  First try a battery pull restarts, if it is still impossible to locate and remember it's not hidden, to check that the screen is in the Panel Home screen ALL > press the Menu key and select "Show all icons" or icon to display "." It will show all of the icons that were previously hidden. If you see BlackBerry Messenger icon like grayed then highlight it and press the Menu key and select the icon to display, also search your folders as the Application of Instant Messaging folder, etc..

  If it is still impossible, then try reinstalling the BBM, but first on your homescreen go to Options > device > application management > locate and delete BlackBerry Messenger from this list.

  I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

  (1) registry HRT

  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

  (3) restart to take batt

  • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you must go back and see your provider... they are 100% responsible for the delivery of all services and support for you and you are now paying them for a service they are not a.   I downloaded the new update to Blackberry Device Software v5.0 yesterday, and I discovered that my Blackberry Messenger has disappeared.  Here's what I tried to get it back (and none of them worked):

  1A tried to 'restore' my BBM several times

  2 reset (pull out the battery) on my phone several times

  3. delete the "restore BBM" button/option (which, for whatever reason, deleted my application AppWorld) and re-installed BBM

  My phone details are below.  If you have any suggestions on how I can fix this, please help!  I love BBM and I would like to start using it again.

  I found the fix that works is to remove the app BBMessenger Options > Advanced > Applications.

  Then restart: with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

  Once back to the top, then use your BlackBerry browser to go to http://www.blackberry.com/blackberrymessenger and download and install the application again.

  Once completed and restart the device once again, look in the instant messaging or downloads folder.

  I've got BES both BIS working in my BlackBerry. BES has the email that I use at work. BIS has configured my Hotmail account. Both work fine, but when I tried to use Windows Live Messenger in my BlackBerry I realized that the emails of Hotmail stopped coming.

  If I connect to Windows Live Messenger from my BlackBerry, from a Windows computer, or within Hotmail (inside the web browser) I no longer receive mail. Everything I do from my BlackBerry still affects my Hotmail account (mark an e-mail as read, delete or sending an e-mail using my Hotmail account).

  When I sign out of Windows Live Messenger and you receive another email, all delays and the new email come to my BlackBerry and guard mail very well until I connect to Windows Live Messenger again. I do not receive the emails delayed until I get a new once the connection from Windows Live Messenger.

  Already tried battery pull, remove and re-add the account of Hotmail in BIS and uninstall and reinstallation of Windows Live Messenger.

  Please, I know already all the love that some people have on other services of e-mail webmail (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.), which helps not at all.

  I searched the web and I have nothing, I hope someone can help me.

  Hi guys. I am new to the forum and I'll try to do this quickly. Since I installed the new BBM on my 9700 AT & T, it has a problem giving me my BBM. Sometimes it will not even make a sound alert, change the LED color or allow me to see the new message received unless I can get a glimpse into all my messages (e-mail, text SMS, MMS messages, etc.). Here is an example. I receive an alert by a BBM contact. I can see or see what they typed to me in all my messages, but once I try to view it by clicking on it, it won't be there. It will show only what I typed. So from there, I'll go into options in Blackberry Messenger and change any setting here that forces me to close by saving the new setting. Then when I go back to the message that I can't see, it will be displayed. I constantly have to do this just to show messages in my BBM contacts. Is there a setting that I've screwed up or y at - it something wrong with my Blackberry? I had to downgrade BBM was last updated and I don't want to do that, even when I don't have to.   As I already said if solution 1 fails to solve your problem follow the second workaround solution, reset your device to factory setting.   The India is not listed in the section connects to the "supported countries"... I can only imagine what is 'why', but normally does this have to do with government restrictions in this country. There are probably a few features of the new BBM the India has yet to be approved.
