Mic line Audio/socket socket?

I was told that it should be possible with the A60 for Audio Line In via the microphone jack, it is just a case of changing the settings in the speech properties in Control Panel. The help file, said that it should be possible also. I tried several ways to change the mic jack into the Audio Line In, but without success.

Do you know of a way around this problem?

Thank you very much

Alex

Hi Alex

I'm a bit confused with your explanation. Can you please describe what you want to do exactly? Are what you tried to connect an external audio source to your device (CD player or something like that)?

This is the very interesting theme and can you explain what did you already tried and you have changed the settings. AFAIK in control of Volume under Options you can select properties and under record there is a list where you can select what volume can be shown and there may be mute option is disabled.

    Hello

    Just reply:
This laptop has only entered microphone and headphone output.
The headphone jack allows you to connect headphones stereo, or other devices to audio output of the external speakers. The microphone jack to connect a mini-jack three conductors type for a mono microphone.

    My problem:

    1. The value of Skype to use the cam of Logitech microphone
    2. Start the group video call

    4. When I switch back to the internal mic of the computer laptop, audio is fixed and I can hear everything normally.

I've only been able to reproduce this problem when I choose to use the microphone into the Logitech cam. I checked that this problem does not occur when:

    1. I put Skype to use internal for Skype + mic

  • "Shenanigans" with the car dock - sometimes is not load, sometimes the line audio stops...

    So - I bought the AT & T w/o the 12VDC power supply kit.

I have three of them already, so I thought no big deal, but here is the result:

-A supply of 500mA. No charge and the phone continues to flow.

-A single port of 1000mA supply - I get the (fresh) lightning for an hour, then stops and begins to bleed

-A double-USB 1000mA supply - I get the Flash most of the time, but phone seems to "slow charge" only

I decided to buy something different. The iPad has a much higher load must be (10 watts) so I thought that the Atrix might need something similar because of the screen, BT, GPS and radio satellite continuously at the same time.

I bought a Belkin USB power designed to support the iPad, so there a power of 2100mA @ 5VDC thinking she would probably charge the Atrix - and he did it, worked like a champ, except when it is plugged in, the audio power stops via the audio jack of 3.5 mm on the dock cable car. As soon as I unplug the power supply, audio comes immediately.

I'm trying to find the specs on the Motorola offers that Docks with the OEM racing car but there is no information on the sales of motorcycle brand site. Anyone know?

MP3 player will not play to Mic Jack. Is it because I don't have DD Realtek Audio Manager Setup correctly?

Also is it possible to play MP3 via a USB Port

    THX

    Hello

What cell phone do you have?
The mic jack records the audio signal. But I guess you want to use the mic line-in socket. Right?
Usually, you need to set the default device in the recording tab.
In Control Panel-> sound-> recording tab.

If you don't see me not all other devices but only mic jack then you must right-click and should allow the options; Show hidden devices and show disabled devices.
Maybe then, you can enable line.

Otherwise, this option is not available and is not possible

  • Satellite L750 - to change the input Mic and Line In

Hi, I have a Toshiba Satellite L750 running Window 7. I have a small studio in which I have a mixer connected to a drum kit.

On my old Toshiba Satellite C660, when I plugged it to the output of the mixer to the microphone, a pop box port up appeared asking me what I had just plugged.
I chose Line In and everything was fine

With the L750, I get no such box and the computer just treats it as a microphone, as it compresses everything from the port.

I tried the Smart Audio installed in the control panel and it does nothing. Is there anywhere that I can choose the socket is treated as Line In, no microphone.

    Getting boring now!

    Thank you

    > On my old Toshiba Satellite C660, when I plugged it to the output of the mixer to the microphone, a pop box port up appeared asking me what I had just plugged.

Yes, but the Satellite C660 was equipped with a microphone / lin in the port.
Are you sure that your L750 supports a combi jack mic / lin in?

You can find the description in the user manual.

  • Headset audio problem Latitude E5530

    Hello
    I have a Latitude E5530, with Windows 7 64 bit.
This laptop has been formatted in a couple of days and underwent a re-installation from scratch.
I installed all the drivers that you can find on the Web site. The audio works well with the speakers, but you hear no sound if you plugin the helmet. I don't know if it worked before the format; I know that running a different operating system (Xubuntu 13.04 64.bit) everything works like a charm, no audio problem.

