Microsoft 6to4 adapt #38 works do not (code 31). What is a not-very-savy computer grandfather to remedy?

Without counting that the adapter works do not, I could only code Ox80040154 starting from the center of Fix-It as well.

  • Microsoft 6to4 adapt #5 problem

I had a Compaq Presario using Windows Vista Home Premium for about four years. All of a sudden, I'm having a problem with my two printers - an HP LaserJet 4000 spits out blank pages and the 932C HPDeskJet prints very slowly. Diagnostics of material that came with the computer tells me I have a problem with Microsoft 6to4 adapt #5 and give me a "code 31".  I ran Microsoft Fix - it and he has successfully performed two operations, but the problem persists. the only difference is that my diagnosis is no longer gives me an alert to the problem and I can't have the exact language of the problem.

I have used the system restore and restored my system to an earlier date to an automatic update of a device driver package, but it does not solve the problem, although the printers worked fine on the date to which the computer has been restored.

    What should I do now.

    Thank you.

    Hello

These driver issues should not be a part of the print issue.

As OEM HP is responsible for the good operation of the printer and their drivers.
Check with HP Support, their drivers and documentation online and ask in their forums.
on known issues with these printers.

Good luck, you need to update or reinstall the latest driver.

Think about it an absolute must - manually update your drivers.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htm

Installation and update of drivers under Windows 7 (updated drivers manually using the methods
above is preferred so that the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system and device manufacturers are
    found)
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then
get new manually if you wish.

    Hi Lucie,.

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

What is brand and model your computer?

Problems with the touchpad can occur due to a number of causes, including cables that are not connected properly, lack of updates, corrupt or drivers incompatible or because of hardware problems. So, I would suggest trying the following steps and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1:

Try to run the suite of equipment fixit and see if the problem still occurs.

Hardware devices do not work or are not detected in Windows

    Method 2:

See the additional steps provided in the following article.

No, it's just done so it was updated.

    For 6to4 adapters:

Nothing else to do, Windows will do the rest. And you can ignore the errors altogether if you want and

On a Windows Vista-based computer or on a Windows Server 2008, Microsoft computer

  • adapter Xbox works is not in India? damaged

I am in India and on the connection of the 110-127 V through an Indian converter adapter (220V 100V converter voltage in India is 220V) the heated converter and the Xbox has not started. This xbox was bought for me by my brother in November 2012 in US and translated in India recently. What is now the solution. Help, please...

It is possible that your Xbox is fine and that your transformer (converter) is just defective. However, the transformer may have been defective and caused considerable damage to your Xbox.

It is normal for the transformers get warm (but not hot/smoking) during normal use, which in itself should not be taken as a sign that its defective. It can simply not provide what the Xbox needs.

Whether you have your hardware need professionally looked into the case otherwise you may cause further damage your Xbox or the risk of fire. A transformer overheating caused my ZX Spectrum to burn in the 1980s (a sad day).
