  • Nano doesn't detect sensor

iPod nano 6th will does not detect my sport kit sensor. What can I do?

A nano gen 6 doesn't have Bluetooth integrated as the 7th gen nano.  You need the Bluetooth receiver that connects to the dock connector.  It's the white thing that you see next to the sensor

    http://www.CNET.com/products/Nike-Plus-iPod-Sport-Kit/

You have the receiver AND the sensor?  With a 7th gen nano, you need just the sensor that goes on your shoe.  With the previous iPod nano models, you also need the receiver.

  • Screen light sensor

Hello, I have a problem with the Z5 perhaps compact cause automatic light, the sensor, cause sometimes the screen is quite dark same Sun and other times she keep changing the lighting... and that make it difficult to see the content. How can you trouble? Is this normal? Thank you

Hello!! I watched the Adaptive brightness Meanwhile and I must say that it works really well, but it is so sensitive that any movement in a different direction where is the difrent brightness changes, so if I'm in a place with a few different intensities of light I need to put the mobile in the direction it's better (as I am I have a place with the light above me) (, but behind it is less the sensor takes a bit less, I hope it's a good explanation). The problem may be known as resolted on my part at this time Cheers

I'm working on an application on BB10 webworks and I try to put both a portrait and landscape of the start screen. I followed the API document using screen resolutions, but it does not draw the start of landscape screen (use only one portrait). I test this directly on the Z10 using a debugging token.

    My config file is:

It seems that the 10.1 update fixed this problem for me. The application is now coming the start screen correct based on the orientation of the screen.

  • LCD screen detected as "Plug 'n' Play monitor" (HP tx2635us)

    Hi guys:

I recently bought a HP Pavilion tx2635us PC tablet and had already updated almost all of its drivers (LAN, WiFi, video, sound, chipset, BIOS) but the LCD reamains recognized as 'Plug Play monitor '. I've searched all over the web, including of course the site of software and drivers for this specific model, and even in the CD that came with the Tablet PC, but have not found yet the right drivers for the LCDs to recognzed correctly.

Where can I find these drivers?

    Thank you much in advance.

There is no change in the frequency of refresh on a monitor lcd anyway. They are 60 hz by default but it is not the same as a 60 hz. rate on a monitor of type tube refresh. There is no specific lcd driver.

  • 3D Issue of the Qosmio F755 - 3d 350 after replacing the screen

Hi, I had a problem with my Toshiba Qosmio F755 3D350 broken LCD screen and I have to replace it with a new screen.

The new screen is the same model: B156HB01 V.0 of electronics AU, who had the original on my laptop screen.

everything works fine resolution, the camera, but when it comes to 3D it doesn't have the Leds on the webcam is not turn on and activate the wiggle stereoscopy.
How do I activate again the 3D or where is the problem?

    Thank you.

    Hello

As far as I know after LCD (screen) or webcam or Exchange/replacement disassembly it s necessary to calibrate the LCD screen 3D sensor chip using special 3D calibration tool.

This calibration can be performed by the Toshiba authorized service provider only!

It seems that you have no choice to contact the ASP in your country to make this 3D calibration.

  • free fall detection

    Hello

I want to add a free fall detection to my prototype using myDAQ and LabVIEW. I need to come out with a program. How to make using the screws and what type of fall detection sensor/hardware do I need? I am a student and a low-cost project.  As I have no knowledge about this. Thank you very much!

    Best regards

get the x, y and z acceleration of your MEMS VAC triax. sensor, compute the acceleration vector resulting, if the amplitude of the vector is less than a threshold of (0.1 g?) assumes that the free fall.

Why not zero g?  Well, if your device is running your sensor migth read acceleration falling ... and you still have the noise

If you're lucky, your MEMS sensor already has an output interrupt dedicated to free fall...

      1. power phone is turned off and turned on, did not even FM

2 is gone in the settings, deleted hidden, disabled, enabled... Follow step 1 again. still no use

3 lost all hope, simply blocked screen... FM started playing... If I unlock the screen, it stops working...

