memory of SMS message in use

is there to change the memory of sms message from phone to sd card

If you are worried that they can take a lot of space: SMS are in KB size and if you have loads of them they will not occupy any space on your internal memory.

If you must keep them safe when you reset or repair your phone, you can always save their app is "backup & restore" on your phone or PC Companion on your desktop/laptop.

    Hello

You have little free memory left on your device.

You have a lot of third-party applications on your time BB, icall, bbalerts etc?

I don't know your level of experience, so if you know I'm sorry but if please read and let me

not know if this is the case.

Most people close the applications by pressing escape or the red button. This does not close the applications.

Each application has an option CLOSE. For example, if you are in the calendar, press the menu key (spotted) and scroll down to the bottom CLOSE is listed. Go through each application and then press close. Go to the menu press browser and options select cache operations clear all categories and reached escape it will say cleaning memory. If you have the following option:

Go to options - security - garbage collection - enable. The BB will now clean up the memory when idle for 5 minutes.

you will have an icon on the screen to clean the memory of you make sure you press it. Make sure that you use the button CLOSE whenever you're done with an application.

  • Card SIM full blackBerry Smartphones after only 10 SMS messages

I just got my BB 9000 and took my old SIM card and placed in the BB.

On the card SIM was a few SMS messages (the SIM card is only 5 days old) and initially the BB seems to work very well. After receiving very little SMS' are I was presented with an error message saying that the SIM card is full and that I should delete the SMS messages to make room for the new.

.. After only 10 SMS' are?

I checked the Options-> memory, but it says nothing about the use of the memory on the SIM card and the other figures indicates that the BB itself has of course plenty of room/memory left.

I don't want to delete SMS' are all 2 days... Someone has a good idea on how to check the status of the real of the SIM memory?

    Concerning

    Finnerup

    Follow these steps-

    1. Options
    2. SMS text
    3. Leave Messages on SIM card: no
  • Group SMS messaging

Is it possible that I can specify to use SMS to a particular group message?

I have a group where I don't want everyone to have the number and each other, or what I want to do 'reply to all '.

Are there other options if SMS is not an option?

Perhaps an app that I can download?

    Hi there edwiley06,

It's an interesting question you asked who had me try a few options. Just to clarify, you want to be able to send one group SMS message where others can not see the contact information of someone else, and responses are not sent to everyone in the group. I tried a few different ways, so I'll share what I found.

To send a message to group with these settings, you disable iMessage and group messaging, but you will have to leave the MMS messaging on. When I sent a group text to my brothers and sisters, she didn't until I switched back on MMS. In my text, I asked if they could see all the coordinates and both answers came back that they couldn't. In addition, their responses are returned to me.

Insofar as an app that you can use instead, I searched on the App Store by using the words "group message" and a number of pieces came. For those, you need to test them individually to find the right one for you.

    I hope this helps!

  • How does SMS Messages?

I am trying to understand the functioning of the Messages:

    (1) is it only show the Apple special messages or regular SMS messages come here also?  Can I send text messages to phones that can not be iPhones? I just received an SMS on my iPhone that does not appear on the Messages app that I opened on my MacBook Air.

    (2) the station icon for my application of Messages open a little red "1" on this subject, but I don't see a new message in the Messages - How can I find out who are the new unread messages?

    (3) once I am connected to Messages, can I make and take calls on my OS X laptop 10.9.5 via my iPhone on the same wifi network?

Just to be sure, all your questions relate to these features on your Mac? They have been added to the Mac with the upgrade to OS X Yosemite. You'll need spend as Mavericks to use.

With respect to the Dock icon, new messages have a small blue dot to the left of the name of contacts - it looks like a new message on the iPhone.

  • A way to send and receive the SMS messages on ThinkPad T440 with Sierra EM7345

I have a T440 with Sierra LTE. It works fine to connect to mobile networks.

But here in New Zealand, one of our suppliers also provides free wifi hotspots to customers on certain plans. To use this property, I have to enter a password which is sent to me by SMS.

Is it possible that I can display SMS messages sent to the SIM card inside my laptop?

Now, I need to remove the SIM card from my ThinkPad (with all the hassles that implies), paste it into my phone, get the password, then transfer the SIM card in my ThinkPad (and often do not, it is y no food taken located nearby, so I can't restart because I had to disable the internal battery during the installation/uninstallation of the SIM card).

So, if someone can point to a way I can just see these SMS messages on my ThinkPad, I'm grateful enernally.

  • Audible alert options for SMS messages

Why is it after all the releases of the webos you can't always choose different sounds for incoming SMS messages?  The sound of an incoming message is also identical to an incoming message.  I submitted an application for this feature with justification several months back and still no change.  They have a high priority for change the clock police but not the sound alert for SMS single and adjustable?

The problem here is that I am a COMPUTER professional who is oncall 24 x 7.  I use SMS messages to inform me of any databases and server problem that must be solved immediately.  With the PRE, the sound is so light that I never hear it while I SLEEP.  The alert is too soft, too quiet, too short and sound identical to spam entering the phone.  I need an alert that will make noise.  I've owned three other phones palm I used for this same purpose and never had a problem before.  They were the Treo 300 600 and 700.

