Manufacturer installed administrator account which I can't delete.

Hello

I recently sent my computer to the manufacturer to have the keyboard replaced (doubtful keys).  They seem to have created another administrator account and I would like to remove it.  I don't get the option 'delete it' - then that I now get to my account and never used to.

So, what should I do to go back with 1 single administrator account?

Is there a way I can "track" that they were watching that they should not have been?

They also removed my admin password protection accounts... hope they enjoyed wandering through my files... who me irritated without end.  I have fixed, but sheesh, really guys.  How important my account would be to simply change the keyboard?  I guess than NOT AT ALL, and they were just BUG.

"They seem to have created another administrator account and I would like to remove it."

It would be best to contact the manufacturer of the computer to this topic, because they would have a record exactly what they were doing.

See you soon.

    Try the following.

Step 2: If you are able to connect, and then create a new administrator account and other changes. Restart the computer in normal mode to see if you can connect.

  • How can I view the administrator account, which is not even in SafeMode (Windows 7)?

I was instructed to set up a Windows 7 PC. It has been used before, but I don't know by whom or how it was used. In order to do a bit of setting up I want, I need access to the administrator account. I have an account that is in the group administrator, Admin, but the account itself seems to be hidden or missing. It does not appear when I boot in safe mode. How can I access the administrator?

I found my own answer. The administrator account is disabled. Enable it, run the policy group, then Configuration Editor Local computer--> Windows settings security settings local policies--> security-> accounts options-->-->:--> Enable Administrator account status.

After that, I was able to connect to the administrator.
  • I got 3 accounts, two were administrator accounts and a regular user account. Now, I find that both my administrator accounts have become odinary leaving me without any user accounts administrator account. How can I now get an administrator account?

I don't remember doing anything that could have caused this problem.

Enable the built-in Administrator account log in, make your changes to user accounts, search for malware to be proactive.

    http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware

First try a system restore to when things worked. If this fixes things, very well. If this is not the case, try to start in Safe Mode, because the normally disabled built-in Administrator account can be activated if no other administrative user is available on the system. This, by repeatedly pressing the F8 key as the computer starts. That you will get to the diagnostic menu where you can use your arrow key to select Mode without failure. If the built-in administrator is enabled, you will see an icon for it on the Welcome screen.

If the above does not work:

If you have an installation of Vista DVD (not a recovery DVDs), you can start the system with it. Select the default language, then select "repair your computer". Then select "Command Prompt". At the command prompt, type:

NET user administrator / Active: Yes [Enter]

Remove the installation DVD and reboot the system in normal Mode. You will see an icon for the administrator on the Welcome screen. If you do not have a Vista installation DVD (only have a recovery disk), the computer mftr. may have given you the option to repair the system Windows Vista (not a system recovery!) in the menu diagnosis. This menu of diagnosis is the same one where you can choose Safe Mode. If this isn't the case, you can do a repair file Vista bootable DVD in this link:

    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/

Note: All the Neosmart recovery disk downloads are torrent files. There is a good explanation of the torrent on the site Web of Neosmart files. You will need a torrent asmuTorrent client to get the files. Torrent client will download the .iso file with which to create the bootable DVD. You will need the third burning like Nero, Roxio or freeImgBurn software to burn the image .iso image file, not in the form of data.

After net user, remove the bootable CD and restart the computer. You will now see an icon for administrator on the Welcome screen. Connect to this account. After getting things sorted, disable the administrator built-in yet for security reasons * after * creation of a user and administrative per the recommendations below.

Start Orb > Search box > type: cmd
When cmd appears in the above results, right-click and choose "Run as Administrator" [OK]. Now, you will get the command prompt. At the command prompt, type:

NET user administrator / active: No. [Enter]

    Exit the command prompt.

General recommendations for creating users in Vista:

You absolutely don't want to have only one user account. As XP and all the other modern operating systems, Vista is a multi-user system with integrated system of accounts as default Administrator and comments. These accounts should be left alone because they are part of the structure of the operating system.

In particular, you do not want one account user with administrative privileges on Vista because the administrator account integrated (normally only used in emergencies) is disabled by default. If you use as an administrator for your daily work, and this account is corrupt, things will be difficult.  It is not impossible to activate the built-in administrator to rescue things, but there may be more that you want to do. Better not to put you in a bad situation at first.

The user account that is for your daily work must be a Standard user, with the extra administrative user (call it something like 'CompAdmin' or 'Tech' or similar) only it for elevation purposes. As a user Standard is recommended for security reasons and will help protect your computer against infections. After you have created "CompAdmin", connect to it and change your normal user account Standard. Then log on to your regular account.

  • Tecra R840 - which partitions can I delete?

    Hello

I installed a Plextor M5P 512 GB ssd in my Tecra R840-16J! I'm very happy with it :-)
Restore laptop to factory state using the recovery DVDs I created before! Now, I have 2 copies and a 16 GB USBFlash with an extra copy! So I can restore to factory State whenever I want!

But I would like to delete the allocated partitions to this!
In my SSD, I have 3 partitions made after recovery (please to image): http://imageshack.us/a/img827/4873/34012663.jpg

    Who then can I remove?

    Thank you very much
    Paulo

First (1.4 GB) partition is created automatically by Windows 7 and there are some files used by Win 7 in case you need fix the system or set system time back at the beginning.
The second partition C is common system partition containing the Win 7 OS.
The last partition is the recovery partition that contains the files to recover.
Recovery files are required to create a recovery disk. In addition the recovery partition allows to recover the laptop without the use of the recovery disk (HARD disk recovery option)

I do not recommend to remove or change any partition UNTIL you not create the recovery disk.
Create the recovery disk and then you could change the partitions of HARD drive theoretically you can delete the last partition of HARD drive recovery if you have already created the recovery disc.

  • Can't access administrator account, "user profile Service service has no logon.

I can not access my user account who is the administrator account. An another user account on the computer (standard account) is still available, however. (Which doesn't have a password). I use Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit?).

I get the following error message after entering my password:

"The service user profile Service has no logon.

User profile cannot be loaded. »

(Note: the word "service" is repeated in the error message.)

I have not deleted all the files manually, or altered by the profile and have not installed all the software until the problem occurred, but I'm running anti-virus software (as always).

I tried to turn the computer power and repeated logon several times in the last 12 hours, but with the same result.

My profile is damaged? Is it possible to access my user account without implementing the user profile?

I used this Microsoft Support page using the method 1 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947215/en-us

It worked perfectly, & took only 10 minutes to complete. You must have an administrator account substitute, you can go to access these folders.

    Good luck!

  • How can I remove administrator account?

On my wife's pc, XP Pro installation not finish us until we entered a user name (USERNAME). So now we have two administrative USERNAME and ADMINISTRATOR accounts, which means that whenever we have start or come out of their hibernation we must select the account to use.

On my pc, there is only a MYNAME account (with administrator privileges), so I can start or come out of hibernation without going through the pesky logon screen.

    Any suggestions?

You can't remove the administrator account, but you can hide it from the home screen which is probably what you have on the other computer. to hide the administrator account:

    1. click on start > run and type regedit and click OK.

    2. go in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList

    3. check if there is a value on the right-hand side named Administrator, if there is skip step 4 if he doesn't do not continue

4 right-click right part empty on the right side and click on new > DWORD value and name it administrator

    5. double-click the administrator value and set it to 0 if it is not already

    6. close the registry editor

After completing these steps you should not see administrator to the homescreen (except in safe mode).
