  Seems that your windows installation is missing most important files, I suggest you boot to the top with your windows media center installation CD and run repair on the windows installation. This will replace any missing files and I hope that your media center up and running. If this isn't the case, it could be a problem in the registry.

• EPG announces Windows 7 Media Center.

• How can I reinstall Windows Media Center in Windows 8 again after its removal via Add/remove features?

  The link which initially allowed me to install WMC in Windows 8 is no longer available for use.

  Due to a corruption of the hard drive software, Windows Media Center became unusable with my tv card. It resulted in my duty uninstall by using the Add or remove features in Control Panel. Don't try to reinstall Windows Media Center in the same way by reselection it even once, had no success.

  Any suggestions on how to remove WMC and rerun without a clean install of Windows would be greatly appreciated.

I tested it on the player of AverMedia TV tuner, which worked well and I can't all channels using an antenna from the wall outlet. However, it doesn't seem to work when I went to the Media Center window with the same exact configuration (taking wall antenna).
