Hi Vekeman_andy,

You use Windows 7 on a computer in the domain?

The question you have posted is linked to a server certificate and would be better suited in the Technet forums. Please visit the link below to find a community that will support what ask you

For reference:
Trusted root certificates that are required by Windows Server 2008 R2 from Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP and Windows 2000

Hope this information helps.

    Hello

    ·         Is it the driver originally a problem with the functionality of the operating system?

    ·         What is the brand and model of the computer?

    ·         Do you have updated all the latest drivers for the computer?

Follow these methods and check if that helps:

    Method 1:

If your computer is having problems with a recently installed device or other hardware, try to use the hardware and peripheral troubleshooting tool to solve the problem.

Open the hardware and devices Troubleshooter

    Method 2:

I suggest to uninstall the driver and restart the computer and let Windows automatically installs the drivers and check if that helps.

Open the Device Manager - Windows - Microsoft

    Method 3:

I suggest you to contact the manufacturer of your computer, and update the divers most recent for the computer.

I had to disable the "User Account Control" (UAC), which allows you to run as administrator in Vista.  After that I turned it off, all 4 of these updates installed and it doesn't require manual installation.   Follow these steps:

In the case of Vista view:

1.) go to start; Control Panel; "User accounts and family safety"; User accounts.
2.) click on 'Enable user account control or disable' (last point on the page)
3.) clear the checkbox "Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer" and click "OK."
4.) restart the computer, and then run the installation of the system and they work.

If you are in Classic view:

1.) go to start; Control Panel; Security Center
2 screen.) in the "Windows Security Center", go to the last item "User Account Control" and click the button to turn off.

You can also see the security shield in your Start menu.  You can also access the UAC via this.

After that the installation of the system have been updated, make sure that you go back and turn the UAC "" and then restart your computer so that unauthorized updates do not occur.   Always try this turn off if install doesn't work.

  • Microsoft folder duplicated - how to stop it?

To temporarily free space on C, I copied c:\users\\appdata\local\microsoft to my root of drive D ((j'ai apporté aucune modification à tous les programmes).)  Later, I copied the file to the original location on C.

Now, even if the folder and all its content is where they were originally, every time I start up Windows 7 (Ultimate 64-bit), Windows re - creates a Microsoft file on my D drive.  The subfolder is Windows and its subfolders are Burn and history.  The only way I can delete the new folder of Microsoft is using UnLockIT.  UnLockIT reports that explorer.exe, chrome.exe (when it is open), and if I have an open gadget - sidebar.exe, ding.exe (Southwest Airlines), and YahooWidgets.exe are locking this new folder of Microsoft.  If I kill all these processes, I can delete the file, but shortly after (or restart if I restart immediately, the folder is recreated).
Windows or programs are confused by what I did.  How to view the site of origin, so Windows continues to create this new folder of Microsoft?

Thank you for your response.  I actually found the fix faster on the link below.  Simply to correct several lines in the registry pointing to re instead of C.

  • MS Office 2013 missing EXE files

I just installed a Seagate Backup (purchased from Dell) Plus drive on my XPS 8.1 Win system.  Installed SW of backup supplied with the player.

Now I can't open MS Office 2013 applications (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint), but no problem with any other application installed on the PC.

Location of the file checked programs icons to point to and .exe files are missing! (FYI, this is c: Program Files > Microsoft Office 15 > root > office 15 > OUTLOOK.) EXE, etc.)

Now that I think of it, I had a Windows Installer update automatically yesterday, which may have caused the problem.

Someone at - he saw this problem, and is my only solution to reinstall the applications?  I don't like this major corruption occur for unknown reasons.  Who knows what else is hidden here?

    Thanks, Nadine,.

I just went ahead and reinstalled Office, which worked well.  Not know what caused the problem; the mod only SW was the update of windows. Solving the problems of Update site corrected MS 2 'mistakes' in the previous version. No idea why, but everything clear now.

  • Untrusted publishers

I accidentally deleted certificates of editors not approved in the contents dialog box, how do I get back them.  Basically, they're saying FRAUDULENT: no Microsoft, no more.  I've tried to resolve another problem of cert, advises him to clean everything out of the folder, but later was told to not remove anything Microsoft.  Received this message too late.  Please help.  Thank you.

