text box in a document and then by typing in the text that I can highlight and edit size , font, color etc... I can add text using "Tools-Content" etc., but that does not give me a text box. I can add a text box with 'Comments-drawing Annotations' but which does not allow me to change the size of the text, it seems to be a size by default, even if I select all the text [like I did in the earlier version] I can't yet change the properties of the text. It was pretty simple inAcrobat 8, how can I do it with the same simplicity in Acrobat X. cordially, peterjones2.

  In Acrobat X - double-click in output of text box, once that the departure of cursor blinking inside the text box - press Ctrl + E and you will see what you are looking for - "properties-text text box.

• Best way to edit small areas of text on a page?

  I made a compact home page to hard code, but I need to be able to change items separated in the DIVs. It is difficult to use design mode to edit these areas. Is there a better way to do so in addition to using the code? Webmaster of my school cannot write code (* sigh *).

• Moto X 2 Pure Edition - where are the updates?

  I have a MotoX2 Pure edition phone and have not received updates for the lollipop because I got it in December. I'm on 22.21.11 which has its fair share of bugs that I lived with for 3 months. Last month, I noticed that the MotoX2 ATT phones began to receive 5.0.2 and now see that 5.1 is on the horizon, so I wonder where the "updates faster for Pure Edition models" are? I talked to both Motorola and TMobile and here is what I said: Pure phone edition is based on TMO so I will only receive updates of this nature from TMobile (no Motorola, Google or ATT - which is what phone service that I use on this phone). Additional tmobile is not officially support (or sell) the MotoX2 (which I find really weird since the Pure edition is based on TMO codeset) they are neither listed on their list of update of Lollipop (5.0.x)...

  Does anyone else know this or different?

  All updates for Pure edition devices come directly from Motorola. If you are using a version of Moto X XT1095 there was no released update yet for her since 5.0 was sent. The AT & T version (XT1096 I think) brand received an update which brought to 5.0.2 so far. With the release of the update, 5.1 and seeding of this one at POM it is probably good to assume that Pure edition will receive this update.   OK... so:
  1. put a layer of text with a number any in it

  2. Add a text layer control Slider - effects & benefits
  3 selector setting text Source to slider Slider control

  5 put 40 in Slider parameeter and put a keyframe
  6 go in time on the timeline where you want as your countdown to the end

  No, you can not do anything. Acrobat scans the page when you select the text tool change & Images and divides the text inside boxes as appropriate see it. As PDF files were never really designed to be edited in this way, there is no guarantee that it will behave the way you expect it. It's about conjectures (based on a complex algorithm, of course).

• Cannot convert Photoshop layer in editable text

• My InDesign crashes when editing text.

  Try trashing your InDesign prereferences:

  Close and restart InDesign and IMMEDIATELY hold down the keys Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or Cmd + Opt + Ctrl and shift (Mac)and answer Yes to the dialog box asking if you really want to replace the preferences.

  (If you are not asked the question, then you have not held down keys soon enough!)
  

• I cannot edit text in a PDF - any help?

  It seems that you are using Acrobat 9.

  As far as I know, to have a form pre-filled text [I am Marie] appear in the text field, you must set the default value of the text field in Acrobat. You can do this by selecting the field property > Options > Default Value

  That's exactly what will happen if you try to change the content that is in a container that bears the "overflow: hidden" style. The solution would be to DOUBLE CLICK on the content you want to open for editing (there are other ways through the menu to activate the display of the complete element, but it is the easiest).

• Editing text and adding links is crazy in DW CC - 20141

  Getting evidence of editing text requires TWO clicks to put the framework encompassing from blue to orange.   Unfortunately, not missing anything. Adobe dropped the ball a bit and removed fluid Design view grid put forward they fully implemented the design view editing features in the new editor of Live View. They know the problem and are working.
