Method to add the subclass to ArrayList with stubborn type; What's not here?

I have a list of paintings that I want to hold a list of objects that are all derivatives of a given type.

I want a method that will add something to this ArrayList regardless of what legal type it is.

I tried several ways; I thought that one of the two in the example code here would work, but none of them don't:

Forget the first half of my answer above. All the c r a p.

The answer lies in the fact that the wildcard character allows the substitution of an ArrayList of ANY type, provided that it is, or is a subtype of, ClassA. Which means that it could be aArrayList. If this is the case, then it does NOT allow the addition of a ClassA, and because the code is unable to know what is the actual type, may not allow additions.

I develop an application for extension adobe indesign with adobe flex 3.4 sdk.
the application object is to publish the document to a remote server.
I did well all options.
now I am facing problems to Polish.

(1) adding new page
Let's say that a particular indesign document (portrait) contains 6 pages.
Page 1, 2 are spread
Page 3
Page 4
Page 5, 6 are spread
Now, I will add a new page through the indesign extension.
When I try to add a new page. It will add to the last page of the spread. (Page 5, 6)
Finally, he became Page 5, 6 and 7 in propagation.
What I want is.

How to add the new model feature with tables of another data schema?
Hi all

I am trying to add an entity data model to my request. The tables I need are on a schema that does NOT have a default schema of connection of the connection. So I go through the Wizard add new Entity Data Model, generation from database, but then when it comes time to choose your database objects, the only thing that shows is all that is on the default schema. How can I access stuff to another schema with an entity data model?

(Tangentially: it is also a problem with the old Server Explorer simply itself - when adding an oracle db, I see the other schema object in the treeview control to break.) But when I right click the db and the new query, tables of other scheme become available to me here. "So it is less of a problem in the case of Server Explorer).

I found this small excerpt to reach other patterns, but I couldn't make it work in the case of the ora db. Any suggestions?

Suppose that schema_a has granted privileges to schema_b on database belonged to schema_a objects by running the GRANT statements.

RE add new bookmarks folder, can not enter the name of the new folder:

I am now having this problem with FireFox 10.0.2, 11/03/2012

When I click on add a folder, a new folder appears in the tree view and the folder name field is highlighted for the entry. But when I start to type characters in the field, I can only type 1 or 2 characters at the most seized stops accept input. I then go to the bookmarks menu, locate the new folder, right-click it, click Properties and complete the registration of the name of the folder.

At worst, the folder name field will cease to accept entry as soon as I type the first tank, in which case the name of the folder will remain as "new folder." I find the new folder in the bookmarks menu to change the name, as described above.

It is very annoying because it adds a number of additional steps just to add a new folder in the bookmarks menu. Add the new folder through the "Show all bookmarks" and navigate through the folder hierarchy are an alternative workaround, but that records all the steps.

It has worked well in Mode without failure. Thanks for the suggestion!

I'm going offline a bit to understand what add-on, plugin, etc., could be causing it. In the meantime, I have marked your suggestion to use Mode safe as useful so that anyone else coming here could get the clue.

I should probably drop another line in the thread for the guy who in (or has been) using FireFox 7...

I'll post my results if I can understand it.

UPDATE:

I went after any add-on which had nothing to do with bookmarks.

It was the first add-on I tried, SortPlaces 1.9.1 that automatically sorts bookmarks in various ways according to the parameters. When I disabled it, the problem disappeared.

I re-enabled it and checked the options to see if I could understand why she was stop to add the new folder. In the 'Options' tab, there is a time limit for how long interval SortPlaces will wait before you sort a bookmark changed or added. It was set to 3 seconds.

It is not long enough for old men by typing the new name of folder. I put it in 10 seconds. Then, I created a new folder of bookmarks and start typing a name long nonsense, while I looked at the clock. After that 10 seconds it stopped accepting the entrance, right on the mark. What this hidden for me earlier, it was that when he stops to accept input, you don't see the new folder to place in the position of sorting on the menu add a folder. Most of the new entries seems to be people that I have either written or received mail from. My address book is last name first. Many new entries have the same names but first name first. If so, it is called the Contacts Sidebar and TB38, default to 'All address books' and it'll show you a composite, consisting of all your address book address book which one you don't know you have, known as collected addresses.

If you click on "All address books" in the sidebar of Contacts, you will get a drop down menu where you can choose one of your address books. Personal address book could be the one suitable for you.

I do not use the sidebar. I just start typing addresses or names and an auto fill feature offers connections to the address book.

In my case, I am writing to the people and people have names, and their names are what I know them by. The spelling checker promised with firefox 6.0 does not work.

I upgraded to 6.0 because I was promised a spellchecker built to replace the one with the google toolbar that I would lose. I tried to test it, it didn't work. For example. Why the execution time increases with a while loop, but not with "run continuously?

I have a problem of severe weather that I don't know how to fix it because I don't know exactly where it comes from.

I order two RF switches via a data acquisition card (NI USB-6008). One job at the same time can be selected on each switch. Basically, the VI created for this feature (by a colleague) resets all the outputs of acquisition data and active then those desired. It has three entrances, two chain simp0le controls and a cluster table, that contains the list of all the outputs and some practical information to know what is connected (specific to my application).

I use this VI in a complex application, and I have some problems with the execution time, which increased whenever I said the VI, so I did a test VI (TimeTesting.vi) to determine where the problem came. In this special VI I record the execution time in a csv file to analyze then with excel.

After several tries, I found that if I run this criterion VI with the while loop, execution on every cycle time increases, but if I remove the while loop and use the funtionnality "Continuous run", the execution time remains the same. In my high level application, I have while loops and events, and so the runtime increases too.

I someone could explain to me why execution time increases and how can we avoid this? I have attached my VI test and the necessary subVIs, as well as an image of a graph that shows the execution time with a while loop and «run permanently»

I came across a problem recently. I wanted to be able to use drag - and list controls dropEnabled property and (on the same canvas) use the functionality of drag-and-drop automatic implemented other components (in this case, a combination of movable labels that can drag a group component). I wanted the labels to be moved in the entire screen, but only fall on the part of the Group (NOT the list). The items in the components list were supposed to be interchangeable between the lists in the set of properties dragEnabled and dropEnabled to true. The problem is that when I drag the labels of the groups on the lists a null #1009 object reference error is thrown because the list does not try to calculate the index fall for labels. I know that I could work around the problem by setting dropEnabled = false on the lists and implement drag - move by hand, but I hope that both variants of drag-and-drop coexist in a spirit of flexibility.

When you delete something on a spark list you will need to provide a dragSource not null in the format 'itemsByIndex', if you change your code to something like this, it should work:

I can't print from firefox. The paper feeds through the printer but does not print. The same web pages appear when I use internet explore. And the printer works fine with word, Excel etc, but not with firefox.

Whenever I try to print a page open in firefox it will not print. The paper feeds through the computer, but don't not pring.
