maximum starting Manager partitions
Right now, I have 2 primary partition on a 1.5 TB harddrive, running in dual boot win 7 & 8. (do not know if I like 8)
Yes you can. As you use as multiboot Windows 7 and Windows 8, you can go for the installation of the hard disk on Windows XP and Windows 98 virtual, if (as per the link provided by Mahesh Kumar a. ) compatibility mode fails to solve the problem.

I am trying to create a new partition in Win7 using the disk management utility. Shrank lecteurC existing to create unallocated space. Am not able to create a simple volume with this space unallocated due to the following error message.
"You cannot create a new volume in this unallocated space because the disk already contains the maximum number of partitions".
How to fix this or go around with another method to create partitions?
Hello
You will need to convert the dynamic disk before creating the extra partition. To do this in disk management:
-Right-click the disk 0 (gray area) which indicates the total size of your hard drive
-Select 'convert to dynamic disk.
Once you have converted to dynamic disk, you will be able to go and create the new simple partition.
I hope this helps.

Impossible to assign the unallocated disk space.gives drive letter an error ' you cannot created new volume in this unallocated space because the disk already contains the maximum number of partitions. Please help, thank you. Lesley Fernandes
You are allowed a maximum of four partitions. More than likely you have created four "Primary" partitions
If you want to access this "Unallocated" space, you have two choices:
(1) Expand/extend the last partition to include the unallocated space.
(2) (delete the last partition "Primary" (save your data first) and create an 'Extended' partition, which can then be used to create one or more logical drives.
Never be afraid to ask. This forum has some of the best people in the world to help.

Original title: recovery disk unallocated space - please help
I bought a lenovo z370 and it came with a partition of a disk c with 653 GB NTFS and d lenovo 30 GB drive and two other drives without names like d or e simply unamed with 200 MB of space and another with 14 GB of space... now to partition C drive more far I used the shrink option and shrunk 200 GB which now shows as unallocated space and when I try to create a new volume on it it says I already have the maximum number of partitions... What do I do now? How to restore this 200 GB of unallocated in my c drive space or do in another player... Please please help
And see if I've followed the process this last link of how to re-partition my drive is what I did in the first place and because I got 4 partitions as I detailed it in the other answer, I have written that if I reduce my c drive, it becomes unallocated space, and even with the new volume Wizard does not become a player since I get an error message have already 4 partitions...

Problem starting managed server and Node Manager
Hello
I created the WebLogic domain with 2 managed servers. I use Jdevevloper11.2.3 integrated WebLogic server. I can't start the servers ManagedWebLogic. On the console, I get an error stating:
"For the server Server1, the Node Manager associated with new_Machine_1 of the machine is not accessible."
Nor any of the management server is started through the startManagedWebLogic.cmd. Any help on this?
Hello
To start the managed from the console server, you must first start the node Manager process and then you can start managed based on the console server.

