Meier's civilization 3

After that I installed the game on my computer, I couldn't allow him to play as he kept saying that the disc I had in it was a backup! That may be possible that the disc I used was the same thing on I bought in the shop! It's the Message, it continues to give me, "http://www.securom.com/message.asp?m=copy&c=4001" what can I do? I tried the advice he gave the link, I just showed, but I couldn't find the advanced option where he told me to look at.

  • M7-k211dx envy: install Intel MEI don't

(I hope I'm in the section appropriate for that matter).

The system is Envy m7-k211dx comes with Win 8.1 and is automatically upgraded to Win 10.  Been use it a little more than a year and as far as I know everything works fine.

Do the system dual boot for a 2nd OS which is ultimate Win 7-64.  Who completed and works fine - except for 1 small problem.

In Win 7 Device Manager displays a small yellow error exclamation point to a device called 'controller PCI of communication Simple '.  Checking properties said that no driver is installed for this device.  It shows that it is bus 0, device #22.  Under properties/details/Hardware ID that shows 9CBA VEN 8086 and DEV.  I think that the titles back to the Intel MEI - Management Engine Interface driver.

Go to the support page hp.com pilot for the m7-k211dx, I downloaded and installed sp66098. Or at least I tried.  Shortly after starting the installation comes back with the error message: "this computer does not meet the minimum requirements to install the software.

It seems that it is unlikely that the problem is hardware related because HP has put W7 drivers download and it works perfectly well in the trunk of the W10.  So I suspect it is some SW is related issue that causes the installation to think the computer does not meet the minimum.

No idea on how to find what causes the installation to fail?

    Hello:

The installation fails because the driver configuration information file contains no support for the ID of the material that you have posted.

Here's a partial copy and paste this file... If this answers why.

    [Intel.ntamd64.6.1]
    ; DisplayName Section DeviceId
    % TEE_DeviceDesc % = TEE_DDI_x64, PCI VEN_8086 & DEV_1E3A
    % TEE_DeviceDesc % = TEE_DDI_x64, PCI VEN_8086 & DEV_1CBA
    % TEE_DeviceDesc % = TEE_DDI_x64, PCI VEN_8086 & DEV_1C3A
    % TEE_DeviceDesc % = TEE_DDI_x64, PCI VEN_8086 & DEV_1DBA
    % TEE_DeviceDesc % = TEE_DDI_x64, PCI VEN_8086 & DEV_1D3A

    % TEE_DeviceDesc % = TEE_DDI_x64, PCI VEN_8086 & DEV_9C3A

So we have to find the right driver that supports the ID you have posted.

See if this driver works.  Its configuration information file contains driver support for the ID you have posted.

  • Satellite C660 - 1UJ PSC1LE: need to update driver to run civilization

    Hello

I want to upgrade my graphics card driver because now I can't run the game civilization beyond Earth. In the forum of the game they say I need to update the driver for my graphics card to be able to play.

BUT when I go on the reserve driver toshiba support site is "8.15.10.2353" (which came out in 2011, suffice it to say)
Unfortunately, it's the driver already installed...
and when I go to the site intel driver, I can download the driver of reserve (March 2014), BUT it is not allowing me to update, because is not a toshiba driver...

so please can you help me?

    Thank you very much

    Hello
You can install the Intel driver but you must do it differently.
First you must download the driver files in the ZIP (NOT exe) package
The Intel Core i3 - 2310M CPU processor supports the Intel HD Graphics 3000
On the Intel driver https://downloadcenter.intel.com/ page, you will be able to download the zip of Intel HD Graphics 3000 at the address mentioned package.

After download and once the package has been unpacked, go to the Device Manager, choose the Intel GPU and update the driver advanced. This allows you to choose the driver folder and perform the update.

  • Civilization V on a MacBook?

    Hello!

I am considering buying a new MacBook, being very intrigued by the size, but I worry a little about the performance. I do not have huge needs, but I like to play a game of Civilization V at any time and on my old MacBook Pro (Late 2008) it's almost unplayable.

I bought Civ V via Steam, not in the Mac App Store.