      Any suggestion pls?

      Hi @xcuseme123,

Sgizmo may be something here, you happen to be activated from any screen detection 'Ok Google'? You can check this in the Google app if you press the three lines in the upper left corner, and then tap Settings > voice > detection "Ok Google." If 'from any screen"is enabled here, try to disable it and see how behaves FM radio after doing so.

    3. Cannot take Photos using the LCD

I just bought a D60 and when I try to take a picture using the LCD screen and auto focus it won't take the picture.  It will however, when I get out of auto focus or when I use the viewfinder.  But not using the LCD and AV screen on.

Everyone knows about this problem?  If so, how to solve it?

I assume you mean that the 60 d (he was in fact a D60, but it is more than 10 years.)

Development of systems should has enough light and (b) an object with a certain contrast.

For example: she would have a hard time focusing on a wall of ordinary color in dim light.  But if you give him something with contrast, going to an easier time concentrating.

What kind of lighting you have and what kind of subject you want to photograph?

Have you tried to test the system under ideal circumstances (beautiful light bright and contrasting topics?)

Either way... using the camera through the viewfinder will still be faster to use liveview.  The camera actually uses different systems development depending on how you use it.

When you use the viewfinder, autofocus camera sensors use "phase detection".  These sensors are not on the image sensor.   The reflex mirror bounces low light these sensors.  The sensors are looking for contrasting edges.  Through a Prism-like efect, part of the image moves in one direction and in the other part (imagine use a pair of scissors to cut a picture into two halves and then slightly evil align the image along the cut).  The amount of the displacement varies according to the distance of focus on the subject.   The camera is capable of analyzing the pixels along the edge to determine how the two halves should adjust, and with this, it can determine how the focus needs to be adjusted in order to bring together the image.

There is an additional advantage to the phase system to detect.  The system is able to analyze all areas of focus at the same time.  The direction of movement tells the camera that he needs to focus closer or further away.  That means in a moment, the camaera knows _which _ AF point is on the nearest subject and he knows how and to what extent the development must settle before the picture comes to focus.  That means the phase detect AF systems is generally useless to "hunt" for focus... they know exactly which way to turn the update and how far to go to get a lock.

The phase detection system is very fast.

When the camera using the "live view" mode, the reflex mirror was swinging clear so that the light can strike the image sensor.  This means the tiny mirrors that bounce light in the development of phase-detect sensors are not in-game camera cannot use this system.

Instead, it analyzes the image on the sensor trying to achieve maximum contrast in the target areas.

The best example I can think of is to imagine a "UPC code" (bar code) and imagine what it looks like when it is 'in' focus 'out' of focus vs.  If it is, in short, you have a white background with rows of sharp, crisp, black.  But if you think that involved... colors each pixel is 'white' (background) or 'black' (scratches).  There is no pixel 'gray '.    Now, imagine this same barcode horribly blurred... you have a white background, but when you approach a black line, go you through a lot of "grey" get pixels gradually darker until you get to the black parts of the streak.   The camera knows that he emphasized when she reached the highest possible contrast between adjacent pixels.

Unlike the "detection phase" development, the system of 'contrast' doesn't know what direction to adjust to get the update.  It samples should be taken... (adjust and see if it is better or worse... If it gets worse, reverse the sense of the update and try again).  Not only the computer did not have to do further analysis to detect if the image is sharp... He must do more iterations because of the problem of hunting of accent.

Point & shoot cameras and 'live view' mode on cameras digital SLRS generally use this system of the development of "contrast detection.  The system is extremely accurate... but the drawback is that the computer has to analyze the image for contrast several times and it's not nearly as fast as the phase detect sensors (which are usually extremely fast).

Cameras struggle to concentrate when there are nothing to do with contrast high to base its analysis.  They struggle in low light because there is not much difference between the dark and light areas.