Need help to start a partition converted previous physical Machine manually in VMDK
I had a problem with a HD that was not in a State of health , I was able to make a backup with Acronis Image Home in time. The backup has been partial, the original disc had 4 partition (3 primary and bootable partitions and a logical partition of data only), it was a Boot Manager to boot Windows 7, Windows Vista respectively (2), WindowsXP (3) (1). I made a backup of the W7 partition and the DATA partition.
I had no need of the old disks of Vista and Windows XP, and that's why I made the partial, not backup to disk backup.
I want to virtualize the old machine. Using VMware vCenter Converter I could not convert the tib file, it gave error, probably because it was only a partial backup of the first and the last partition.
So I have chosen to follow a different path, I mounted the TIB file, which has mounted the two partitions as separate discs, then using Backup of EASE, I made a backup of the first partition (Windows 7) and converted to the VMDK image using VDDK 5.1
Now, I created a 9 VMX (Using VMWARE) Workstation, which asked me to convert the VMDK in version 9.0 (I said NO). I also converts the data partition later.
. Starting the virtual machine, he started for the Boot Manager, but obviously it does not work, no matter what boot option I chose I get this error:
Status: 0xc000000e
Info: The boot selection failed because a required device is not accessible.
If I remember well using VMware converter, the software takes care of the conversion of the machine as well as pilots of controller used when the machine has been installed on the real hardware.
Now, I need solve this problem and I need advice to do all the steps safe and functional without worries.
Priming for sure and partition table sector must be updated to reflect a disc with only a partition and must also solve the problem of all the drivers installed in the system that could give a problem.
I have the installation DVD of Windows 7 has tried to fix the trunk then now, it identifies and the main C: Partition successfully deleted other references of boot partition. The system seem to start but I got a BSOD:
Status: 0x0000007B
I think that the problem is related to IDE drivers or something, how do I fix this problem?
Relok.Sorry - I'm in a hurry and don't have time for lengthy explanations.
Take a look at my site http://sanbarrow.com/p2v2008r2.html
It has a section "patch - easy alternative."
This applies to win7, 32 and 64 and 2k8r2Use a recovery CD if the builtin recovery mode cannot be started.
Also, make sure that your vmx always have lines
scsi0. Present = 'TRUE '.scsi0.virtualDev = "lsisas1068". -
Windows 8 already downloaded does not start after partitioning
Merge two partitions of the space unallocated readers D use third-party software AOMEI partition Wizard. system unbootable Windows 8 but menu boot priority is displayed. When the hard drive selected d same process iterates.
Hi Sourabh,
Change the partition could have led to the loss of the starting path. So, even after the selection of hard drive, the system is not able to start Windows. I suspect that the only option is to load the default values using a recovery image. Please backup all data before starting the recovery.
I hope this helps.

vSphere 4.1 how to start management agents via powercli
Hello, I created the powershell script to 'enable Remote Tec Support (SSH)' and set the auto strategy
If I head start-vmhostservice then I get a warning in vcenter client\host\sumary tab "from Configuration Mode Tec Support remotely (SSH) for the host as hostname has been turn on" how to remove the message is to restart the management agents... so I would like to add this step as part of the script.
Can you point me in the right direction?
You've probably done one
/sbin/services.sh restart
on the console of SUpport?
This in fact the warning go away.
But with the Restart-VMHostService cmdlet, you can use the following services:
Key Label Policy Running Required --- ----- ------ ------- -------- DCUI Direct Console UI on True False TSM Local Tech Support off False False TSM-SSH Remote Tech Support (SSH) automatic True False lbtd lbtd on True False lsassd Local Security Authenticati... off False False lwiod I/O Redirector (Active Dire... off True False netlogond Network Login Server (Activ... off True False ntpd NTP Daemon automatic True False vmware-vpxa VMware vCenter Agent on True False
While the services.sh script restarts the following services
/etc/init.d/ntpd /etc/init.d/DCUI /etc/init.d/TSM-SSH /etc/init.d/storageRM /etc/init.d/vprobed /etc/init.d/sensord /etc/init.d/hostd /etc/init.d/lbtd /etc/init.d/slpd /etc/opt/init.d/vmware-vpxa /etc/init.d/usbarbitrator /etc/init.d/sfcbd /etc/init.d/sfcbd-watchdog
And I'm afraid this is one of the services that you can not manipulate PowerCLI that did the trick.
Note that this difference is not a problem of PowerCLI since the underlying HostServiceSystem also has this limitation.

argument null for classes starting managered Server start
Hello world
We have a cluster Weblogic 10.3.5 environment. the environment seems to work very well. I am able to have servers (Admin and managed) and deployed applications that run without any problem. However, I just noticed, every time when I run servers Managered, I got the following in the system log. It seems that they are the classes start, but with the null argument. Are they normal or not?
Thanks in advance,
John

If the classes are called arguments null and no exception is thrown, and then is means that the class is able to have a null argument, so nothing to worry about again.
Kind regards

-Dtangosol.coherence.clusteraddress and - Dtangosol.coherence.clusterport?
If you have not changed these values, then probably your server is trying to join some other cluster consistency. Your values must be unique.

Admin Server is started successfully. "" But server manager does not start, and in the newspapers, it is shwoing as Momery "PermSize: Cache.
So can you please someone help me to solve this problems.

yearsYes that's correct.
You can start the server like this: startManagedServer.cmd
If you have set the JAVA_VENDOR as Oracle, then you should have installed JRockit. Otherwise it will fail to start.
