Mapping and creating dynamic interface Odi

Hi gurus,

I received the new requirement on ODI. I don't know that it may be possible.

Here is my requirement.

I'll take 2 tables as follows.

Table1. : do you have the details of source and target as - target Id, name of the source file, the name of the table

ID sourcefilename targettable

---     ---------------------     -----------------

1 epm.csv salestable

currency.csv 2 regiontable

Table2: details of column mappings as Id, sourcecolumn (from file), the column target (from table).

ID sourccol trgtcol

---     ------------     ----------

1 ename ename

1 esal esal

1 eid eid

2 countries

2 currency

The package should be as executing package I provide (ID) parameter. ID-based it should choose the table of file name and target source from Table1 and get reversed in ODI, interface must be mapped to the end of the mppings of Table2.

If one can achivable may give some clues please.

Concerning

PrakashV.

PrakashVsalvation,

It is quite doable with Java or Groovy and the ODI SDK.

You can find some examples and the code used on the Oracle blogs:

https://blogs.Oracle.com/warehousebuilder/entry/odi_11g_interface_builder_accelerator

https://blogs.Oracle.com/dataintegration/entry/automating_odi_development_tasks_using

Chantal Mangano also wrote this excellent blog and the code to read the business rules an Excel files and create interfaces: Creating of Interfaces of mapping in the ODIDW team Excel spreadsheets

It should not be too complex for you to change it according to your needs.

It will be useful.

Best regards

  • Number max of dynamic interfaces on 4404 WLC

Can someone tell me if there is a limit to how many dynamic interfaces I can create on a WLC 4404?

I know that I can have only 16 SSID, so I have set up an SSID for my private network and use AAA Override and configured my radius server to assign the VLAN different for each group. I need to create a dynamic interface for each VLAN individual and I just want to know if there is some sort of limit on the number of dynamic interfaces, I can have when I meet a potential problem on the road.

    TIA,

    Deanna

I was able to verify that you can only create dynamic interfaces up to 513. This of course does not include your management, your ap Manager or VIP.

Hope that answers your question... it did for... now me I know!

  • Independent migration of LWAPP and dynamic interfaces on the controller 4404

We are currently migrating from a stand-alone environment. Access points currently take wireless clients and put

their right in separate VLANs that SSID that they associate with. Each SSID is another customer

So we are essentially acting as a service provider. We try not to get involved with the functions of layer 3.

Each range of IP of SSID is ordered by a customer or a third party. So far, we didn't specify an address from DHCP server, the client is getting on one VLAN and it is up to the customer to assign their own intellectual property details.

Now that we're migrating to LWAPP I found the following-

-J' need to specify an IP address for each dynamic IP address for each WLAN

-J' need to specify a DHCP server for each dynamic IP address for each WLAN

Because I have no control of the PPE, I put in the details of false dynamic Interface but the correct address of the DHCP server.

    It seems to work.

    My questions are as follows:-

1 / is there a way I can simply place clients in a VIRTUAL LAN using LWAPP equipment so we didn't

get involved with Layer 3 configuration?

2 / I noticed when I got a DHCP address on a test laptop client, the DHCP server is 1.1.1.1. The only thing in the network that I know is the virtual IP address of the controller that is used for groups of mobility. Is this normal?

3/on the controller is the query DHCP has passed from the management or the dynamic interface?

3 / What is the IP address of the dynamic interface actually used for? At the beginning I forge the DHCP server use it as a source, but my setup works with a bogus address.

Welcome to the world of LWAPP! It's a pretty confusing to get, so I hope I can answer some of your questions.

Before directly answering your questions, I want to give you a little if a glimpse as to how traffic flows in LWAPP environment. All traffic LWAPP is placed in a tunnel to the controller (this is why LWAPP APs is no longer need to switch trunk links). Traffic is désencapsulé and sent to the appropriate interface switching environment (management or dynamic). The source address for traffic is changed to match the control interface for traffic must return to the controller in order to get the customer. For example, IP addresses are required on the controller.

    1. think of the controller as a layer 3 switch that masks the identity of its customers. By sourcing all traffic from itself, it ensures that all traffic comes back to him, how it forwards traffic to the client via the LWAPP tunnel. False addresses you entered are actually being used on the network, then you will want to register those with the people in charge. If someone uses this address, it will eventually drop your wireless network.

    2. it is normal. The virtual IP address is also used for DHCP service. Because the controller blocks all emissions, it must the DHCP proxy for each client, where the virtual IP address as well as the need to specify the address of the DHCP server.