Clues about what is happening here?

    Thank you!

    Browar00
Is there an option on E5530 to change the audio output of the speakers/headphones to line-in?

There is no line-in socket on the E5530. It has a simple audio plug, known as a helmet or jack combo. It combines the output of headphone and mono microphone input into a socket. It cannot be used for stereo plug-in software component line

Even if you could change the audio output to the mic input jack (which is not possible that re-wiring of the plug), they are both the same plug. The only change that would achieve, is that the output would be mono instead of stereo.

He had instlled software Realtek but no option to use the IDT internal microphone

Hello. As you say, your laptop has audio Realtek so it is unclear what you mean by "Microphone internal IDT. Dell doesn't use audio Realtek so IDT in the same model of laptop.

Here are some other ways to save in addition to using the built-in microphone.

    > External mic. Because the Inspiron 7537 only has a headphone jack, you can't use a regular computer microphone which would have a TRS plug, but instead, you must use a headset with a plug from SOCKET that looks like this:

"Headphones" is the headphones with a microphone. You can also use a regular mic which has a TRS plug if you get an adapter to convert it to a plug from SOCKET. The adapter is called a "helmet buddy."

    > A usb microphone.

    > If you want to record a stereo signal, you can do that through your headphone socket because its entry is mono only. To save the stereo, you need an adapter usb audio with a "line-in" socket Don't get one that has only a mic jack because it will be only mono too.

I want to record from a file

    > If the file is already in your computer, you can internally record in the computer by selecting 'stereo mix' as default device in the recording of the sound Properties tab. If you do not see the stereo mix, right-click in the empty area of the tab to open the context menu and select "Show disabled devices". (You must have your installed Realtek audio driver).

  • Audio stuck all playing without stop-Windows 7

    Hello

I have a dell inspiron 1545 laptop, running on version Home premium to Windows 7. Recently, I re-installed the windows by using the backup utility dell to the factory settings and after that, my audio started stuck while playing music (audio feels like the computer hangs). I tried to update the IDT audio driver by using Device Manager, but says that the driver is up-to-date. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the driver but no use. Will this be the problem of my audio driver or hardware problems. Please suggest something that I can fix this...

    Hello, Annick,.

Thanks for posting your question on the forum of the Microsoft community.

I would like to know some information about the problem so that we can help you better.

You did the hardware changes to your computer recently?

Make sure that your speakers are properly connected to your computer.

Many computers have taken three or more who connect to a sound card or sound processor, including a jack for microphone, line-in jack and line-out. Your speakers should be plugged into the line-out socket. If you don't know what it is, try plugging your speakers to each of the jacks to see if any of them produce the sound.

In some cases, you can work around the problem by disabling optional speaker effects that are known as improvements. If the disabling effects speaker resolves the problem, you may need to update your audio driver.

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:
Run the troubleshooting of Audio playback
    Reference:

  • Strange behavior of audio subsystem after update Dev Alpha 10 to 10.0.9.388

    Hello world!

Has anyone noticed a strange behavior of the behavior of 10.0.9.388 audio subsystem firmware. Recently, after firmware update Dev Alpha 10 to 10.0.9.388 subsystem audio misbehavies in the following way:

    (1) if the external headphones/speakers connected to the audio line-out looks to be preprocessed by low-pass filter and surround effect. The device reported by AudioManager is/dev/snd/pcmPrefferedp. Would it be a bug in formware and re-routing audio internal speaker to the line-out socket did not exclude specific pre-treatment?

    (2) on the previous firmwares if audio goes out of the internal speaker and then the helmet is connected to Jack line out change of itinerary was seemlesly happening and he kept playing with headphones without additional measures in the application. Now, peripheral audio is not consume audio samples and so crashes until it is closed and reopened.

On the previous firmwares were not all the problems of this kind. Would be - what a few unlucky flashing firmware try (if it is still possible) or bug of 10.0.9.388.

It will be good to hear comments & thoughts about these questions.

    Best regards

    Dmitry.

Hello, I have a laptop XPS M1210, running Vista Home Ultimate with his SigmelTel card. I'm unable to play any device that is plugged into the line-in socket through the M1210 speakers. I installed the drivers from Dell and I am able to record audio device, so I think the online part works. Unfortunately, I could not find this key nor exactly where he created within the registry. Is there a way to make it work under Vista? Thank you!!! Jose