Canon has a new system called the "double pixel" AF.  They essentially combined the "phase detection" technology right on the sensor by creating micro-prismes on the surface of the imaging sensor itself.  The camera is actually capable of doing the "phase detection" style auto-focus directly on the surface of the sensor (never possible and Canon are the only company that got it.)

The new 70 d is the first DSLR (and currently only) to get the system.

If shoot you, you don't have the choice... the mirror must be upward in order to record videos so the camera can only use by contrast detection focus when shooting video *-with the exception of the D 70 because he can actually do "phase detection" focus directly on the sensor.

    4. GPU on Satellite P100-217 fan never turns on running Linux Gentoo

      Hello

I am running Linux (Gentoo) on my P100-217 (Geforce 7600). The graphic card fan never turns on, and the GPU gets to a temperature higher than 100 ° C when executing some 3d games. When I boot to windows, the graphics fan does not turn and the GPU is much cooler, running the same games.

Can someone Toshiba please give me some information on how to solve this problem under Linux.

      Here is some additional information:

All by using the computer to randomly screen goes completely black.  After a few attempts at tapping trackpad or a bite or two, screen turns on but then log on to the computer. Program I was running is still there and continues on. Hi James,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple! I'm sorry to hear that you are having these problems with your MacBook Pro. I'm a bit ambiguous on the screen exactly who you see when you log in, but according to your description it looks that your computer may be involuntarily go to sleep. If this is the case, you can find the troubleshooting steps in the following article useful:

If your Mac does not sleep or wake up when expected - Apple supports

As mentioned in this article, another possibility on laptops like the MacBook Pro is that the screen closed sensor may be triggered unintentionally. There is a small magnetic sensor in portable computers and sometimes, being close to things like briefcases magnetic closure or magnetic jewelry can cause him to think that the display was closed, which then puts the machine in a locked sleep state. If possible, you can test the issue on an office open without any potential source of interference.

    6. Since USB to printer wireless problem. Help!

My computer is a windows xp from 2002.  Recently, I spent a WiFi modem with connection wi - fi and got everything hooked up okay, except for the HP printer will not print from the computer now.  I can only use the printer manually now.  It shows that it is connected wireless now, but I get an error when I try to print anything the computer off "work has not print due to an error in the printery system".  I ran the wizard wireless to the printer, but still nothing.  I'm not very good at that kind of stuff.  I need someone who knows what to do, cause I sure can't seem to solve this problem.

You need to "install" your printer as a wireless printer.  The icon is now displayed in the printers and faxes is connected by USB installation.  After the wireless installation is finished, you can either leave the premiera or delete it.

For your printer user's Guide should be on the CD supplied with the printer. It may have been copied to your computer when you did the initial installation.  If you don't, go here--> http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01856408.pdf

The User Guide of your Motorola cable modem (which includes a wireless router) is here--> http://tinyurl.com/bayh7wt

I'm not sure from your description, but I think that you run the "Wireless Setup Wizard" using the controls on the front panel of the printer, as described on pages 62 and 63 of the printer User Guide.  Assuming that's what you were doing, you seem to have stopped before moving on to step 6... which is actually an entirely additional process which is described on page 66 of the use and copied below Guide.  When you perform this procedure, your computer must be connected to the cable modem, or with an Ethernet cable or its own wireless connection.

NOTE: If the HP Photosmart camera is not connected to a network, run it wireless
Setup Wizard in the network menu on the HP Photosmart camera. If during software
installation, the software cannot find the product over the network or you were
Unable to run the Wireless Setup Wizard, you will be prompted to
temporarily to connect the unit to the computer via the USB setup cable
install the HP Photosmart camera on your network. Do not connect the USB installation cable
to the computer so that you are prompted.
      3. If an on the Firewall dialog box appears, follow the instructions. If you see a popup of firewall
messages, you must always accept or allow the pop-up messages.
      4. on the connection Type screen, select an appropriate option, and then click Next.
The search screen is displayed as Setup search the product on
      the network.
      5. in the printer screen detected, make sure the printer description is correct.
