  We have two identical servers.  One to use as a main server, which houses two virtual machines.  The other should be used as a back up in case the main server is not somehow.  We planned on using a solution of third-party software to back up our virtual machines and launch them in the event of failure of the principal server.  However, we discovered just gave the failover clustering in Windows Server R2 2012.

  We have tried to set up a cluster 2 nodes, with our virtual machines properly replicated to the backup server.  Excited by the present, we tried then to simulate failure of the primary server (by pulling on the cable network).  We were a little disappointed to find that the backup server is not automatically run virtual machines.  We did a survey and read than a solution of two nodes requires storage space for additional network (in addition to our two servers).

  I wonder if that's okay?  In other words, a two-node failover cluster requires separate network storage space.  If this is not correct, can someone point me to a set of instructions to correctly configure a two-node failover cluster that will automatically launch the virtual machines on the server backup (in the case of a failure of the principal server).

  We have a request from MS Failover Cluster configuration on Windows 2008 R2 2 guests with a storage shared for a web application. However, there is no VMFS storage of data or the ability of the CF to presending RDM. So, I created the disks shared on a NFS datastore using option "Setup for Failover Clustering and Microsoft Cluster Service" and have added the cluster disk and tested successful failover.

  But the MS cluster validation control cancelled storage and I want to know if that configuration is not taken because of supported.

  A notice would be useful.

  We are also working on setting up a cluster of ESXi for iSCSI storage, which can be leveraed for this purpose.

  • CF storage with pRDMs
  • iSCSI storage with initiators guest.

  Yes the cluster file shares are supported with SUCCESS / me.    If you think about it, SQL, Exchange are indeed a "sharing".   Because it is an NTFS volume with services that run against her.  SQL, Exchange or fileshare services.

  Has anyone ever encountered this problem with the GOS SCSI - 3 persistent reservation Tests and FC SAN topology?

  The problem seems to be with the path of the file to SG-3util. In previous tests, I've always used c:/SG-3util such as advised by VMware. I also tried c:\\SG-3util\\ with no luck!

  My target is supported by the reservations it looks like a bug in Workbench?

  You can protect aid comments clustering or using the solution services that protect the virtual machine (such as VMware HA and VMware FT).

Clustered failover means linking two devices running the hyper-v Manager on a network for a shared storage, my boss asked one thing he wants to connect two computers on two different storage servers and connect them on a network he won't SAN option. is there anyway that I can do? and if there is, then, how?

• Issue of persistent Reverb in Windows 7

  Earlier today, my computer suddenly (and I mean all of a sudden, in the middle of listening to a song) started to play all the sounds with a terrible, metallic reverberation that nothing seems to get rid of. I was using the Realtek HD Audio driver, without sound effects or environment running settings. I tried to restart, uninstall and reinstall the audio driver and a system restore. Nevertheless, the problem persists. I have finally got rid of Realtek altogether and now using the microsoft High Definition driver but still no change.

  Please help me. I looked for an answer to this question and found nothing.

  I had the same problem. In the end, the only way I could get rid of it was to uninstall the audio device via the control panel > Device Manager. When I restarted to finish uninstalling the audio device reinstalled cleanly and the undesirable reverberation was gone. Simply reinstall the audio driver on the existing driver has not worked for me. I am running windows server 2008 standard version at the moment and have all the grouping necessary setting such as: joined the domain, shared disk and etc. Facing this problem when trying to run/validate configurations "failover cluster management.

  I signed up with Skype with an account long ago EarthLink is now closed; I use a "gmail" account now (only).  I apparently have a wrong password, so I can't access my Skype account.   I can't use the password recovery option, because the system sends the message to the former and firm earthlink account.  I can't access my Skype profile to change/update my e-mail address, nor can I contact Skype (apparently) via email, chat, phone, nothing, or in any way to update my account with my new email address.  Once changed, then link my Skype account and Microsoft, as well as to get Skype downloaded onto my new computer.   Any ideas out there?