Does anyone have any experience with the performance of Civ V on this MacBook? I'm still not sure, if the CPU or the onboard graphics card is the factor limiting. Everyone knows this?

    Thanks for the help!

  • Satellite L550: Civilization 3 game run slow after upgrade to Win 7

My laptop came with Vista pre-installed, and I ordered the "free" Windows 7 upgrade.

I play a game called civilization 3, which I installed with Vista and it worked fine.
Now I have upgraded Vista to Windows 7 and the game still works fine, but the graphics have slowed down considerably.

My system has the ATI mobility Radeon HD 4650 videocard and I already checked if there was a new driver.

    Can anyone helpme here?

    Thanx.

    Hello

As far as I know, you can find the latest graphics card driver on the European driver Toshiba page. It s the most recent which is available for this model of laptop and the graphics card.

But to be honest, the 3 civilizations is not a powerful game that would need a strong graphics card and so I doubt that this could be a graphics card problem.

What version of Windows 7 you are using? Is it a 64 bit version?
Maybe civilization 3 is not fully tested and compatible with Win 7.

    Hello

May I ask if you have checked the system requirements for Civilization 4 first? Before you try to play a game, you should check the system requirments. Is the laptop fast enough and very important: the graphics card is compatible with this game?
    Check this box!

If you meet the system requirements make sure that the latest Toshiba display driver is installed. Don t use the driver from nVidia directly, it doesn t have a protection against overheating.

And you have installed the latest version of DirectX?

  • HP Pavilion x 360: back issues of sleep and stop; MEI driver moved

I have upgraded to Windows 10 last summer and, like many people, I had sleep and close issues. The computer wouldn't wake him up after he went to sleep and when I stop the computer the light remained on and the fan will continue running. I was able to fix by updating the graphics card and the driver of MEI.

Windows has released a new update a few days ago and it has been applied automatically to my computer. Now, sleep and shutdown questions have returned.  This time, the graphics card is fully updated, but now I can't downgrade my MEI driver back to version 8.1 of Windows ( 9.5.24.1790 1.5 M ). When I try to install the driver it says 'Setup progam was able to start one or more application processes' and stops. I tried running the installation through Setup of HP and download directly, and none worked.

Does anyone else have this problem? Any advice?

Open Device Manager, expand the 'System devices' section, and then find "Intel Management Engine interface", double click it and go to the driver tab, and then click on "roll back driver" button, it will come back to the previous driver.

You can do most any device in the device manager driver.

If roll back driver button is gray, then there is no older driver to restore.

  • Installation problems drivers MEI for HP Compaq 6000 Pro MT

    The OS is Windows 7 x 64.

An unknown device in device of systems management is registered as VEN_8086 DEV_3048.  I think it fits with the Management Engine Interface drivers.  I tried to install the HECI drivers on the site of HP (SP45411).  It installs the software, but the installation fails with "an unknown error has occurred - will leave Setup."

When you try to manually install the driver I get: "Windows encountered a problem installing the software driver for your device."

My next step is to try the drivers directly from the Intel site someone at - it suggestions?

Based on this error, I found that it is actually a very common problem with these types of drivers and Windows 7 x 64 systems.  The long solution is to remove completely the driver files, temporary locations, and for MEI registry entries.  I couldn't be arsed with it so I just transferred the image to the WDS server and manually install drivers instead of the program installation and then rebooted the machine, now works.

    Hi Flare25,

We found that Civilization IV: warlords is not compatible with Windows 7. See Civilization IV compatibility

As you have already run the game in compatibility mode and the problem persists. Another option to run the game using Windows XP Mode.
See Install and use Windows XP Mode in Windows 7

    Hello

Is that scratches or stains on the cd/dvd?

I you suggest to create a folder on the desktop and then copy the contents of the Cd / Dvd in this folder.

You can also try to remove the letter R of the Explorer:

    (a) right click on the install disc and click on Explorer,r.

If you are able to browse through the cd/dvd and if you are able to copy the contents of the cd/dvd, you can use the files that are copied to install the game.

If you are not able to navigate or to copy the contents of the cd/dvd, I suggest contact you the provider of game for the replaced cd/dvd.

    Hope the information is useful.