Does anyone else have this problem?  Or people buy this phone as a gadget and not care about audible alerts SMS?  I think that people in the I / T field are the main users of this device and it would be a major difficulty.  I might have to empty this phone just for the next short if it isn't fixed soon or I might do a bad evaluation at work ( ).

    PALM, help out me here!

If you open the messaging application, in the menu drop down go to preferences & accounts. There is 'Sound' by default its alarm system. You can change into a ringtone to choose from all your ringtones, you can add any mp3 to ringtone PRE list which allows them to select what you want. This does not change your ringtone for calls, which remains the same.

The email app, you can only use the default tone he has. Or you can turn it off, set to vibrate. These options are in the accounts section & Pref in the email app, click on the email account and they are raised.

I have the U.S. cellular moto x model xt1093 and for some reason some people keep telling me that I am sending duplicate messages. Sometimes up to 3 times. I use messenger to Google as my application to send SMS messages by default but it happens on the stock SMS app, but also meeting places. Any suggestions?

    Edit: I'm still in 4.4.4

I had this problem in the past with me bike origin x and s3, this has nothing to do with the phone. It is a network of the USC problem. #228 and it should fix the problem. It normally happens to me when I am roaming.

  • SMS messages that appear in the wrong order

I've had this phone for 1 week verizon's version now, and from the beginning I was using Message + for texting. Since yesterday I have SMS messages or send/recieve began to appear in the wrong order. For example, USUALLY the person who finally got a text Message from their conversation thread is displayed at the top of the list. Now, it's not happeneing. In addition, in a conversation thread most recent SMS sent/received message does not appear in consecutive order. Rather, older messages (from yesterday) will appear at the bottom, and to see the latest messages sent/received I need to scroll to the top of the older posts. Why my texts appear without all of a sudden? Any ideas?

Message + is not an app Sony stock so if you have a problem with it either to your network or the developer of the game store for example to bring that to their attention

  • Recieved SMS message don't show up as a preview/banner

Hi guys, my xperia z3 new compact arrived today, but I'm having some trouble

I want my phone displays a banner that scrolls down from the top of the screen when I receive a text message sender and message alert name post content (such as banners on iphone) phones me that I have a new SMS message, this banner should I show when I use

currently when I receive a message all get alert me is the noise of message, an icon on the top of the phone, but not banner

After searching the forums, I believe some users call it a preview of the message, I always called him a notification banner and I'm not sure of the exact term

a friend has the same phone and its been on the box, so I know that it is possible

to confirm this, a new phone with the only apps installed are those that come pre installed

and in my messenger app > "notifications" settings are turned on

and in settings > sound & notification > notifications app > "block" is not enabled, and 'priority' is messaging

any help or ideas would be greatly apreciated

    Liam

I think the difference here is the versions of software in your phones (or perhaps the e-mail application used). The old version with Android 4.4 you will see name of shippers without drag down the notification bar but in Android 5/5.1 you will need to slide down the notification at the top bar to see a preview when using our messaging app. But if you go to Hangouts for SMS you need not slide down. Open meeting places and go to settings-> SMS-> SMS disabled to switch to meeting places.

  • BlackBerry Z10 Do not receive SMS Messages in my charger to 2013 with Uconnect

I have a Z10 paired with my charger of 2013 with uConnect (RE2).  I can make calls, but I don't get notification of SMS messages through the system.  My old Curve 9360 used to work properly with my Grand Caravan 2012 and uconnect for texting.

Is there an incompatibility between BB10 and uconnect?

    10.2.1.1925 OS version

I have no way of knowing... I don't have a UConnect system, do not not an identical experience. But on my Honda Civic, 2013, everything comes through in the car very well display/voice system. Thus, one could guess that indeed there is an incompatibility between your specific UConnect system and your specific version of the BB10... but, as the KB has suggested to, check the compatibility of Chrysler could be a useful thing to do for you.

    Good luck!

  • SMS message not fill

I use the code shown in this example:

    http://docs.BlackBerry.com/en/developers/deliverables/11935/Create_new_populated_text_msg_565424_11...

I'm trying to load a SMS message pre-filled in the Messages application, the user can then choose to modify and/or to send.

The Messages app shows up with a new SMS message open and the populated address, but the message itself is empty.  I see this on simulators and physical devices.

It is a problem experienced with the later versions of the operating system - there is an open ticket in the developer issues tracking system.

You can not.  But you can craft an SMS so that it does not appear in the Inbox.  This article explains how.

  • We can send SMS messages to a BB device programmatically?

Can someone tell can send us SMS to a BB device programmatically? If Yes, then how it is possible?

MessageListener can be used to read the SMS message and make a small operation on the device?

Not the answer to your question. But I think it will give more of your understanding of the problem.

There is a way to send sms via applications through what we call servers SMS-gate.

Usually the server SMS-door installed on the site of a wireless provider.

And if you want to use this server, you must sign the contract with your provider of wireless and get access to this server. You will get technical documentation - addresses, protocols, URL, etc..