    3. I don't know what interface it gets passed on. Maybe someone else can answer.

    4. see above for a description of what it is.

One last thing. What, exactly, are these fake addresses to which you refer? They are real addresses which comes with? They correspond to the VLAN that you places on? You give them suitable default gateways?

Don't forget that by configuring these, they are real addresses on your network that you should be able to ping. And yet once, if the address is duplicated on the network, it has the potential to get to the bottom of your wireless network.

Let me know if this can help, and if you have any other questions!

  • Creating new interface controller on 5508...

After you have created a new controller interface and applying, it requires a restart of the system?  or is it just like the creation of a new interface vlan in one switch?

    Thank you

    David

After you have created a new controller interface and applying, it requires a restart of the system?

No, the creation of a new dynamic Interface does NOT require a reboot.

  • number of dynamic interfaces in a group of interfaces regarding 8510 controllers

I have a controller 8510, is it possible to club 130 dynamic interfaces in a single interface group?

I guess a single interface group can have 64 dynamic interfaces, if there is a way to club 130 dynamic interfaces in a group unique interface, please suggest.

I suggested to my client to create two interface group, a dynamic group of 64 can interfaces each, but he suggested the following

    1. If the interface of several groups to be created, rules of correspondence ACS must make the same number (access policies ACS allowing only 1 name of Air Interface [interface group] in line with the strategy)
    2. Having several access policy for the Group of users even identify unknown factors in the distribution of access requests between two or more access policies where they the same group of service users

    Hello

Yes, you just... you can have a max 64 interface in a group of interfaces:

Here is the reference (table 2): http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/technotes/8-1/8...

So you cannot combine all the 130 dynamic interface in a group.

According to my experience: one solution is to use 2 SSIDS and each ssid must have a group of interfaces (64 interfaces).

Hi, I created the ActionItem dynamically using (loop)

Do I need to create handleAction() as well as added actionItem SLOT

But I don't know how much action added because it is dynamic server

    Thank you

    There are a few options:

Create a single location and connect all the signals. You can then call sender() into the slot to retrieve the object that sent the signal and go from there. You can also use a QSignalMap that maps each signal to a value and send this value to a single location. You can also use QSignalMap::sender() to get the sender object.

I used the QSignalMap to do something similar for handling created dynamically successfully drop-down lists.

  • Dynamic interfaces, VIRTUAL, multiple physical interfaces LAN?

    Hello

We're just starting with a WLC 5508 and WCS. We can already see that it is a big improvement on our installation current with autonomus AP we are also implementing some 11n AP is in this framework.

I think I understand the multiple interfaces AP-Manager and balance the load of the average AP in these. But I do not understand what customer traffic should be load-balanced.

The goal is to have a WLAN. When I create this I select a dynamic interface (and so a VLAN for the customers). But this VLAN is bound to a physical port (with a port of relief). So my understandig of the wil of customer traffic from the AP to the controller on several interfaces, but then goes out to the servers in a single interface?

It's not what I want - I'd like to that traffic on him VLAN on the servers to be distributed on several ports. How do I do that? I then use LAG?

    Kind regards

    Kaj

OK, if you don't have that a WLAN you would probably a dynamic interface, unless you use AP group VLAN.

  • Mappings of dynamic interface of SSID in the AP groups

Hello, I have a few questions about the mapping of the SSID to the interfaces within the AP groups.  My controller runs 7.4.110 and has about 150 APs configured on the controller.

5508 pair UNIQUE for all APs authentication mode

50 are on the same campus as a controller. (APs in Local Mode)

100 are 40 other WAN sites. (APs to FlexConnect Central, site based authentication DHCP)

3 SSID broadcast to all sites

    Corp - 802. 1 x

    Warehouse - Auth WPA2-PSK-Mac

Reviews - wide opening with a Cs & Ts that you accept very similar to a hotel

    Controller interfaces

    Management interface

    The warehouse - dynamic interface

    Customer interface - dynamic

I have set up groups of AP for each remote location. My question is this:

For these places distant in the AP group configuration, should I maps all the SSID to the management interface, or I should map it to the dynamic interface?  I.e. to Corp.--> Management, warehouse--> warehouse, guest--> comments.

For local access points, I do the SSID mapping for each interface, but I don't know that it's important for my remotes.

    Help is greatly appreciated.

For your remote offices FlexConnect APs.

If WLAN is configured for local switching, then users will get IP of the interface that you corresponding in the mapping section vlan in the AP configuration. (interface by default yield under general WLAN or the AP group WLAN configuration section is not a problem)

If WLAN is configured for central switching, then you must assign a correct dynamic interface under the WLAN-> General section or AP group WLAN configuration.

https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/questions/997366 who asked on April 30, 2014 and answered 3 hours latter.