If you are using Internet Explorer 8, and then if the site isn't in the untrusted list it will block automatically (if they are not valid)
Also, try to update your Windows Microsoft will release root certificate.

Event 1530 is logged as a warning event. Specifically, it occurs because Windows automatically closes any registry handle to a user profile that is left open by an application.

If this event occurs frequently, it may be useful to follow the guilty program (start with a clean boot programs and initialize one by one until the message begins to reproduce), but for the most part, it's way to Windows 7 is to tell you it has detected a problem and fixes it so I don't think that more action on your part is absolutely necessary.

Event ID: 1530 can be saved in the Application on a Windows Vista or a newer computer log

  • WIN8 Apps (including Office 2013/365) crash when printing to Canon 8350CDn

Hi - I tried to find info about this problem on the Forum Office 365, but they sent me here...

I have a Canon 8350CDn... When I try to print to this printer from these apps, Office 2013, Notepad, Wordpad immediately crash.

Other applications, including IE10, Firefox, ACDSee, Acrobat, all print just fine. It's only the Windows/Office products that crash.

I was told that it is the driver, but Canon is quite convinced that the problem must be with Windows because other applications print just fine.

AND, here, the pleasure is: what happens on 3 different computers, all expenses installs Win8 and office 2013/365. THUS, it is not something on a particular machine. Something is wrong, either with the Windows driver.

I'll look forward to aid - is not not able to print is a major obstacle and it is making me long for Win7 and Office 2010...

Try to update the driver for your printer. You can get the driver from your printer manufacturer's Web site.

    This is not enough.

Now that you have done this outside, I saw the same behavior in the CAPI2 log file event viewer. My Windows 7 clients have attempted to access both URLS in the field of http://crl.microsoft.com/

None of the posts that I had seen on this had referred to the need for this path.

    Thank you

    Michael

    Hello

Here is a definition of basis for the CSF in general terms. You can search Google using "Certificate Revocation List" and find a lot more information.

It is also possible that direct X is looking for some updated drivers

What is happening is that your browser is verification of certificates caused, is perfectly normal and safe, its to protect you

    Good day

    Hello

    (1) what is the complete error message you receive?

    (2) when exactly you get this error message?

    (3) how long have you been faced with this problem?

You can ignore this error message. This error message does not indicate a problem with the adapter. The adapter will continue to function correctly.

    See the article below

On a Windows Vista-based computer or on a Windows Server 2008-based computer, the Microsoft ISATAP map appears with a yellow exclamation mark next to it in Device Manager, and you also receive an error message

  • Installed Windows 10. Now cannot open a Word attachment. Microsoft is not going to help with what they say, it's a Firefox issue. Help, please?

    See the question above.
I have recently upgraded to Windows 10. I can open is no longer Word attachments, sent to me by the customer in their emails. I called Microsoft support and they said they don't support Outlook as and email client. I had hoped the problem was widespread and would have been fixed now, but I do not see again for any help.

Thanks for any advice that anyone can have.

    Dominic deFazio

I followed your suggestion, but when he asks what to use to open the doc it gives two choices, 'Word' and 'other '.
Where is the 'other' and 'Browse' you suggest?

See pictures attached - they are for the pdf, but 'The other' and 'Browse' the options are the same.

    Location should be here:
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office15\Winword.exe
Note: If you use a 64-bit version of Windows with the 32-bit version of Office, the default location includes (x 86) in the path.
    for example: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Microsoft Office\root\Office15\Winword.exe

However, if you open an another doc word received by email, it is likely that Matt is correct and the word attachment document has been corrupted somehow by scan before opening.

  • Entrust G2 root is not in the list of Mozilla's CA certificates

We noticed that Entrust G2 root certificates only are not in the list of Mozilla's CA certificates. We contacted Entrust and they confirmed that the certificates were sent to Google, Microsoft and Mozilla, and there was nothing they could do to solve the problem.

Are there plans to update the list with new root SHA2 certificates? We are having problems with false positives vulnerability and problems due to not having Mozilla do not these certificates in the trust store.

    https://www.Mozilla.org/en-us/about/governance/policies/security-group/certs/included/

Hello, the root certification authority should work with mozilla to get these certificates in the store of the browser trusts. This question seems to be tracked in bug # 849950.