So here we are with the same question these last 18 months.

As Microsoft disapproved EMAPI and did not even he comes with recent versions of Windows. Thunderbird will not support this existing windows API.

Thunderbird is compatible mapi and Toad hall you associate information about that last year.

  • How to create dynamic Services based on VMware files

    Hello

We would like to create as many services as VMware folders in VMware, so whenever we will be add/remove any computer file VMware virtual of the service components will also be day/follow-up...

We check the option "Create a rule to include a group of components" in the function Builder, and adding the conditions of rule as:

! VFolder where name like ''.

But the result is not successful, because we are unable to choose the right component that inherites the VFolder type components...

The same works of query in the "Script Console" and the children of the property spreads with all virtual machines...

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

    Hi Eneko

One of our systems Consultants found a carton of community that creates dynamic records VMWare-based services. I have attached the cartridge and I included some comments from the author, Thomas Bryant.

I am pleased to announce the release of version 1.0 of a cartridge personalized for VMware files.  I had a lot of customers ask me to automatically build services in vFoglight based on the structure of folders in vCenter, and that is exactly what will make this cartridge!  This cartridge contains a rule that runs once per hour and will create a category called files VMware services and then for each vCenter, the data center and the series of records, create services and add virtual machines to each, as in vCenter.  Simply load the cartridge and wait about 30 to 60 seconds depending on the number of files you have, and then services will be created.  Please let me know if things work, good or bad.

    Updated - Version 1.0.1 released

The update fixes a problem with the sort order of the structure "Virtual Machines and templates" vs "Hosts and Clusters" and the following files which were not created properly.

Known issues - currently will not remove a service based on a folder that has been deleted from vCenter.  I'll look to add this in the next version.

One last thing. After you install the cartridge, a new rule, named Custom - create/update records VMware will be added under VMware_Folders cartridge. If edit you it and look at the Conditions & Actions tab, you should be able to see the groovy script that is used to create and populate the services. Here, you should be able to edit the prefix added to each folder in Foglight. By default, the prefix is "Folder_.

I hope that this solution is satisfactory for you,

    Kind regards

    Gaston.

  • Location-how to create an interface to the .rrh file using jde?

    Hello

I created my own files .rrh and .rrc, but when I build my project in jde 4.5 there is no corresponding interface is created for the file .rrh... Please tell me how to create the interface using jde and where it is located?

create an interface named NAMEResResource (with NAME = your name of the module).
create a long BUNDLE_ID and a string BUNDLE_NAME and set some values (random).
You can now add resource strings, with a random value as all are managed by the internal interface of the JDE.

You must create the entry of resources in the HR Manager/DRR files and copy the name of the entry in your own interface.

  • Dynamic interfaces for Cisco 2106

Greetings, I've configured the 4400 front controllers and I am familiar with the terms used, ive recently acquired a controller 2106, I have assigned an AP Manager and management address to Port 1 on the same subnet, and can test the device.

Subsequently, I have several different VLAN with different subnets I want to provide services as wireless as well as a network of comments.

So I configured the WIFI network and each its own dynamic interfaces associated with. Each dynamic interface is in turn associated with its own port of the controller.

    Port 1 - AP Manager/Management

2 - Dynamic interface - the WLAN port has

    Port 3B - dynamic Interface - WLAN

    Port 4 - dynamic Interface - WLAN C

And so on, unfortunately where configure this I lose connection to the controller, if I put all dynamic and static interfaces on a single port it works fine.

IM current rapid PVST + on my switches and I'm thinking it may be a matter of spanning tree but necessarily clarification if what im doing is actually possible?

  • WLC - slot configuration of the dynamic Interface DHCP settings

    Hi guys,.

If I have a dynamic interface that is connected to a subnet where the router interfaces have DHCP servers configured under the orders of support address, do I need to configure the DHCP fields in the dynamic interface configuration?

I have the support address configured on routers connected AND these fields configured with the same DHCP servers.

I was wondering if I can take the IP address of the configuration of WLC?

    Thx a lot indeed.

    Ken

Ken, the DHCP address in the dynamic interface, is the address the WLC is unicast the DHCP request when a client tries to use this interface. In normal operation, this address is needed. Is there a way to get the WLC to fill the package to the wire to make it a show instead of a unicast packet. CLI command is dhcp proxy disable config.

But I think that even if you issue the CLI command, the software wants the DHCP address in the dynamic interface.
